Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If I've missed anything let me know, after Thursday 7pm there won't be any change in the scoring system as outlined above. Score predictions are to be in 24 hours before the first game in each series is played. No one will be eliminated from the competition if they don't submit scores for a particular week on time but retrospective forecasts will not be included for obvious reasons
Likewise you can join when ever you like but if you want to win you need to be in it for as long as possible. 0 -

Ah marwelie you said the closing date was 24 hours before kick off i.e. Thursday at 7pm? More than 24 hours before kick off is a bit early to stop taking entries.

As per my reply to Mal-Adjusted and Old Youth, you're in. Cut off confirmed as 7pm tonight.
I thought I'd be up to my eyeballs in work and at home this week , but things have levelled out a bit. The main problem was setting up a spreadsheet but I think its sussed (famous last words!) I wanted to give myself enough time to work out formulae this week and make sure they were right.
From next week the cut off is 24 hours before kick off of the first match of the weekend. I won't have time to enter scores on Fridays as I'll be going to the match direct from work and no new entries will be accepted on Friday.
Returning entrants may submit scores on Friday but only up to kick off of the first game. In this circumstance, any forecasts of results of games in the same series played earlier in the week will not be counted.
I'll try to get the fixture series for each week up on the Sunday night/Monday morning prior to kick off but if I don't do it, don't hesitate to do it yourself. We are in this together Any errors in the total scores should be pointed out too asap so that they can be fixed before the following weeks scores are added.
Scoring system will also be clarified later this evening, and won't be changed.
Scoring system
2 points for matching result (Home Win, Away Win, Draw)
2 points for matching score (self explanatory, I hope!)
1 point for correct margin of victory (ie 1-0 = 2-1, difference of one goal)0 -
