Now we're in Round Ten, guess we can start thinking of write ups :) This is mostly going on D2D's post from last year...

This is the thread that participants in the Draft game may use for the weekly TV show build of their respective rosters in the contest. It will also ultimately be used for the final write-up at the end to determine which roster is the winner.
    - Posting is optional. Participants don't have to write weekly shows for their rosters if they don't want to.

    - You can outline your promotion, TV show name, your roster's champions etc.

    - The norm has been to post once per draft pick. This is essentially your weekly TV show building up to your PPV so you can post this up to 5 times.

For this opening stage if you want to do a post outlining your roster and then do a post for week 1 of your show, that's fine. Try to make sure in future rounds however you make it one show per round so it stays easy for everyone to follow.

    - Final write-ups will be posted after round 15. It is your PPV event and the only thing which is a requirement in this thread. This is not optional as the PPV will be judged to determine the winner.

You can commence your PPV build now. Good luck and have fun. As always please keep discussion of the game in the discussion thread.

    International Championship Wrestling Presents...
    ...New to the Lebowskilite Network...
    icwmnglogo.png

International Championship Wrestling is a wrestling promotion which has been hitting it big in recent years but has only now made the move to the big-time "Lebowskilite Network", which will allow the weekly Monday Night Games to compete with heavily crowded field of quality wrestling promotions out there. We pick up the drama the night after the Survival of the Fittest pay-per-view from Madison Square Garden, the results of which have rocked the promotion to its very core.

    Pay-Per-Views
ICW organises pay-per-views approximately once every 5 weeks, having 10 or 11 a year. However, ICW's library of PPV themes is longer than 11, and so most PPVs aren't guaranteed to feature in the calendar every year, with the exception, that is, of four. These are the Step Up ppv, which features the final to ICW's annual semi-reality tv show of the same name, and the 3 BIG ppvs of the ICW "on-season."
The ICW "on-season" starts 5 weeks before the Survival of the Fittest ppv event (a bit like the Royal Rumble, not as insane as WWIII), runs through the Turmoil! (featuring a tag-team equivalent to the royal rumble and a showcase for tag-team wrestling in general) ppv event and ends with the premier pay per view of the promotion, Grandslam.

The 2013 Turmoil! event will take place in 5 weeks time at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, and will be the final ppv before Grandslam IX, taking place in the Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbour, Michigan.

    International Championship Council
The on-screen council of commissioners for ICW, their chairman is usually the chief authority figure on episodes of Monday Night Games. Excitingly, Michael Cole has recently been elected to that position, and debuted on-screen just last week, quickly challenging (and annoying) some fan favourites in his clamour to get the best out of the show. His ego has also been on a notable growth spurt.

    Championships
International Heavyweight Championship (AKA International Championship, Heavyweight Championship)
    ihc.png
The eponymous and premier championship of ICW, this was on the line at last night's pay-per-view in a Loser Leaves Town match. Sadly for all the underaged fans of the sport, the company's top face lost both his championship and his job at the hands of the hated Christopher Daniels.

ICW American Heavyweight Championship (AKA American Championship, U.S. Championship)
    icwa.png
Restricted to those wrestlers who hold U.S. nationality, this is what WWE '13 would class as a "minor" title in ICW. Christopher Daniels already held this belt before his victory last night, and becomes the 3rd double champion in ICW history. Under the promotions rules, he has one week to vacate either title and it is expected that he will vacate this one later on this evening on Monday Night Games.

ICW Overseas Heavyweight Championship (AKA Overseas Championship)
    icwo.png
Held by a friend of Daniels', the dastardly William Regal, this belt is restricted to wrestlers holding any other nationality. Often in the past have the American and Overseas champions feuded even though neither are eligible for the other's belt, but stipulations have been applied to force the loser to vacate their championship in some champion v champion matches. Regal is known to have a rivalry with some of the Americans on the roster, so who knows if we will see this any time soon.

ICW Super Flyweight Championship (AKA SuperFly Championship)
    icwsf.png
The championship for the lighter (<220 lbs) wrestlers of ICW, who wrestle in the "Super Fly" division. Taka Michinoku successfully defended the championship at last night's event, and is the longest serving of the current champions in ICW.

    International Tag-Team Championships
    icwtt.png
Self-explanatory! Currently held by the 1-2-3 Sparks, Hardcore Holly and X-Pac. They will be defending the title at Turmoil! in the Tag-Team Turmoil match.

    Other Prizes
The last survivor in the annual Survival of the Fittest match gets a contract for any main event of their choosing in the next 12 months. Last night, the Superstar Billy Graham released Larry Zbyszko from a bear hug over the top ropes to becomes the sole survivor. Pundits expect him to face Daniels for the International Championship at the Grandest stage of all, Grandslam, in ten weeks time.

But ten weeks in an awful long time in professional wrestling.

    Well established Stables/Teams
The Samoan Connection: Rikishi, Samu and Yokozuna (who is billed, as in the WWF, as coming from Polynesia, not Japan)
The 1-2-3 Sparks: A nod to the former gimmicks of this reformed team of experienced wrestlers, Hardcore Holly and X-Pac.
The League (of their own): Welcome to the top heel stable of ICW! Christopher Daniels, William Regal, Matt Sydal and Yoshihiro Tajiri.
Kaientai: Taka Michinoku and Shoichi Funaki. Languishing for many years in the WWF/E, this stable has finally found in America some fraction of the success they had in Japan.

ICW Monday Night Games air at 8pm every Monday night on the Lebowskilite network. Until next time, we leave you with this disturbing promotional image:

    Fusion Pro Wrestling
    Week 1

    Segment One

Fusion Pro Wrestling in 5 weeks away from its next big show, Unscripted. We are kicking off tonights show with the FPW Heavyweight Champion, Chris Benoit!

Chris comes out to a negative reaction. Fans still remember what happen two years ago in FPW, when Benoit declared he would destroy pro-wrestling.

"I know I'm not the most popular person right now, but this has never been about popularity. This company was built on the idea that you do all your talking in the ring. It's about wrestling. That's why, two years ago, I came to this company. Wrestling had destroyed everything in my life, so it was time to destroy wrestling.

Last year this company performed poorly and is on the grips of defeat, and today I vow that in 5 weeks time, you will all witness the final night of Fusion Pro Wrestling."

As the crowd boo, the music of Jimmy Jacobs hits the arena, a spotlight hits the ceiling and we see him standing in the rafters holding a mic along side Tyler Black and Kevin Sullivan.

