Hacker in the session. They can also spawn themselves in "god mode" making them invincible. They can destroy any vehicle you are in (usually jets/buzzards), empty all your ammo, and worse case scenario they can empty your bank account. My advice would be to take a nice photo of the flying saucer, report the hacker and switch session. These guys are a nuisance and there seems to be a lot of them recently after their hacking tool got fixed. They are proper trolls and do all this solely for their own amusement. I always get a vision of Brendan Grace in Fr. Ted whenever I encounter one of these clowns - "I blew up your jet and took all your money! I had my fun, and that's all that matters!"

There are also money hackers around (although I haven't encountered one since the "hack tool fix"). If you get gifted a lot of money for no reason spend it quick. R* will eventually discover you have received glitched money and remove it. Any assets you bought with the money should be ok though.

The above really explains some weird sh!t that has been happening in my last few sessions. That ferris wheel down in the promenade, the whole wheel was in the in the middle of the city one evening. I was like WTF!

Anyone on tonight? I'm going on after 11 I reckon, not played in nearly a week I'm having withdrawal symptoms!

Just had the sh**test experience so far in gta5.

I accepted an invite for the mission "rooftop rumble". For anyone who knows it it pays very well for a short amount of work so I usually always accept invites to it. So I join and these three English pr**ks are trying to boast about who has the bigger manhood or whatever. The mission starts and two of them decide to start verbally abusing me and chanting my username. I ignore them anyway. I don't have a mic so I just toggled mute for the both of them. For those who know the mission there are basically two parts, shoot the guys in the garage then collect the package and deliver it to madraso. We did the first part within a minute and one of the guys picked up the package and then they all just tore off towards the destination. No biggy so I just thought I'd leave them to it and raced around the street for a few minutes waiting on them to finish it off.

I then get a notification that the other members are voting to kick me from the game and that I better chance my ways.!!! I turned on the audio for the others again and hear them sniggering and saying "yea let's boot him" just as they are parked outside madraso's house. I'm then booted and no pay day despite are spending over 3k on ammo. I don't mind getting booted at the start of a mission but to do it at the end out of spite is just disgraceful.

I hear ya man, I've had a few bad experiences but that is rough. It can be very depressing when you encounter people like that. I played a deathmatch recently, was just using small guns to try increase their stats, the others were using RPGs, so I ended up with 2 kills and they all ended up with 20. I then get a message from one of them saying "****IN NOOB" - trivial enough now and I don't mind being called names but knowing that such a twat actually exists can get me down and put me off playing for a while.

The last time I was online there were some dubious races but I'd say TacoMan found three of the most frustrating ones there. :pac:

PS froze on that last race too. :(

Sorry, TacoMan! I was kicked three or four times and it wouldn't connect me to some of those invites at all. The one it did, my PS froze at the end. I'm leaving it at that for tonight. :(

Good laugh yesterday though. I'd recommend everyone try that wall race with stock coupes in the rain. :pac:

The wall race with the stock coupes was torture, I thought it would never end :) After the playlist finished we headed to freemode and the strangest things started happening. The map was not showing any jobs or other players. The select menu was not working either. Calls to Lester/Merryweather just rang out. Pressing down on the dpad to show the list of players wasn't working either. We were driving around and all of a sudden the car disappeared then reappeared a few feet away. I eventually died but did not respawn. By this stage it froze my PS3 and I called it a night. I really hope this was a game bug and not some hacker idiot at work cos the game was completely unplayable.

When online actually loaded last night I appeared in my apartment garage as usual but after a few seconds my vehicles just vanished. Then some female character appears on the far side of the garage and starts running at me like something out of a horror film. I don't think I've ever left a session as fast. :o

There must be some easier way to hack because these arseholes are nearly in every second session and its been getting worse for the past month.

if you see somebody at this report them. I think proco or someone said if there are 3 people in the same session that report a hacker spawning UFOs or going into god mode R* will look into it.

now I'm not one for telling tales snitches get stitches etc etc , but if there ruining other peoples game then I've no problem with it.

Reported someone the other day but doubt anything will happen. I'll keep doing it though, as you said, if enough people do it they'll have to lookinto it.

Its that day again , the eve of the GTA update 1.16 but will it come out?

Rumours are it could be delayed even longer due to a lot of these "modded lobbies" let's hope not. The endless speculation vids on youtube are enough to drive anybody insane .

