Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it just me or does water jet flossing sounds like some weird sexual practice?

Interesting. I'd be willing to try them out anyway. Normal dental floss freaks me out.

"Water jet is clinically proven to be up to 93-percent more effective than flossing"

Hmm, I'd want to see this 'clinical proof' before I shelled out. Still, I do hate flossing, and I'd say using one of these might be less of a pain in the ass.

I've asked on a specialist dental forum and they've informed me that they may be very good for gums. (But then so may a good quality electric toothbrush with suitable attachment).

They've informed me they wouldn't be so good for between the teeth and regular dental floss may well be better than these water jet flossers.

There's also this which is an electric flosser...
