How to get a DVD out of X-box

    Our original x-Box has eaten a rental DVD. How do we get it out again??

    (little rant)
    We try ringing X-Box support, she tried to explain how to take it apart but her English was very bad & I think she was talking X-Box 360. It'll cost €105 to repart, it took 5min just to find the euro amount.

    could just try putting a flat head screw driver in and wedgeing it out shouldnt damage and if it does its not like there expensive you can get one second hand in gamestop for 40 quid. alternativly you could always open up the xbox and take drive apart.

    IIRC there is a tiny hole under the front of the dvd drive. Push something hard into it and it should pop open.

    Sorry, you miss understand.

    The CD drive opens but DVD inside the X-box. It plays an all, need to take it apart.

    how the hell could the game still be playing if its inside the xbox and opening the drive doesnt bring the disc out?

    6 screws holding XBOX together.
    1 under each of the rubber feet and 2 under the stickers on the bottom.
    You will need torque screwdriver to remove them.