"Bravo Chris. You know, I have heard you speak for the past two years about your plans, and we admire them sir. Allow me to introduce ourselves, we are The Age of The Fall. We are the ones that this sport forgot about, cast aside and left in the gutter. Tyler Black here is the future of this sport, but noone will give him a chance because he isn't 300 pounds or the star of a crappy reality tv show. The man to my left you know, Kevin Sullivan, a man whose life you ruined yourself. You took his love away from him, then ruined her and her families lives because of your selfish ways. I am Jimmy Jacobs, the man that will help you realize what needs to be done to actually destroy this company.

You haven't succeeded Chris, because you have only lived in your own insanity, instead of your anger. In 5 weeks time we already have an example of how hatred will be our strongest weapon, as Tyler takes on this man!"

Tyler holds up the bloody face of KENTA! They jumped the Japanese star before the show kicked off earlier!

"Join us Chris, and we will ensure that this company burns to the ground, and we clip the phoenixs wings."

Chris doesn't know what to make of the offer, but before he has a chance to respond, here comes Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat to a huge response from the crowd.

"Chris, I'm not going to waste anyones time here. I have never been known for talking, but Chris you need to snap out of it. You are a pro wrestler, perhaps the greatest pro wrestler of all time. You have built up an amazing legacy, and there is still time to save it. Perhaps the reason you haven't destroyed this company is because, deep down, you know this isn't you. You love pro wrestling, and you know it didn't cause all the hardship in your life, you did. So Chris, I want to lay down an offer to you; in 5 weeks time, you and I wrestle for that belt, and instead of destroying pro wrestling, we put on the greatest match of all time, and usher in a new age of the sport of professional wrestling. Let me know what you think next week."

Rickys music hits as Benoit stands in the ring looking back and forth between The Age of The Fall and Ricky Steamboat. Jimmy talks to his group as we go to break.

    Segment Two

    Rey Mysterio vs. Homicide

Rey comes out to the ring to a huge response. In 5 weeks time Rey will face off against The Rottweilers (Low Ki & Homicide) for the Fusion Pro Wrestling tag belts, but Rey has not revealed who his tag team partner is yet.

'Cide and Rey have a clear back and forth battle, with Rey hitting the 619. But as we goes for the finish, Low Ki jumps the crowd, kicking Rey in the head and ending the match in a DQ. The Rottweilers proceed to beat Rey around the ring, until the music of Marafuji Naoimichi hits the arena and he hits the ring for the save. Rey introduces us all to his tag partner.

    Segment Three

We are backstage as The Briscoe Brothers discuss their challange to Terry Funk and Kensuke Susaki to prove who the toughest sons of bitches are in pro wrestling. They declare that next week they will have a warm up contest; A Flah-Drink Off!

    Announced matches for Unscripted

    FPW Tag Titles:
Rey Mysterio & Marafuji Naomichi vs. The Rottweilers (Low Ki & Homicide)

The Briscoe Brothers vs. Terry Funk & Kensuke Susaki

    Tyler Black vs. KENTA

    Preview Post
Opening Promo*A promo featuring the rivalry between Christopher Daniels and the former top face of the company, and its conclusion last night where Daniels made the champion tap out to the Koji Clutch in a loser leaves town match. The theme of the promo is that Daniels is going to assume the role of the former champion. Promo also shows the return, last night, of Superstar Billy Graham, who won the Survival of the Fittest (like a Royal Rumble) Match.*
    Opening Credits
    icwmnglogo.png
Live from the Izod Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey
    Backstage Interview
Living Legend Larry Zbyszko is being interviewed about some exciting news. Larry introduces his new student in the “science of technical wrestling,” Yokozuna. (Yokozuna has been on a slightly comical losing streak of late due to his weight – often being knocked over and unable to get up again, thus being unable to answer the count of ten) Yokozuna says that he agreed to be Larry’s student to get out of the rut and maybe lose some weight, and that he really doesn’t want to have to go back to Sumo wrestling, because he hates all that Japanese food. The interviwer almost laughs at that. Rikishi and Samu come by and lend their support to their uncle and thanking Larry. The League (Christopher Daniels, William Regal, Matt Sydal, Yoshihiro Tajiri) interrupts the scene, and Daniels walks through the group carrying both of his titles to get close to the interviewer. Daniels theatrically suggests that the interviewer has been waiting for him, and asks him to proceed. The interviewer informs Daniels that he’ll be interviewed later on tonight in the ring. The League smugly moves off.
    In-Ring Segment
Chairman Michael Cole’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring with an ICW official who is carrying a bag. He talks about last night’s Pay-Per-View and pays homage to both wrestlers in the Loser Leaves Town match, but particularly congratulates Christopher Daniels on his victory. Then Cole says he is glad that the drama is over and he can start putting his mark on the company (Cole has been Chairman for about 2 weeks). To do this Cole unveils a new championship belt from the bag, but an initial interest from the crowd dies down as a crappy and cheap-looking “Monday Night Championship” in shown to them. The championship will be defended every week and will prove who is the most committed wrestler to the company, the show and the product. Cole says that the Championship will be fought for straight away and calls Yokozuna to the ring. Yokozuna’s music hits and he walks out, looking nonplussed. The Announcers speculate who his opponent will be.
Cole then calls for his opponent, and... Michael Cole’s own music hits! Cole strips off his jacket and shirt to reveal a Mr. MacMahon-esque sleeveless top on underneath, while Yokozuna looks on, still baffled and now slightly amused. The Announcers and ring staff are confused to but the bell is eventually rang for the match on Cole’s insistence.
Yokozuna v. Michael Cole (ICW Monday Night Championship)
Cole slaps Yokozuna across the belly but it has no effect. Yokozuna isn’t really reacting, he doesn’t get it. Cole hits the ropes and jumps at Yokozuna, who pushes him onto the canvas with a thud. Cole seems angry now, and climbs the turnbuckle. Announcers can’t believe what they’re seeing. Yokozuna has barely moved, and is laughing at Cole. At that moment three figures emerge from under the ring apron nearest Yokozuna and attack him from behind. They are D'Lo Brown and Tag Team Champions the 1-2-3 Sparks (Hardcore Holly and X-Pac), and their aim is to knock him to the ground, which they do, before delivering a vicious beatdown. The referee goes to signal for the bell but Cole (still on the turnbuckle) yells “Don’t you dare!”. Cole jumps and barely even hits the unconscious Yokozuna, before he and the other three turn the body over for a pin, just as Larry Zbyszko comes running down the ramp.
Michael Cole Wins by way of pinfall.
    Post-Match
Holly goes out to meet Zbyszko, and the two of them wrestle on the mats. Zbyszko has Holly in a very painful looking hold as X-Pac interferes, throwing Zbyszko against the barrier. Rikishi and Samu come running is as well while Cole goes to sit behind the announcers table to hide from the havoc he’s unleashed – he has his suit jacket back on and his belt. Yokozuna gets to his feet (with trouble) and is helped up the ramp by Samu, X-Pac having run out at the sight of Yokozuna getting up. The remaining 4 wrestlers are in the ring now brawling. The announcers label it chaos though just then Christopher Daniels’ music hits. As Daniels enters – all but the smarks are booing – Holly and D’Lo Brown are beating down on Larry Zbyszko while Rikishi has rolled out of the ring in pain. Daniels lays the ICW American Championship on the ramp and recommends that the three men in the ring wrestle for it right now. The fighting stops and Cole re-enters the ring to commission the match with belated enthusiasm. He shakes the hands of Holly and Brown as he leaves the ring for backstage, showing off his crappy make believe belt (as the face announcer calls it).
Ad Break and Promo for Grandslam PPV in 10 weeks time.
D’Lo Brown v. Hardcore Holly v. Larry Zbyszko (ICW American Championship) Basically a handicap match from the off as Holly and Brown resume their double attack on Larry Zbyszko. He comes back into the match a couple of times by managing to throw an opponent out of the ring and give a lesson in mat wrestling to the one remaining, but is invariably beaten by the numbers game when the other comes back in. Holly hits the Alabama slam on Zbyszko followed by a Lo Down from Brown who makes the pin, without interference from a content Holly. Brown is the new ICW American Champion but the crowd don’t appreciate it one bit.
D’Lo Brown wins by pinfall (on Larry Zbyszko)
    Post-Match
Yokozuna appears on the Titantron with an unconscious X-Pac backstage. He says only, “1-2-3 Sparks! I will see you at the Tag Team Turmoil Match, and I will make sure you lose those tag team titles!” The Announcers are flabbergasted by the events surrounding the first two matches tonight.
Ad Break and Promo for Turmoil! PPV in 5 weeks time.

