Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cosworth only helped to engineer the engine head, that is all.
What options does it have? Has she got the self leveling front axle (rear one was installed as standard)? Is it manual Getrag transmission? Nice car and way ahead of its time...

Manual dogleg transmission, self leveling in the rear, didnt know they had it in the front too? Even if Cosworth only looked under the hood and gave an opinion it would still be an input.:) Cracking engine though, plenty of poke in the top end & i'm told they are more reliable than the 2.5?

They did have the self leveling in front axle and you could also manually adjust the front suspension height from the cabin :). The 2.3 may be more reliable, as it is less stressed. The 2.5 has its peak power 1,000 rpm later in the revs range.
Have a look at this website, some info about the 190E 16V:

Well wear vectra, like it a lot. Full leather was a good idea!

I was sort of nervous of the standard interior getting grubby on the lighter areas,
Leather was only 700 extra so was not too hard to add.
    Thanks for the compliment. ;)

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the comments........ I actually have the orignal indicators but using the clear ones for a change. I do add the Cosworth bit as I nearly always get a frown/laugh from people who ask me what engine it has when they dont know that Cosworth had an input into the car.

My favourite car of all time, those Mercs. Have to say I'm not gone on the more modern wheels at all at all, they take the look off it :o

It is - sold it pretty quickly. Love the Alfa, but that 5-series was a great car - I wish I didn't get bored with my cars so quickly.

The real question is how come you got a cool frost sheen and we are buried under snow!? How does it handle in the bad weather?
