Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm travelling next week and will be bringing my Aeropress, Porlex hand grinder, and beans.

Do I need to bother bringing my scales as well, or would a rounded scoop of beans using the Aeropress scoop more or less equal correct dosage? I don't care about a gram here or there, particularly when travelling.

If you wll be using the same beans throughout, then weigh a dosage of the beans and then make a note of how many scoops it is. use that.

a scoop of beans is generally 16/17g. I never weigh for Aeropress anymore (except for the judges).....