Double Interview in the Ring The Superstar Billy Graham is invited to the ring having won the “Survival of the Fittest” match last night. He gets a reasonable pop from the crowd and flexes for them in the ring while the new International Heavyweight Champion, and, for 20 hours, Double Champion, Christopher Daniels is invited to the ring. He gets mega heat from the fans of the former top face though some smarks are cheering for him as always.
Interviewer first goes to ask Graham a question and offer congratulations but Daniels interrupts, annoyed that he isn’t being congratulated first. The interviewer then offers him congratulations. Daniels takes the mic and thanks everyone for the non-existent rapturous applause. He says he’s elated to finally hold a world championship, and also to be able to stand in front of a steroid-addled maniac like Graham and be able to officially say, “I’m better than you.” He then repeats it for the crowd too. Graham tells Daniels that he doesn’t want to hear it and neither do the fans. He’s the superstar of the business and compared to him Daniels is just a small child with a championship belt for a teddy bear. He says Daniels must think that whatever blessing he was under last night will go on forever if he’s going to step into the ring with Billy Graham and disrespect him from the off, but says that he won’t get violent as he’s here to celebrate his victory last night. Daniels sarcastically thanks Graham for informing him he won’t get violent and advises him to remain so where Daniels is concerned. He also states that he is going to dominate the company from now on and that this is just night #2 of that domination. Graham in turn mocks him for this and again warns him not to be disrespectful, and that if the two were to wrestle he would lose his championship and be nothing. Daniels jokingly suggests that Graham cash in his main event contract against Michael Cole for the Monday Night Championship. Graham asks if Daniels is calling him out. Daniels seriously suggests that Graham cash in the contract for the Grandslam PPV in 10 weeks against him for the International Championship. Graham contemplates the challenge, even bigs up how great the match would be, before asking Daniels if he really wants it. Daniels parodies the promotion of the match as being “The Greatest Superstar of Wrestling History versus The Steroid-Addicted Neanderthal who needs to get his hands on a pension”. Graham says that if Daniels continues to disrespect him, he won’t wait until Grandslam to cash in. Daniels thanks him and says its a date, asks him to leave the ring so he can continue his victorious interview. For Graham that’s the final straw and he calls Michael Cole out, “I’m using this contract opportunity tonight for the International Heavyweight Title!” Daniels looks stunned and sulks.

Cole comes out to the ring and is grabbed from behind by none other than the man he and Daniels screwed earlier, Larry Zbyszko. After Zbyszko and Cole argue off-mic, with Cole being visibly intimidated, Cole announces that Graham doesn’t have to use his contract tonight, as he is commissioning a match for the championship anyway, between Daniels and Graham ...and Zbyszko! Daniels goes crazy...
Matt Sydal (w/Tajiri) v. Shoichi Funaki (w/ Taka Michinoku)
The only non-title match of the night! Taka Michinoku last night defended his SuperFly belt against Tajiri, who’s chest is wrapped in a bandage tonight. A big pop for Kaientai as they head to the ring is mainly for Taka, who is the longest running champion in the company at present and popular with the fans. Funaki, by comparison, is still the perennial jobber, occasional interviewer.
The match sees some high-risk offence by wrestlers, and Funaki gets a particular good reaction from a headscissors takedown that sends Sydal through the ropes to the outside, followed swiftly by a plancha to the outside himself, and an inverted DDT on the mat. However, once back in the ring, Sydal takes control and delivers and aftershock before going to the turnbuckles. For minutes there on Funaki is essentially target for Sydal’s copious airborne manoeuvres from the ropes and turnbuckles. Funaki gets back in towards the end, landing an Enzuiguri and a Shawn Capture, but Sydal breaks out, delivers an enzuiguri himself and then lands the standing moonsault for the pin. Not a bad performance by Funaki but once again he finds himself on the wrong side of a pinfall.
    Matt Sydal wins by pinfall.
Backstage InterviewLarry Zbyszko is interviewed about his upcoming title match with Daniels and Graham. He says Michael Cole owes him a title shot after what he pulled off earlier in the show, which was a disgrace to wrestling.
Ad Break: Don’t sue us when you f-ck up trying this at home.

