Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

i have an excel file who's spreadsheets are locked / protected.

All i want to do is to copy the cells from one of the excel spreadsheet , and paste them into a new spreadsheet - but i can not do so.

i can not select any of the cells on any of the spreadsheets on the file.

    can anyone help?

there are no formulas or anything in the spreadsheets, just text.

it would be a great help.

    thanks

    Jo

Can you print it to a PDF and then copy from the PDF into word?

DId you try a "Save as" and then try copy? Check the file properties to ensure it is not read only. If you cannot change this then try the new file you saved.

I never understand why people protect their sheets to that level. You could ask for the password or there are tools for recovering lost excel sheet passwords you could look up.

This looks interesting, let me know if you try it and works.
It says it only works if you can open the workbook initially.
