Has this been moved? I was down around it today and it seems to be out further into the Moy

I have been fishing there lots in the summer,
It is probably the tide, it can play tricks
    On the eye

Maybe, I was looking at it from the Quay side, I'll have to take a walk down the woods and measure it!

The concrete boat.. No its there. High tide you can see it easily from the belleek side.

No, I meant was it moved closer to the centre of the river. I always imagined it to be more over on the beleek side.

Have to agree that the Beleek side is the best to view it. I think it is closer to that side.

I have a photo but can't upload it via photobucket.

    whats its doing there?

To stop silt moving into the channel.
There is a notice board on the Belleek side of the river, explaining the history of the boat and its reasons in the Moy estuary. As far as I remember it was originally at the river mouth and was later moved into the position it is today.
