    Actually, my own questions:

Is the nick name a reference to that Radiohead Song?

    Lego or Mechano?

What do you do for a living?

    Who is/are your Hero(es)?

    1. Do I believe in Karma... I believe in Karma in the sense of good and bad feelings caused by something or other. I don't believe in fate or likewise types of karma. I believe that things happen because you make decisions. I don't believe if you do something bad, something bad will necessarily happen in return

    2. Favourite music, really varies. My favourite artists recently are Jamie T, Bloc Party, Kings of Leon and Queens of the Stoneage. I listen to almost every type of music though. I'm quite a varied individual!

    3. Favourite band... at the moment... really difficult question! Probably Kings of Leon at the minute.

    1. Yes! You're the first person that's owned up to copping on to this. I used to use "KarmaGardaSiochana" but it was a nightmare to type into login pages :D

    2. Mechano.

    3. I'm a software developer. And I'm bored of it. Would love to do photography full time.

    4. My hero. Hmmm... I find it hard to differentiate a hero from someone who inspires me. Is there a difference! Also, varies so much depending on what mood I'm in. Here goes: Leonardo da Vinci, not just for his artistic ability, but he's inventive side too. In science... Richard P Feynman, for his ability to speak about science in leymans language, Einstein for his ingenuity, Stephen Hawking for contributing so much with such a restrictive disability. Rankin (photographer) for his brass balls when taking photos.

Actually, let me come back to the hero one if I have a more definitive answer!

    Are you a culchie?
Well, in terms of where I'm from, yes. In terms of how I act, no.

    Do you dance?
Exceptionally badly with a few beers

What attracts you to the nocturnal side of life?
Sometimes I don't sleep so good.

    Are you a hippy?
    No

What is the largest thing that you have ever stolen?
Ha! A fishing knife from a local store. Not massive, but I've always felt too guilty to steal, so anything bigger would have been out of the question

Where is your favorite place at home and abroad?
Home for me is actually London, so around here it would be Richmond Park. At "home" home... dunno. Sligo is boring. I love Galway though. Abroad, has to be either Darling Harbour in Sydney, or Queenstown in New Zealand.

Do you have any food foibles?
    No

    What do you drive?
Apart from the girlfriend mad, a renault laguna.

If you were going to win an olympic gold medal, what catagory would they have to invent for you?
Extreme tickling. I seem to have quite a nack at finding peoples tickly places. I have endless hours of fun torturing my other half

    Tea?
Yes please. Strong with just a little bit of milk. Can you send it by registered post?

Perceived "class" or "status". I am a fond believer that everyone is equal. I hate people who look down on others, or believe they are better than others. I hate the term "middle class", and particularly hate the term "upper class". Don't expect me to call you "your highness/majesty/excellency", and it you do I'm usually taking the p*ss. If you consider yourself as a particular class above another you're just a nob head in my opinion.

    Yes

It varies on my mood. Guinness, Leffe Blonde, Jameson whiskey, Reme Martin Cognac, Red Wine (yes always red, and my favourite is malbec)

    IE, firefox, opera, chrome, other?
Firefox and Safari. There's different things I prefer about each, so I can't decide!

    favorite sambo?
Something with Bacon. Bacon, Brie and Red Onion Marmalade is awesome.

Should I stay or should I go now?
You can stay only if you promise there will be no trouble

He was a boy/She was a girl/Can I make it any more obvious?
    Cheese comes from milk

What you gon' do with all that junk?/All that junk inside your trunk?
I'm gonna make a maseeef bazooka out of it and blow the crap out of the Black Eyed Pees. :pac:

No. Learnt extremely bad latin american spanish when travelling south america

    5. Last movie you saw?? And what did you think of it??
Jeepers. Can't actually remember! I know one I have seen recently was Yes Man. It was ok, amusing, I'm easily pleased comedy wise though. Not the best I've seen by a long shot though!

    6. Last gig you went to??
Last major gig I went to see was Bob Marley in New Zealand a few years back. He was supported by the frames. Amaaaaazing. Last ordinary gig was some band in London, but I can't quite recall their name. Was quite good though.

    8. Have you any weird food combinations that you like??
Ohhh, try this: shave some parmesan on a sliced pear. Wierd and awesome combo!

Don't really watch much telly. The only things I'll sit down to watch are anything on the Discovery Channel, and QI.

    3. if you were a superpowered animal, what animal would you be?? And what would be your powers??
Ohhhh, I like this one. I reckon I'd be an eagle. And my super power would be the ability to make super super large poos. Imagine the fun!

    4. if you won the lotto, what would be your first purchase??
I'm boring and predicable here as to my hobbies! Probably a camera called the Hasselblad H3D-II... cost about 15k:

    *drooooooools*

:Dok, my favourite author at the moment is Andy MacNabb.... bit controversial considering I'm Irish, but if you read Seven Troop it's an amazing insight into the SAS and some of the things that happened. All based on a truth as well

Thanks! I try. I need to improve lots though.

    *SLURP!*

Surely sligo has some good points?
Ah it has. Benbulben, loads of wicked scenery, one of the best surfing beaches in Ireland, W.B. Yeats himself. :)

You know it is right next to thee most beloved patch of durt on the planet!
    Leitrim?

What is the best thing about living in London?
Always something to do. There's always loads of gigs, events, parks, pubs, restaurants. And you can live in London, but not really in London. I live near Wimbledon and I can be in the city centre in 20 minutes. Really cool place to live.

Where is you favorite place to eat there?
Awesome restaurant called Moomba in Putney.

How did you meet the GF?
I worked with her for a bit. She worked for 6 months in a company with me years ago. We got together and managed to keep it a secret for the whole time. This is about 8 years ago. Been round the world and back with her I must be doing something right :D

What do you want for christmas?
A decent pint of Guinness, some home cookin, and maybe some neat camera gadgets would be the icing on the cake! (I'm going to sound like such a camera geek by the end of this thread!)

Where will you be spending it?
At home in Sligo. Gettin drunk with the bros. Good times... good times!

Tell me a storey about South America?
Wow, so many. First one to mind then.... After arriving in Santiago in Chile we hired a jeep to drive down south to an active volcano. (Was a super adventure, even learnt how to surf on my way there! Can't remember the place we stopped off at...) anyway, when we were driving back up we started to run out of Fuel. I thought, ah, it's a jeep, will go on for aaaages... 10 miles down the road it started to chug. Now, we're in the middle of Chile, and had NO idea where we were. We were just hanging for a fuel station or turn off. So we see this sign for a town so I hammered up the slip road and to a roundabout, in a panic headed left... (you drive on the right side of the road in chile...) and had to go through grass and ditches to avoid cars! I must have looked like a maniac. Just got off the verge and the jeep starts to conk out... so I just clutched and let it roll. Spotted a fuel station in the distance, no fuel left, jeep rolling, and it stops just about a foot from the fuel pump. How lucky was that.

I probably have better stories but that one came into my head! ohh, I coulda told the one about climbing the active volcano... bugger, I'll tell that one again! I'm in a hurry to get out of work....

    What are you afraid of?
Oh lordy, heights. But I'm brave enough to put up with them. I'm not too fond of spiders either, but they have to be fairly big to freak me out.

Right! I'll be back later to check for more q's!!
