Hi guys, I'm not sure if this falls under the "medical advice" category, so feel free to move/ lock the thread if it is. :)

Anyway, I have asthma and I take 2 puffs of symbicort turbohaler in the morning and at night. I know that the steroid in the inhaler can cause thrush, and I always seem to have a sort of white coating on my tongue. That's not really the issue though as it doesn't give me much trouble, i.e I have no symptoms of thrush with it.

What I'm wondering is if this white coating is a result of using the inhaler and non-contagious, or can it be transmitted to another person?

    Thanks. :)
