    Nope we would not pre-install this on our handsets (as far as I am aware this goes for Meteor also).

    Thanks for the prompt reply Steve.

    If it's not too much trouble, can you verify in an official capacity that this is the case, and not an opinion from your own perspective. You shouldn't be accountable in the case that Meteor phones do indeed ship with CarrierIQ.

    Sorry to sound pushy, but it's important to get an official statement from the company for issues like this.

    Just checked my phone using that voodoo carrier iq detector app and no sign of the software thankfully.