    Back-Stage
League member William Regal is in Michael Cole’s office, asking him why he put Christopher Daniels in a triple-threat match, and that it didn’t seem very fair to a new champion. Cole tells Regal that if there was more loyalty shown, and he didn’t have to worry about his own employees jumping him in the arena, perhaps things might be more comfortable for the League. Cole also tells Regal to stop questioning his authority, because he’s the goddamned boss, goddamnit!
Main Event: Christopher Daniels (c) v. Billy Graham v. Larry Zbyszko (International Heavyweight Championship)
The contrasting styles of these three men make for an interesting back and to between them, usually as one-on-one encounters with one person out of the ring (i.e., WWE style). The first near-end comes when Graham gets Zbyszko in a bear-hug, only for Daniels to launch himself off the ropes to land on Zbyszko and execute a sleeper hold. Graham falls backwards after some seconds of this and all three wrestlers hit the canvas hard. In the minutes that follow, Zbyszko leads against both wrestlers, concentrating on their backs. Sometime later another near-conclusion comes as Daniels dominates Zbyszko in the ring, landing the reverse STO and locking in the Koji Clutch. Zbyszko powers out of the move only to roll out of the ring in pain. Daniels then goes looking for Graham and attempts an Asai Arabian Press on him to the outside. Graham however is playing possum and Daniels simply slams into the announcers table. Graham enters the ring to where Zbyszko has returned and delivers an airplane slam. Daniels gets to the apron only for Graham to bounce him off, again into the announcers table, before delivering a knee drop from the top rope to Zbyszko and pinning for the win. Graham celebrates enthusiastically, pointing at Daniels and shouting at him. Daniels meanwhile is still on the floor from hitting the announcer table the second time, and looks up alarmed to see Graham celebrating with the championship belt!
Billy Graham wins championship by pinfall (on Larry Zbyszko)
    Vignette
Post-programme promo “interrupts” the broadcast to show a dark empty arena with a ring piled up with skulls. A voice says “The Darkness will Rise...” and this appears on the screen as text before the promo ends, and with it, the show.

I'M TOP OF THE WORLD MA! I'm the world champion! And with no thanks to any of the marks sitting in the crowd, I've done this by myself. I've been stealing the show for YEARS and not once was I recognised as champion material but now I have been thanks to Paul Heyman! Seeing as I'm the champion, and in the spirit on "Anarchy", I won't be defending my title on PPV on TV or houseshows! I'll make my own rules and this is one of them!
Out walks Paul Heyman (Met to E-C-DUB Chants):
Dolph you were given the prestige of holding the nWo title so that you could be the reigning and defending champion. If you're not going to compete, then I'll have to strip you of that honour. AND THAT is one of my rules!

Ziggler thinks about it and replies:
FINE THEN! I'll compete, but I'm choosing the contestants in the No.1 contenders match later tonight.

Heyman nods to Ziggler. Ziggler will make his choice over the course of the evening.

    Lucha_VaVoom.jpg

Lucha Va Voom Wrestling was founded in the earlier 1950’s. It all began when masked luchadors from the border in Mexico joined to meet their hard hitting Americans counterparts in California every year. It is believe Lucha Va Voom is the first ever example of cross promotional work in the wrestling business. Countless characters have graced the 2V Lucha ring over the years. Many greats have come and gone over the years but the one thing that has been constant, is the fact that, year in year out, the management always pride themselves in promoting pure entertainment and wrestling. Heritage of all the styles are showcased in 2V Lucha. That said, in recent years the unit has shed much of it’s grá for the mat/lucha technicians and turned more towards creating a power house of unadulterated “sport entertainment”.

Truly a worldwide company 2V Lucha tours globally throughout the year(a visit to Britain shall happen in a few weeks) .In early July every year the federation returns to the company’s heart land of the South West States for its flagship show Viva los Lucha. This year, the excitement builds as the countdown to Viva los Lucha’s inaugural Las Vegas show has begun big time. Viva los Lucha XIII from the MGM Grand is destined to be a spectacular show but there are five weeks of BeatTV to get through to see who will be fighting who? What title shall be contended? And what sort of matches will be contested at Sin City’s most anticipated debut since Elvis.

2VL produce roughly 10 PPVs a year. The BeatTV programme airs weekly every Monday on networks throughout the world. Since its strong push towards a sport entertainment audience the company have promoted a Friday night entertainment show on MTV.- T.F.I.F.F- (work that one out)This is a Live show with chat and wrestling. It involves much interaction between wrestling, celeb guests, expert commentators and even audience members. GM John Laurinaitis has commented that the show is too “Jersey Shore –esque” for his liking but company owners have told him not in interfere with this ratings hit.

In recent weeks the 2VL World Champion TAFKA Goldust has started his own X-rated internet show called “The Fabulous Mess”. Much like its presenter its remit seems to be to produce the most revolting irreverent show imaginable. Twisted yet compelling viewing.

    Championships

    wc1.JPG
    The 2VL World Heavyweight Championship.

The legendary title. In place since the company’s conception, the current holder is the Artist Formally Known as Goldust. He beat Bruiser Brody in a loser leaves town match at the most recent PPV “Eastbound and Down” in Alabama at the beginning of last month. Since then, the bizarre one has brought down in a free-fall the prestige and honour of the title. In his first moments of gaining the title he made a statement which many of the Old-Schoolers deemed massively grotesque – He sprayed in large pink letters “F*ck Lucha” on the title. The fascinating character has, without doubt, p*ssed on Stan Hansen’s cornflakes. A feud that is flaming as opposed to simmering.
He aims to put the “Lady GaGa circus act” in his place which in his eyes is far far away from this company steeped in history.

    29.jpg

    wcwus1mid.jpg
    The 2VL US Championship.

Held by Kerry Von Erich. A true gentleman who has through no fault of his own has really placed a rather large bee in GM John Laurinaitis’ bonnet. A man of the people, he is everything Laurinatis and his University aren’t. Pure skill, God-like popularity in Texas and understated intelligence. With the violent train wreak that is TAFKA Goldust being an unalterable entity the powers that be may impose their greedy quest for gold on young Von Erich.

    smcktag.jpg
    The 2VL Tag Team Championship

The fan favourites Rhythm and Blues (Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine) have set up their own little Honky-a-Meter with their near year long reign as tag champs. Old habits die hard and when Honky arrived in 2VL he really failed to enamour himself with the Lucha Va Voom fans. He was cool yeah but unfortunately he was still cocky and still bad. It was only when he reunited with his old friend Greg Valentine that the people saw passed the façade of cocky badness. The bumbling duo were so hard not to cheer. They still used their guitars as weapons but with this new found repore with the fans it is no longer deemed villainous. Having dusted off business with Laurinatis’ lackeys of Chris Nowinski and Shane Douglas it is unknown who is next to try stop The Honk-a-Meter in 2VL.

