I am trying to get someone to look at my R-20 which has a loss antenna shaft.

best bet is icom uk im afraid or castle electronics in the uk either way its not gonna be cheap

Looking at a photo of it, it looks as if the mechanics of holding the aerial in place has worked loose.
Should be very easy to tighten up if you can get the back off it without any struggle.

Got the job done by a man in cork and the problem is gone.He found a crack at the board connecting the antenna.Thanks for you reply.
