Civil Defence 'Network' TV Broadcasts

There are two things I remember vividly about TV in my childhood
1. The RTE Ident and
2. The Civil Defence once yearly 'Network' broadcasts on a Sunday morning.

The programme would have graphics displaying fall-out figures, and a voiceover. It was a programme simulating the effects in the aftermath of a nuclear strike of airborne radiation levels.

Question: Is there anyone with more info than this?
A friend of mine located the Irish version of the UK Governments 'Protect & Survive' booklet.

The programme was called 'Network 77' or whatever the year was at the time. I seem to remember it finished up sometime in the early 80's.

Any info would be most welcome