    DSC06566.JPG
    The 2VL TV Title

It was been announced at a recent post conference, to celebrated the company’s recent floating on the NY stock exchange a Television title will be debuted on the 11th of June edition of BeatTV. No further comment has been released on how the title will be rewarded.

    The 2VL Rouges Gallery
The University has been central to a lot of 2VLs most recent workings. Although the faction seemed to have lost a sense of direction and power, with a pack-like mentality it will be hard not to see the group reemerge into prominence. The intellectuals need to row in behind the GM to get their paternity back ruling the roost.
    John Laurinaitis
    Shane “The Dean” Douglas
    David Otunga
    Chris Nowinski
Dynamite Kid & British Bulldog are due to make their debut at 2VL’s return to the UK next week. Little is known of their intentions. But fans worldwide are very excited to see what their hometown boys have in store for the many worried people around 2VL.
Vampiro has been a very grave figure in the last few weeks. On a losing streak and firing only at half rate. On the latest edition of T.F.I.F.F Shane Douglas goaded him about his recent form which vexed the Lucha legend. The red that appeared in his eyes on the show was reminiscent of the grim reaper that used to reek havoc wherever he went.

Eric Bischoff comes down the ramp to a lukewarm reception to start off the the first edition of this new promotion that has come from nowhere to sign some major talent that has made them the envy of many competing promotions. The fans seem skeptical of his motivations. He has the look of a man who has just won the lottery with a lot of talent at his disposal and him supposedly been given free reign by the mysterious owner who has bankrolled this new promotion. They have amassed a stellar opening night crowd of 18,000 that was probably more down to the selection of the Colonial Life Arena as the venue as the South Carolina crowd has flocked to see former WCW great Sting and how the new promotion will incorporate some of their new talent. As Bischoff makes his way to the ring, Thursday Night Brawls can get underway.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I have been made GM of the LCW and taken control of the inaugural Thursday Night Brawls, I know you have all been eagerly anticipating the opening run of the promotion with the culmination of the inaugural pay-per-view at Crusade in a couple of months time.

The layout of the company is simple. We have 3 belts that will signify the best in their class throughout the organisation. For the LCW tag team championship there will be a tournament over the next couple of weeks, beginning tonight with a match between the Dudley Boyz, who I personally requested to join back together and the team of R-Truth and Konnan

For the Lightweight Championship you must be under a weight of 225lbs and I myself have chosen the man to start with this title, it will be AJ Styles who I would like to invite down to the ring

Styles' music hits and the fans are clearly on the side of the former TNA stalwart. He thanks Bischoff for the chance to become a figurehead for the future of the company and hugs him. Bischoff speaks again.
Ok so you have now met your Lightweight champion. It's time now to introduce your LCW Heavyweight Champion. He is someone who is a bonafide legend of wrestling and I doubt anyone here will dispute the decision to put the belt on him

Sting's music hits and the crowd goes wild. He makes his was down the ramp to huge applause and the crowd is clearly hot tonight. He enters the ring but Bischoff does not look happy to see him. He tells the crowd in crude terms to shut up and wants to know what Sting is doing in the ring.
I'm here Eric because I'm not going to let you flush another company down the toilet. The NwO are not here to save you from the truth this time. Picking champions Eric? Championships are won, not given. I signed up with this company because I thought things would be different but clearly you are going to make the same mistakes...

Sting is cut off after Styles attacks him from behind. Styles puts Sting down but Sting fights back and takes control of Styles. Someone runs down the ramp, it's professional wrestling hall of famer Lou Thesz! He enters the ring and takes down Sting from behind and begins a savage beating as the boos erupt throughout the arena. These look like clean punches and Sting is getting pummeled. Styles gets up and he and Thesz continue the beating. Fergal Devitt and Lex Luger run down to the aid of Sting. Devitt and Styles square off and Devitt comes out on top intially it seems. Luger caught Thesz by surprise and they begin to brawl outside the ring, Sting looks bad though and the two men know this and quickly break away to pull him out of the ring and up the ramp. Bischoff grabs a mic again. He looks a bit ruffled but there is a mischievous smile on his face.
Ladies and Gentlemen, your LCW Heavyweight champion. Lous Thesz

As Styles, Thesz and Bischoff end the segment congratulating each other in the middle of the ring they get huge heat from the crowd. A crazy opening segment to this new promotion.

Backstage we see paramedics working on Sting, he seems to be having trouble breathing and they put him onto a stretcher and into the back of an ambulance as Luger and Devitt look on. The main event match for the night is announced as Luger and Devitt against Lou Thesz and AJ Styles.

The opening match is Titus O'Neil against Scotty 2 Hotty. This is in anticipation of the tag team tournament match between the Prime Time Players and Too Cool in the next show. Before the match Titus says he's going to show how superior he is to his opponent. Titus wins comfortably after a 10 minute powerful showing with little offense from Scotty 2 Hotty.

The tag team tournament match is next with the Dudleyz facing off against R-Truth and Konnan. The Dudleyz cut a promo talking of how they should have been awarded the title because of them being the best tag team ever. The crowd responds negatively. R-Truth and Konnan thus come out to applause. The Dudleyz win a 20 minute close match to progress to the final of the tag team tournament.

As buildup for the main event continues we are told that Sting is in stable condition in hospital but will probably not be ready for action for a couple of weeks. A vignette of Jack Swagger talking to Eric Bischoff asking why he doesn't have a match tonight airs. Bischoff says he hasn't seen enough to be sure Swagger fits into the company as Swagger was signed before Bischoff took over. Swagger walks off looking unhappy.

Darren Young w/Titus O'Neil beats Grandmaster Sexay /w Scotty 2 Hotty in another buildup match for next week. Young's assault continues after the match and Titus O'Neil joins in after knocking down Scotty. Scotty recovers and makes the save as the Prime Time Players retreat.

The main event is up next and it again cuts to a vignette in Eric Bischoff's office. He's on the phone with the owner who is clearly not happy about what has happened with Sting. Bischoff assures him that it's under control and he will tell Thesz to calm himself. The camera pans to Thesz and Styles beside Bischoff and they all burst out laughing.

Devitt and Luger make their entrances. They talk about how disgraceful it is that Sting was assaulted in the way he was and nobody as dangerous as Thesz should be allowed to compete. Devitt talks about Styles saying that he has sold out his reputation for the title.

