I pronounce it Thigh-land, with an audible letter h.
    I pronounce it Tie-land, with a silent letter h.
Does it really matter either way?
I'm Irish, so I say what I like!

I reluctantly pronounce it Tie-land but with an inaudible rub of the tongue against my teeth.

    Tie-land

It's one of my pet hates to hear "Thigh-land".

I can't believe the THIGHS are winning this poll, us silent H'ers need support from linguistics, who will of course add weight to our silent H.

Not very many posters to the English forum is there :(