I hope its out tonight or even tomorrow hopefully with casino and a couple of decent cars. I think I'll crack up if I've to wait another week and to make it worse I'm going through my saved funds quickly due to boredom. i won't have a washer left . :(

Played for a while earlier after an extended period of not having played. 10 minutes in and everyone in the session was teleported to the airport and started doing the stripper dance. Had no control whatsoever over my character.

How does this work though? I don't think people know they are in a money lobby, they just get gifted a ton of money for no reason by a random player, who usually leaves shortly after. What do they do then - report the gifter and don't spend a cent in fear they might get a ban? Or is it a case that if you get gifted money R* sees this and then you're banned and the hacker gets away scot-free?

Imo R* would be better off going after the hackers rather than the poor saps who might get gifted money and be none the wiser to whats actually going on. Next thing they're banned for 2 weeks. If I was a noob on GTAO and got gifted a billion, then subsequently banned I don't think I'd bother coming back tbh.

Has anyone been gifted hacked money recently? All I have seen is lots of destructive troll hackers, and no money glitchers. I'm hoping I get glitched money, need to buy a ton of stuff for both online characters and I'll eat my own head before I invest in a shark card. I'd gladly take a 2 week ban if I can hang onto any assets I buy with dodgy money.

they can tell if you're gifted money. I was gifted it before (In november I think it was) and all they do is remove it. They even released a statement at the time saying that anyone who was gifted did not need to worry.
My only regret from the time was that I didn't fill up a garage with 10 fully upgraded adders.

Edited to add: it actually happened twice. Once I was minding my own business and suddenly had two billion. The next time it happened a friend I was playing with saw that someone was placing 2 billion bounty's on people. He messaged the guy and had a 2 billion bounty placed on me. Twice. The first time he kept the money, the second he split the money with me. Neither of us received a ban although i was terrified of it at one point.

Got gifted around $1.5b around the same time. Those were the days. The game is so much fun when you don't have to worry about money. Fully modding random cars for the laugh (chrome Stanier anyone?) just to see how they look/perform, then passing the car onto some non-billionaire. Leaving a chromed out Adder near LS customs, and waiting for someone to jump in, take it for a bit of a spin before I set off the ignition bomb I also planted (got some "colourful" texts after a few of these).

Sitting in the apartment watching other players on tv and sending mercs and muggers after them to hear the roars (still a favourite of mine when there's no crew online, and I encounter a particularly annoying player on the mic in freemode)! Managed to blow around $200m easily on this kind of messing.

Yep, those were the days...... (looks wistfully into the horizon).

Why not just glitch some money yourself ? There was a glitch a couple of weeks ago and you could make around 6 million in about half an hour if you wanted , theres a whole subreddit for glitches

Whoa! Hold up! What hooker killing one?

You popped a hooker into your car. Blocked the door and then shot her. If you brought a car with a dead hooker into your garage, when you tried to change it's position, you ended up duplicating the car.

It was weird that you could sell a car to LS customs with a dead hooker in it and they were fine with it:)

No , fill you garage with free elegys , get in your most expensive car (i bought an adder for this)and drive into your garage ,.

Get a mate to buzz to be let in

    Let him in

You get into your car and he gets in aswell (vehicle entry set to passangers)

Before you drive out have him select another character (trevor ect) but when it goes to
The black screen asking him if hes sure he wants to leave dont press anything a have him stay like that

Then you drive out and straight back in , get out of your adder (or whatever) go to the pink vehicle arrange icon thing at the back and click to move ur car on to one of the elegys spots and when you do another adder will appear in its place

Get back in your car and repeat untill all the elegys are adders , your passanger does nothing just stays on the black screen and only exits when ur finished

Go and sell all the cars , no 45 min waiting time

    Repeat untill your minted

Yup, I notice on that reddit link they ask posters not to post their psn's as Rockstar would obviously keep an eye on the most popular sites for glitching etc.

I'll stick to grinding rooftop rumble and buying shark cards :pac:

The big money/dns glitching is dodge alright , i used one of the first glitches( lsc car selling) for about 20 million And never a problem , even after all the crazy billions were being given away and then taken back by rockstar(i was on hols at the time so didnt get any) i still had my money , was down to my last 3 million 3 or 4 weeks ago and got another 45 millon , i havent heard of anyone (reading on reddit) that had any money taken off them for duplicating , id say once its kept reasonable and dont go all Roman Abramovich on it its grand. Anyway if i had to grind out money in the game i would have stopped playing a long time ago
