Ok here's my setup atm. I have a few kits I need to finish off then I will be moving onto all grain. I did say when I got finished near enough I will post a pic of my setup.

I've managed to convince my girlfriend that we don't need a table and chairs so I have them disassembled and put away upstairs in a spare room. Cool huh? I've convinced her some bar stools and the bar here is the way forward.

Some very impressive setups there folks. I bottled a batch of cider last night. You can get an idea of the colour in the clear glass bottle over on the right hand side. Can't wait for it. Going to kick off another one soon so that they can properly age before I drink them all. :)

Yes it is! Well spotted. Saw it in lidl one day and tried it out. Tasty enough.

47 bottles (large and small) of amber ale. First time dry-hopping, smelt great at bottling... think it's time to get a bench capper. The twin-handed capper was a mare at times.

I keep one bottle of every brew for some purpose that isn't clear yet. You can see some of them over at the far right.

Hey Beernut - How do you stop these from Freezing during winter? Is it not too cold in your attic for carbonation? The attic would really suit me as my house is small and I've very little space to store my brews!

Here is my Milestone IPA. It was my first brew, made in February. It tasted very homebrewy so I had left it under the stairs untouched. I decided to try it last night and its much nicer. Its a very dark IPA though, I wouldnt go for it again. I much prefer the American IPA.

    215647.JPG

I also have a Better Brew Pilsner which is almost ready to drink - I dry hopped it with about 30g of cascade. At the moment it tastes pretty damn good - really looking forward to having it again in a few weeks!

Will be putting on a few brews this weekend:

    1) Breferm Christmas
    2) Brewferm Gallia
    3) Ginger Beer recipe from another thread!

I also have an all grain American IPA kit from Brouland - just have to put together my all grain equipment!

Looks very good!! I had a heartbreaking evening during the week where I had to throw my Stout down the sink as it was undrinkable :( I had tried (over the last few weeks) the brew in the hope that it'd come on a bit, but alas it was not to be. About 30 bottles down the drain....I am not put off at all though. Have a Oz Pale Ale conditioning in bottles and a Pilsner (for herself) in Secondary. Have high enough hopes for the Ale anyway.

what kit did you use, and did you do anything to make it particularly chocolaty and coffee-ey?

Coopers stout kit is going to be my next brew on and I'm thinking I'm going to still be drinking it come Christmas and the tastier it is the better for the festive season...

What happened to your stout Lang?

Not sure what exactly happened to it. It was near undrinkable. Was just better to throw out and continue with other brews. I had made mine with Cooper Kit and Dark LME. I probably didn't aerate the wort enough before pitching or something like that. I'll try it again in future, but will use Light LME or Spraymalt next time.

Sure, an honorary homebrewed ale to you (no P&P). I'm guessing you've either lived here or currently reside here. There's quite a scene, and growing. Do you know these beers? Frequent any of the craft beer bars around town?

Think ive had them all in your picture. You going to Beervana?

Coopers Brewmaster Irish Stout + Coopers Light LME. Then a day before bottling brewed up a strong coffee + cocoa powder in a french press and added to the fermenter. I was hoping for more chocolate flavour but the coffee is pretty over-powering. Only reason I added it so late was it was meant to be a normal stout and had a last minute change of mind.

Just sipping on one of my Coopers Irish stouts at the moment, don't have a camera handy but I'll upload a pic later. I added about 15 shots of espresso to the wort before I pitched the yeast. I love coffee so I don't think it's over powering. The head on it isn't as tight as yours though, I assume yours is kegged?

Here's my most recent. Coffee Stout! I used Morning Growler coffee on this one. It's quite strong on the coffee front but I quite like it. Only 10 bottles left now!! wasn't long getting through it. It's actually a cracking breakfast beer, just had one earlier. It's kind of worrying drinking at 9am though!!

A recent Pale Ale that was Brewed for Euro 2012, Unfortunately Long gone now :o
Was a Partial mash, with Maris Otter and crystal malts, Hopped with Cascade and Nelson Sauvin, also dried hopped for 10 days in secondary with same hops.

Thats a lovely looking stout The Scratcher, am planning a Christmas stout, hope to get it in the fermenter in the next month and leave it age til Christmas!

Thanks! I highly recommend it. It took huge will power to stop after two bottles - If I could do it again I would do two kits at once because they are only 13L each.

Reviews of this look very good. Think I'll buy one with my next order. I haven't done a kit since the finlandia apple and pear which has aged well but I'm still not in love with (just personal preference). The pear cider I made from rocha pears is starting to run low so it would be good to have some pear cider for around Christmas.

Real smell of farts in the fermenter and when putting into bottles but only 3 weeks later it was crystal clear and tasted devine. you get a little pouch of concentrated pear juice to add when bottling - maybe this added to the flavour. I made their apple cider too with 700g of sugar and 900g of honey & this turned out even nicer....

Got the 'On The Rocks' kit from HomebrewWest. @ 19.99 it's a little more expensive than the other kits but far nicer than any of the other kits i've tried.

I'm doing a batch of turbo cloudy apple (might spice it a bit for the festive season) and I'm definitely sold on that pear on the rocks stuff. Going to kick both off in probably 2 weeks (have a sporting event between now and then so I'm busy training and not drinking).

The way Christmas falls this year most people will be off from the Friday before (21st) so I expect extra drinking and I'm preparing accordingly. :D

Might give that on the rocks apple a lash too, given the good reviews. I'd be hard pressed to part with my lovely cloudy apple turbo though. I am madly in love with it.

I made a rauchbier today, its in the fermenter, no action yet but I'm hopful that I'll end up with a good un.

I made this out of the spent grain. Some of it wasnt cooked in the middle but the ends tasted amazing. Will be doing this each brewday from now on.

Opened a bottle of my Coopers Real Ale last night. I used honey in this one.
It was 3 weeks in the primary and two weeks in the bottle as of last night. I just wanted to see how it was coming along and I have to say I'm delighted with it. You can smell the honey from it and it tastes delicious. It retains it's head really well.

Started off at an attempt at an Imperial Stout, but the balance of chocolate malt to the rest of the grain was way off, and various ruinous yeast-explosions meant it never got down below 1.035, so... it's now a double chocolate stout!
