Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nice photo. They're black headed gulls in winter plumage(minus black face). Mostly an inland gull.

Try setting a higher shutter speed to freeze action. Otherwise lovely shots.

Shutter of 160-200 is generally enough to freeze action and an aperture of 5.6 would be more appropriate.

In manual mode you can set this and be fairly sure of a pin sharp image.

    Also continuous auto focus.

    Nonetheless Excellant shots.

Excellant points, Art is often concise, well framed and in focus but more often than not blurred, badly composed and overexposed. Yet we still derive joy from even the most rudimentary finger daubings.
