I drove through Bawnboy the other day and saw that they are doing work on an old workhouse . They have pulled down all the trees around the front of it exposing 3 eery spoooooky looking rundown buildings . Does anybody know whats going on with it ? . Are they pulling them down or somthing else . It would be a shame to see them just disapear given the history that surrounds them.

Its a project to give access around but not into the workhouse.. Start of a long process to save the site..
