Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm looking to get my Toyota car serviced, is there a Toyota garage around or where should I go? Are there 'Toyota approved' mechanics or something like that?

    Thanks,
    Shane

There is Parsons Garage, Tuam but that's a dealer.
There's a garage in Athenry who do a lot of Toyota work - Athenry Motor Centre

I'd recommend James Connolly out beside the Airport. He specialises in Toyota/Lexus.
I think he is in the book under James Connolly - The Chalet, Kiltulla, Co. Galway

Athenry Motor Centre also have a relationship with Parsons, so if you're trying to keep a warranty intact, they're useful.

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Thanks for that. I am going to try James Connolly - can anyone tell me exactly where he is located/give me directions? Google maps has him in the middle of Newcastle

Never go to this guy. Got a clutch cable fitted to my seat Ibiza. He initially told me it would cost 50 or 60 Euro which was broken down 20e Labour and 30ish for the cable. When I went to pay, he charged me €140, €80 of which was labour!!! Now I know mechanics can get the Labour estimate slightly off sometimes, and come across complications......but 4 times as much? I don't think so!! Avoid Avoid Avoid!

Gazscotty, there are several mechs mentioned in this thread so it's unclear who you refer to.
Anyway, digging up old threads to give out about a business isn't ok. If you have a Consumer Issue please use that forum.
