Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They are only relatively accurate when you are driving at speed. The thermos tend to be located in the bumpers, so if it is in the sun when the carr is stationary, the bumper acts like a bit of a greenhouse. You should notice when you drive off that the temp drops.

Reached 21.0c here today. All in all a good summers day.

First shower of rain we've had in over a week here in Galway just now.
Sky cloudy, more showers on the way.

Light showers here on and off, only 1mm measured by the aws so far.
Wonder what kind of totals are being recorded in the UK midland areas, seems that there has been rain over there for about 24 hours solid now.

My copy of WDL has crashed-so my web page isn't updating.I've no time at present to even begin to look into it.

Well I had 14.7mm between 7am and 9am from two really heavy showers (rain and hail) - I was looking at reports from both Casemnet and Dublin AP and they were both reporting very little rainfall over the same period. You know yourself, this type of weather can be very localised.

Also bear in mind that wind is north esat/east and that I am at higger elevation than both Casement and Dublin AP, in the foot hills of the Dublin Mountains, so I would expect to be getting an element of orographic rainfall.

    up to 35.1mm now.

Up to 27.4mm here now( current r/r 5.8mm/hr), I won't be denied first place by a Dubliner before the day is out!!

Not raining now but clearly quite heavy at time overnight. Overcast and quiet, but a few patches where it could break.

    edit clearing up