Thesz and Styles make their entrances and the match begins. Devitt and Styles begin the match and after a couple of minutes Styles is in control. Thesz isn't being tagged in though. He seems confident Styles can deal with Devitt and he's being proved right. Devitt however pushes Styles off long enough for a tag to Luger who immediately overpowers Styles and pushes Thesz off the apron. Luger has turned the tables in this match and looks in control of Styles. Thesz is attempting to get into the ring but the referee restrains him. Luger has Styles in the human torture rack but the ref's back is turned. Jack Swagger comes out from under the ring. He pulls Devitt off the apron and gets in the ring and low blows Luger and is gone back under the ring before the referee turns around. Styles is able now to get across to Thesz to make the tag and Thesz hits Luger with a perfect powerbomb and pins him for the win. He continues the assault after the match but Devitt is able to pull Luger away before any real damage is done. Styles and Swagger join Thesz in the ring. Eric Bischoff joins them and they again begin to congratulate each other.

Thesz grabs a mic and proclaims himself the best fighter in the world and that nobody will be able to beat him. Whether in the ring or anywhere else the result will be the same, look at what happened to Sting. Sting shows up on the titantron in his hospital bed and proclaims that he has been told that he will be able to return to action before Crusade to huge applause. He also says he just got a call from the owner that he will be testing Thesz's theory for the title at the PPV in a few weeks time. The show ends with Bischoff and Thesz looking bewildered in the ring.

Welcome to Whitney Houston Memorial Diabhal Dome. If you like men touching other men you are in the right place. The king of humour has returned. The man they call the Diabhal is back, and he’s off meth (I promise). The crowd are a bit meh, having been burnt since the most almighty of thrashings was dealt to some cats in a Leinster final. But nonetheless they shat themselves when he walked down the ramp.

“Ciúnas!!” a deir sí. The boy done good has an announcement. Since the Dream Team-style bus explosion killing all previous members of the roster there’s a new gang. BUT WAIT!!!! Out comes Mr. José. The camera pans to Steve Staunton who tells anybody who’ll listen that he’s not as bad as Trap. The Special Wan has an announcement. No, Gerard. C is not returning. He’s giving Diabhal a p45 as the new owners are a bunch of turf tycoons from Mayo. Security escorts Diabhal away before he gets his knob out for one last hurrah. José announces that there’ll be a battle royal to crown the new Gráinne Seoige World Heavyweight Title. Off he goes to watch Mayo lose another All-Ireland final.

    Jose-Mourinho-001.jpg

Out comes CM Punk. He’s not a fan of the Whestern capital. He calls all Galwegians a useless bunch of krusties with VD. This libellous accusation gets a stern reaction. He tells us he’ll be the next big thing. Out to defend the home of Connemara is Sheamus. He claims his Granny cut turf in Athenry. Samoa Joe waddles out. He has a knife and fork and threatens to eat the entire world. Finally Mark Henry comes out. The ring collapses, which indicates how big an epidemic obesity is in modern Irlande. They’ll all be out again in a few paragraphs.

Two bais pop out. Tis Tommy Dreamer and Raven. They’re happy as Larry and following the announcement from Robbie Rogers, they come out of the closet. This brings out known homophobe and recent deadman Mike Awesome. He says that God hates quare folk and out comes Westboro Baptist fanatic Sabu. A no-Diesel Queen match is announced next week as security keeps them apart.

Kevin Nash decides to make a new title for himself. He claims he’s the most mental man in all of Connacht. BANG! He gots shot by Antonio Inoki. Nurses take a break from complaining about their pay to fire him off into an ambulance.

    p_31-1Ambulance_2.jpg

Tis the big one. The new champion will be crowned tonight with a Buckfast bottle just one of the cheap prizes on offer for the winner. The Mexicools are thrown out so quickly they’ll break the Redbull jumping guy’s record thingy. Sabu and Awesome eliminate team David Norris. We’re left with four finalists. Punk, Henry, Joe and Sheamo. Punk knocks Joe off and the Samoan is not happy, and quite racist too. Sheamo eliminates Henry. Just as Sheamo is about to win the gold the lights go out. When the ESB bill is paid both men are out cold, not because the gas bill is in arrears either. We’ll have to wait till next week (or whenever I’m arsed to write another one) to see what happens.

    SEGMENT

    Yo It’s Me It’s Me It’s DDP

Commissioner Diamond Dallas Page is in the ring to welcome us to another show. Two security guards stand behind him holding the world championship title. Page brings up events leading to the vacating of the title belt, and tells us that tonight is a new beginning. Tonight we shall have a new world champion, as every member of the roster is invited to take part in an over the top battle royal for the title.

The announcers are excited and hype up the battle royal and potential champions.

    MATCH
    Tag Team title Match

The Twin Towers v Rico Constino and Charlie Haas
Boss man And One Man Gang come to the ring, serious faces, looking to regain the title they lost several months ago.

YOUUUU LOOOK SOOOOO .... GOOD TO ME ...

Rico appears first, tag belt around his waist, glorious makeup on face. He poses upon his mini catwalk, and introduces his partner for the night ... HAASKEEM, THE AFRICAN DREAM, out comes Charlie Haas, yellow moomoo, blue hat, and fake black beard.

Gang is freaking out in the ring, he does not like this one bit. Rico interviews Haaskeem, who imitates Akeem perfectly, mocking his roots from deepest darkest Africa. Having milked the comedy gold Rico and Haaskeem make their way to the ring. The ref takes their belts and the match begins. The match is entertaining as Rico and Haas use their technical abilities and speed to counter The Twin Towers brute force. At one point Boss Man is knocked down and Rico mounts him, riding him like a horse, and smacking him on the posterior several times. Constantino and Haas seem to have the upper hand, the towers getting more and more frustrated. Akeem is able to irish whip Haas into his corner, Boss Man takes advantage whacking Haas with the nightstick. Unfortunately this is unseen by the ref, Rico tries to tell the ref, but the ref is having none of it, and with this distraction Akeem and Boss Man double team haas. Rico finally gets past the ref to save his partner, but is taken down quickly by a nightstick shot to the head. The ref immediately DQ’s the team. But they’re not finished. The attack on Rico continues unabated for several uncomfortable moments until he is left bloodied and battered in the ring. The Twin Towers are finally forced out of the ring by officials, and paramedics see to the fallen champions.

The commentators describe the decimation of Constantino and Haas ... showing highlights of the match / destruction and footage of Haas recovering and walking out of the ring as Rico is stretchered to the back.

    SEGMENT

    The arena goes black.

A lone voice is singing ... “Leaning .... Leaning ... Safe and secure from all alarms ... Leaning ... “
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91IAwfdRX6A

A sole spotlight shines down onto a suited figure at the top of the walkway, he slowly and deliberately makes his way to the ring. The announcers recognise the man ... it’s Nikita Koloff! We haven’t seen him for two years, since he injured his back!

