Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why wax? The man should be chiseled out of a marble block 50 foot high and placed in the middle of O'Connel street. Dressed in nothing but a Roman tunic that partially reveals his upper thigh and left nipple. His right index finger placed cheekily over his lips as he poses Marliyn Monroe-esque for the benefit of the plebians of Ireland. People would travel from near and far to see the wonder. Will people faint as they are overwhelmed by the beauty? Possible. Will it be worth it? definitely.

It looks more like Ronald Reagan.

I thought it was the 'Ron Manager' character from The Fast Show.

Agreed. I thought it looked like a combination of Paul Whitehouse with Tom O'Connor's smile but Ron Manager is better :)

Looks like a cross between Reagan and Nixon tbh, I wonder how much someone got paid to make that?

Wow that's a terrible sculpting. His facial structure is completely different.

Looks a cross between Henry Kelly and prince Charles. Looks terrible.

That's it... Prince Charles. I knew the waxwork reminded me of someone, but this morning I wasn't able to place who it was.

    Thank you. :)

I will never sleep again, as I know for a fact that that thing is lying under my bed, waiting for me to start to drift off to sleep, when it will emerge, jerkily lurching closer and closer towards me...

Maybe they didn't intend for it to look like Tubridy. That way, it reduces the motivation for people to attack it.

I wonder if the trade-off was worth it, still would be better off being burned with a large wick.

I think he looks like a young Colm Murray - used to be a sports commentator on RTE before he became ill.

I hear they're doing Daithi O'Se next - in order to get it really lifelike they're going to make it entirely of wood :)

Typical of any other in the Irish waxwork musuem, such painstaking attention to detail it's way off the mark

Reasonably impressive but not up to scratch with the template of tussauds. /**** that, it's dire regardless.

I thought it was the 'Ron Manager' character from The Fast Show.

My first thought was Paul Whitehouse too, though this character
