I posted about this in Motors, but this may be a better place for it. I've just arrived home with a 1986 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera cabriolet, and i'm looking to have a few little jobs done on it, full service etc. Is there anyone in Dublin any of you could recommend? Kells is just that bit too much hassle.

Try Barry Wheelan. I don't have his number here but you should be able to find it easy enough (the Porsche Owners Club certainly have it, they reccomended him to me). He has raced 911's and is a very respected specialist, well priced too and pretty central.

Thanks for the reply. The only nomber I can find for Barry Whelan is 01-4537224, it's in both the Part 1 and the Golden Pages. Thing is, it's been constantly engaged for the past two weeks.

    Hi,

Having the same problem contacting Barry Whelan as a previous poster. Is he no longer in business?

Perhaps if you posted some pictures up, it might help finding a number!

ps I hope it came with a FSH. ;)

? I have the car quite a while. I used him this time last year, which is why I was wondering if he is out of business.

EDIT: Maybe that was directed at the OP. ;)

I think he is having some problems with the phone - try PCI they should give it to you-

Sorry - didn't realise you'd resurrected an old thread. Was directed Anan - pointlessly now it seems!