Nikita makes his way to the centre of the ring, the houselights come on again. We see that Koloff has a mic in one hand and a book in the other. He speaks, in clear English, with an American accent...

“Two years ago .... I was a broken man... my body was broken ... but worse than that ... my spirit was broken... I was living a sad and sinful life ... pretending I was a Russian in the ring ... and drinking like a Russian outside it ...”
Koloff goes on to describe his hard partying times as he was on his wrestling high ... and then the fall after his back was injured two years ago ... the sad state he ended up in, broken body at the bottom of a bottle.

“But then ... one man came to me .. he came and he shown a light upon me and my soul .. he lifted me up, and showed me a path to redemption. As my spirit regained strength, so did my body, the pain faded, and the light shown. I have returned to the CCW to spread the word of my lord, and to help rid the place of the deviant lifestyles that are corrupting the spirits of those competing and watching.

I am here for your good.

    And I am not alone.”

The houselights come down again, the single spotlight hits Nikita, and Leaning plays again as he makes his way from the ring, and leaves ... boos ringing out all around him.

    Match 2

    Chris Kanyon
    V
    The Junk Yard Dog

    Pan Continental Championship Match

Kanyon, Pan Continental Champion, the self proclaimed Most Valuable Player, makes his way to the ring, booed by the crowd. His reception is a stark contrast to JYD’s entrance, this man is beloved by the crowd.

The announcers hype each wrestler, and point out that even though they are wrestling now, they are still eligible to wrestle in the battle royal, should they so wish.

The match is a good one, as JYD brings his classic brawling against Kanyon’s all round skills. Kanyon fearing an out of out loss on his record goes for the count out and tries to leave the ringside area, but JYD is after him and forces him back in the ring before the count reaches 10. Not to be defeated so easily Kanyon decides to get himself disqualified, by striking JYD with a chair. JYD is unfazed by the chair strike, but ref has had enough of Kanyon’s antics and calls for the bell. JYD wins the match, but Kanyon keeps the belt.

    We return from ad break

IT’s time for the Battle Royale

Most of the roster are already in the ring, we are waiting on the final few entrants. First it’s Harley Race, the hard drinking veteran and fan favourite. Tough as nails he makes his way to the ring and eyeballs his rivals. He shares a few words with Junk Yard Dog and Sergeant Slaughter. Next into the ring it’s Rob Van Dam, he gets a great reception from the spectators, climbing one of the turnbuckles and doing his R-V-P sign, with the swarms of fans chanting along. Next Leaning starts and Nikita Koloff comes to the ring, wearing a black gown with a stylised white cross on the back. Finally our last entrant appears ... and he’s a sexy boy ... it’s HBK, Shawn Michaels!
The arena erupts as Michaels makes his way to the ring, coming down from a zip wire, ever the show off.

As soon as HBK is ready, the match begins and a mass brawl ensues. One by one the numbers of wrestlers dwindle. At one stage Sergeant Slaughter eliminates Masahiro Chono, and Sarge is eliminated by Nikita Koloff quickly afterwards. However, as Slaughter makes his way backstage Chono and The Great Muta attack him, punishing him for having eliminating Chono. The match continues as Slaughter is seen to by medics (who have had a busy night) and stretchered to the back.

Finally we are down to the last four wrestlers ... Shawn Michaels, RVD, Harley Race, and Nikita Koloff. Michaels seems to be down in one corner of the ring, as Race, Koloff and RVD are brawling amongst each other.

    The Lights go off.

    They come back on again.

In the middle of the ring stands a white figure.

    IT’s MORDECAI!

Is this what Koloff meant when he said he wasn’t alone?!

The announcers are astonished ... but as Mordecai wasn’t in the ring when the match started, he’s not able to win the belt .. but it does give Koloff an advantage.

The fearless RVD reacts first and confronts Mordecai, but is met with a flurry of punches. All of a sudden Mordecai has RVD on his back and dispatches him outside the ring with a crucifix power bomb!

HBK is still down as Race attacks Koloff and Mordecai, but he is beaten back by the former Russian and his fresh ally. Race suffers a beat down before Koloff and Mordecai eliminate him.

HBK is back on his feet.

But what’s this ... Mordecai looks at Koloff ... Koloff nods ... and eliminates himself ... Mordecai raises HBK’s hand as Nikita grabs the belt and returns to the ring, he hands it to Mordecai, who presents it to Michaels! The lights go down... a lone spotlight shines down on the three men in the ring, who raise each other’s arms in victory ... “leaning” blares over the speakers ... and the spotlight goes off for a moment, leaving the screen black, and with that the first show ends.

Big Show: Absolutely not! How dare you say that? Maybe they just wanted to get rid of Bret Hart once and for all, I don't know. Now get out of my way.

Big Show pushes the interviewer into the wall and walks off.

    EL GENERICO vs KEVIN STEEN
Before the match we see a recap of last week when Kevin Steen walked off and left El Generico to face the Road Warriors by himself, this angers Generico who attacks Steen from the off and looks like he is set for the win until Steen hits him with a low blow that the ref does not see, Steen takes full advantage and hit's his finisher F-Cinq for the win.

    Draft Week One

Opening Segment: Joseph Park comes out to a big reaction to the crowd in the O2 arena in Dublin. He says he is no longer a lawyer and no longer a big time wrestler because he is now “GM of FWC” . He is here to announce that there will be a 4 way elimination match tonight to crown the new FWC Champion and it will feature Edge vs Chris Jericho vs Jeff Hardy vs James Storm. But he wants to start things off with a bang in a tag team match and Park will be keeping a special eye on this match.

