Computer Science v Computing

Hey i'm thinking of doing either comp. sci. or computing in DIT but the prospectus is a bit vague about the real differences between them. Is computer science just more programming and computing is more practical hardware related? Any help would be much appreciated:)

Look into Business Computing. DT354.

Good mix of computer stuff with business subjects.

I started DT228 back in the year 2000 (back then it was FT228). However, after third year I left and went to study Applied Biology at IT Carlow. I'm finishing in Carlow this year and will be returning to finish my Computer Science degree (DT228) this September.

It's a great course. It only began in 1999 so it's not old and rotting like so many other courses.
