Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Leinster -4 from iso

Lads and lassies. Stuck 10ew on Spieth on Wednesday. He only went -2 yesterday. The others caught up. I have an option now of a cash out for 97.95.

I'm thinking of hitting the button. Last day jitters might get to the guy.

    England to cover the handicap?

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 33,172 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

England to cover -25 at evens looks very good. Reckon they shoukd win by 30 to 35 as they will look to set down a bit of a marker, pp giving free bet if it is exactly a 25 point win, bet365 are evens -24 handicap with tie.

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 23,145 ✭✭✭✭beertons

    Took -25 with pp.

    Game on.

To start this World Cup journey I'm backing Fiji to get within the 25 of England. Fiji are no joke and with a sniping scrum half, an off loading second row and a winger who will test the line from 5 yards are a worthy bet to start this journey. Good luck if you follow

to add to this Fiji have shown a bias for playing better in the first half of games, so iv taken some +12 on ht handicap, before england edge home.

I like Draw (HT) & Eng (FT), which is an equally generous x25.
More realistic to have see draw at end of 1st half, than at very end, but about the same price.
Might get off to a slow pressured start and if some of the larger Fiji boys do some flattening.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 33,172 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

Eng by 24, can't get much closer than that!
Surely tiredness will have an effect on Fiji against Aus in 5 days time

Disappointed with how Tonga went about that game. Mailing against a ferocious pack was futile.

    Onwards and upwards Ireland -42

Brother said he saw them at 100/1

Edit. Pp are saying on Facebook 100/1 Japan beat RSA, but their twitter feed had 66/1

Paddy power share price will probably hit €120.00 by the time the wc is over at this rate.

paddys where an awful 40/1 on japan, good bit 100/1 + match on betfair anyway, where still 10s+ when tied 10 mins left.

Samao should grind this home don't expect USA to score all that much

Anyone else think the -65 handicap on Wales is a bit of a stretch? Can see them winning well but holding back in the 2nd half with England next weekend.

its decent to back uruguay with handicap but prefer 1st half handicap, cant help but see them tire in end, kickers decent anyway which helps

Having a decent punt on Scotland to cover the 16 point cap v Japan. A 4 day turnaround for the Japanese may see them struggle and feel it will be comfortable Scottish victory. I'm going against popular opinion as some commentators give the Jspanese a chance of winning outright . Added to this was the fact that South Africa were abject and had no plan b. Good luck if you follow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 72 ✭✭Deckyalrite

What is the general consensus on the unders in the Japan game. Under 51.5 points looks very tempting to me. Scotland aren't exactly going to score more than 3 and will be happy just to tick away at the penalties to secure victory rather than going for the bonus point.

Aus need 2 converted tries to cover -26 now. 10 mins left.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54 ✭✭Isotonic2

Biggest thing to take from the games to date is the fitness levels of the so called minnows. Seeing out games very well. With that in mind I'm on Romania +39. Good luck if you follow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,194 ✭✭✭FatRat

Thoughts on the all blacks tonight?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,486 ✭✭✭manafana

minnows have managed a good training block from what i heard compared to in past, 2nd half still going be an issue though from such big hits the size differences are noticeable.

Bryan Habana to over take Lomu as having the most tries scored at the world cups? He's on 11, Lomu has 15. Can Habana score 5 more now during the wc?
