Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anyone tell me if Tipperary Footballers if ever scored 4.16 in a competitive fixture before the game against Louth last Sunday.

They scored 5-16 against Leitrim, 3-20 against Antrim and 2-24 against Carlow. All last year.

Tipp on the up alright hopefully. Should have beaten Cork last year in Cork which would have been huge for them.
I see Conor Sweeney got 1-5 aswell. Was top scorer in all 4 divisions of the league from what I recall.

They really need to work on conceding goals.

They have conceded the most goals and the least number of points of all 32 teams in the league 9-38. A bit of a crazy stat when you think about it.

In the championship last year, they conceded 4 goals to Laois (yet still won) and 4 goals to Galway which they lost.

If they could cut down on the goals conceded they could take a serious step forward, as they definitely have the forwards to compete.

They scored a ridiculous amount against Galway last year, even though they lost.

But yeah, they were top scorers in the entire league last year. Play good attacking football, some fine young players.

The biggest problem they have is that although they have a number young players coming through, they are still losing some very good ones to the hurlers.

Sligo scored 2-26 against Louth a few weeks ago, don't think they ever scored that many points before, they are playing Tipp next week, should be another shoot out.

Paddy Keenan retiring accounts for a fair bit of their drop I'd say.
