Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I discovered that I have been trundling about with a broken wrist (more enthusiasm than skill and a pine tree) for the last few weeks before finally getting it checked out on Friday in VHI swiftcare. No cast as it is already set but I need physio.

Any recommendations for south city centre?

These guys are good. They're in Portobello. I've been to see David Ukich a few times in the past couple of years. He's excellent, but they're all very good.

If you don't mind a bit further south ... this might be of help ...

Which bone did you break? I broke an ulna styloid and it healed fine. Another time I broke my scafoid and it was almost a year before it became as issue needing 2 bouts of surgery, a bone graft and an item called a herbert screw so be careful what you do until it is healed properly.

    Thanks for the recommendations guys.

It wasn't the styloid, I just broke a bit off of the end of my radius but it was the right shape to sit back in place and start to set properly - it just felt like a sprain with lots of clicking and popping, until I went mountain biking and it got real sore real quick, met Tom C and some of the lads as I was trying the second half of Ballinastoe one handed - more fun than fire roads but not very bright!

Aidan Woods in Pearse Street is a top guy. A runner, cyclist and triathlete he has been physio to countless international teams in loads of disciplines. Sensible, careful and great value.

I have used Andrew Watson, Raglan Clinic, Fitzwilliam Square for an ACL injury. He was referred by a rugby buddy of mine. He works with one of the consultants in the Sports Surgery Clinic. Worked with the US track and field team. Enough advertising. I used him this year and he really worked brilliant. And he's a sports guys. Don't have his number to hand but he's in the book.

Hope the injury clears up ok!
