Where to get a Torbeck Cistern Valve unit near Dun Laoghaire?

Anyone recommend somewhere near Dun Laoire to get a a Torbeck Cistern Valve unit ?

May try a fluid master is they are a straight swap?
Its for a bottom filling unit in a Roca Cistern

dublin providers (DPL) are in deans grange i think they are on kill lane , also in deans gange are heat merchants , you can get both torbeck and fluidmaster ball valves there . if you have a fluidmaster fitted at the moment and you buy a new fluidmaster one you can replace main part without having to remove the whole thing from your cistern , the same goes for the torbeck type , but they are not compatible with each other

Chadwicks in Sandyford do them also.
Everywhere rides you sideways for them - flippin €32 for a kit!

I got them off ebay for £7 STG.

agreed on the riding. Becareful when ordering that you get low pressure one's most are adaptable for low and high pressure but some are solely set at high pressure

I got the kit with the little cork-screw to allow 'pressure adjustment'.
It seems to be an over-engineered joke of a product designed with built-in redundancy after 5 years...

got a fluid master in DPL for €28.81 inc vat

and then I discover I needed a 1/2" not a 3/4" after taking it all apart...aggrrr

3/4"???? Did it not come with an adapter?? What part of it is 3/4"

the threaded part that needs to go through the cistern is!
no adapter with it either :rolleyes:

There is something wrong there. As all irish cistern feeds are 1/2". With respect are you sure you have the right fittings. A simple solution is to bring it back and ask the chap behind he counter to explain how this goes through a standard 1/2" cistern hole.

no your right the hole is for a 3/8's!! its a roca unit bought in dublin ..so on the hunt!!
