Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Still 3rd well second as of now, looks like Elano is the lynchpin of that team now.

Zat Knight just gave Rooney two goals and then Gardener put one in for Utd. Other than that Villa were doing lol

Ah well we'll get to see if Curtis Davies is worth his money now that Knight will have to be dropped. 1-4 to Utd I reckon will be the FT score.

    Up the Villa

yup it hurts so it does. hope Villa learnt something from the spurs game where they lead 3-1 at half time. The game isnt over but snit

    4-1 utd.

If you combine the villa v utd game and the mersyside derby the stats are pretty funny.

    4 red cards
    3 penalties
    3 own goals

    !

I think Utd have better stats at Villa Park than they do at Old Trafford  Can we play there every week :D

No, Villa were 8th on 14 points. Blackburn were 6th and Chelsea were 7th (both on 15 points).

He did indeed Des. Didn't see the game myself but here's what the fans thought...
Ireland - 6 - Passing was poor in the first half, he brightened up towards half time and the disappeared in the second half. Corluka produces more on the right than Ireland.

Agree with all the ratings, except Ireland should have a 4. He was pants
Ireland was pretty piss poor. His grandmas death must have hit him hard, poor lad.
Ireland - 5 - Dreadful distribution, the lad clearly has issues that he needs to address before playing for the first team again.
    Ireland 4 - fu*kin sh1te

    So that begs the question....

Anyone think there are more than 3 teams worthy of relegation already.

Bolton Derby reading wigan boro spurs are all ****e, theres other who will end up there just seems to be a bigger gap between the top clubs and the midle and bottom.

Spurs being in the religation zone after 9 games is criminal.

Spending that much on Darren Bent is criminal.

Spurs will finish top half without a doubt and will probably make 6th for a euro position me thinks.

    Subbed at half time.

Not well at all going on his half time subbing.

    1-1 Kenwyne Jones.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,977 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

    Jones is playing well though.

We'll never hear the end of it from Rednapp now, he mentioned before the game to watch Jones heading ability today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,117 ✭✭✭✭MrJoeSoap

Stunning effort from Leadbitter with an equally stunning save by Green. Jones is a shoe-in for man of the match.

He did ok. Maybe you could fault him for not stoping the cross for their goal, but Roy is not on the pitch for his defensive duties.

    Looked comfortable at that level.

Surely he has to go at this stage, even if he doesn't deserve to be where he is. I blame the management above him, but still, he should have done better with the players he has.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,117 ✭✭✭✭MrJoeSoap

Embarrassing enough considering the money he has spent, regardless of when he goes.