    Match #1:
Kofi/Sin Cara vs Kenny King/Lance Storm
Great opening match with all 4 men showing their skills on the opening match of FWC Impact . Kofi and Cara started off in control until King would grab Cara’s leg while he was attempting a springboard dropkick . Both King and Storm would work on Cara’s leg , which would eventually lead to Storm locking in the Single Leg Boston Crab , but Cara would somehow reverse it and tag into Kofi . Kofi would clear house and was about to hit storm with the trouble in paradise but King would once again get involved and allowed Storm to counter it into a Northern Light Suplex for a close 2 count , King would tag himself which would lead to confusion between both King and Storm but this allowed Kofi to take advantage and hit King with Trouble in Paradise for the win

Winners: Kofi Kingston and Sin Cara

After the match there would be words between Storm and King which lead to Storm pushing King to the floor and walking away

    In Ring Segment:
Chris Harris enters the arena to a lot of “Who Are Ya’s” and “We Want Braden Walker” . He says he is sick of all this heckling against him , asking people what he did wrong but know one listens to him . But he is here to make an Impact and he wants to show that he is just as good as his former tag team partner who he carried him for their entire AMW career (Lots of Boo’s). So he calls out any “so called superstar” in the back to step up to the “Wildcat Chris Harris. Park comes up on the tron and says he is hoping that Harris will bring his A-Game because he has a perfect opponent for him........................ABYSS

    Match #2

    Abyss vs. Chris Harris
Very quick squash match with Harris not being able to prepare for the match as Abyss hit him with the Black Hole Slam, ended with Abyss saying he will be watching the World Heavyweight Championship match later on tonight

    Backstage Segment:
We see Robbie E and Big Rob on the way to the ring with “The List”
In Ring Segment: Robbie and Big Rob are in the ring complaining that he is shocked that there are so many Irish trying their best to get onto the list but sadly he will never let any of them on it because he doesn’t want it to lose all its credibility just like the Irish rugby team in the last 2 matches of the 6 Nations cup (Chorus of booooooos) . He also goes onto say that there are people over here clearly ripping off his jersey shore show and its called Tallifornication or something????? All there is here is rain , recession and Coppers ! Which is funny since all the girls in coppers are cheap or wet for people like myself? Although i just pass them onto Big Rob over here since ya gotta help a bro out.
This brought out Party Marty for their match

    Match# 3
    Robbie E vs Party Marty
Comedic match with Robbie getting out wrestled by Marty until Big Rob would trip up Marty and all Robbie to gain control but the crowd were starting to get behind Marty as he started to make a comeback but once again Big Rob would get involved but this time the ref would see him a send him to the back as Robbie pleaded with the ref this allowed Marty to get a quick roll up for the win

    Winner: Party Marty

    Main Event:
    Match #4
Edge vs Chris Jericho vs Jeff Hardy vs James Storm
Match started off with all 4 men brawling with each other and a trying to get a quick pinfall and elimination . It eventually broke down to Edge and Hardy in the ring , but as both men were battling each other Edge would seem to land on his foot in a bad way and rolled out of the ring (Medics would come down to check on him) . This then turned into an impromptu 3 way match now as Hardy , Jericho and Storm battled it out. As it looked like Jericho was gonna eliminate Hardy as he locked in the Walls of Jericho , Storm would hit the last call superkick on Jericho and followed it up with a cover for the 3 count

    Jericho Eliminated

Jericho started to walk up the isle but as he looked behind him he seen Storm set Hardy up for another last call superkick and hit it , Jericho ran back down to the ring and hit Storm with the Codebreaker and locked in the Walls as the refs tried to get him off Storm as the crowd boo’d Jerichos actions . Eventually both storm and hardy would get back onto there feet and try to eliminate each other and both come very close numerous times , but as Storm had Hardy up with the eye of the storm hardy would counter it into a twist of fate followed up with a swanton bomb for the win and the championship!!!!

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR-hFI4ksT0QacCiSIzQ8uahiUjBsUqeadRPQQWMn7ZL4Tu5u6Alg

But as jeff was celebrating Edge would sneak back into the ring and hit a spear on Hardy and make the cover and officially become the new FWC World Heavyweight Champion . As the show went off the air the crowd started chanting “Bull**** Bull****”

    PWF Intensity Episode 2!!!

A review is shown of the previous week's events:

Bret Hart was fired after failing to gain his no.1 contendership after the Shield (Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns) attacked Bret in a match against the Big Show.

    The Rock insulted the fans.

Heath Slater refused to wrestle as his rider demands were not met.

    Muhammed Hassan attacked Val Venis.

The Shield attacked Mick Foley in a match against The Big Show.

    Intensity intro plays.

Commentator: Hello and welcome to Montreal, Canada for PWF Intensity.

Mick Foley's music hits. He enters to cheers.

    5825612.jpg

Commentator: Mick Foley coming out, let's see what he has to say about last week's events.

As Mick is about to speak a large "We Want Bret" chant goes out.

Commentator: The Montreal crowd cheering for their Canadian hero, but I can tell you there is no chance of their demands being met.

Mick: We all wish Bret was here. But thanks to The Shield, its not possible. Just like due to them, I lost to the Big Show last week. How interesting is it that the Shield interfered in two matches here in the PWF, helping The Big Show both times? I've taken more than a few shots to the head in my time, but even my messed up brain can tell that clearly The Big Show is involved with the Shield somehow. So Dean, Roman, Big Show; why didn't you come out here and we'll deal with this the old-fashioned way.

Sierra! Hotel! India! Echo! Lima! Delta! SHIELD!!

The Shield come out and walk through the crowd.

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTlgY-WKkIX7WitbxbNk-hvZ8kEa8lMJXUBeP5n4fDNUxDfz55xbw

Dean: It's about justice. The Big Show deserves his title match against The Rock; thats just the way it is. We helped get Bret Hart out of the PWF; he doesn't deserve to be here. And you, Mick; you ruined wrestling; a whole generation of wrestlers thought they had to throw themselves off a great height to entertain the crowd, putting their lives and careers at risk. It's not going to happen to us! This is about justice for a whole generation of wrestlers.

The Montreal crowd boos. Then Dean and Roman attack Mick.

Commentator: This is a gang attack.

All of a sudden, the Quake Shake hits on the titantron.

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQoqSgZmZPX2vhK9RXTjtddDBXxJ0v1VhyQm3OeVvakZmPo8yBroA

Commentator: It's Earthquake & Typhoon making the save! Dean and Roman exit the ring and back through the crowd. Earthquake and Typhoon help Mankind to stand up and now they are standing tall with Mankind in the ring!!

    After a break.."Well, it's the Big Show"

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTHP5odpRmp6Yb5EHxMlaP7Ivd0jMNF8SkIlo1lhgP4PppLoigxKQ

Big Show: I wanna re-iterate what I said last week, I ain't got nothing to do with the Shield.

The Big Show defeated Viscera after a WMD.

    ............................................................................

    Val Venis' music hits.

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR6sVnTs0cWCC6gD8iMBxlL7byKoyIqdKyrH5Tu1vdSK_fL8vqJ

Val Venis: Hello ladies. You know its appropriate that we are in Montreal because if you play your cards right with the Big Valbowski, we'll be screwing and jobbing all night long.

    Muhammad Hassan' music hits.

Commentator: Well this is something of a grudge match, after Hassan attacked Val Venis last week. We still don't know why though.

    Muhammad_Hassan.jpg

Hassan: Let me ask you something, Val have you ever had sex before marriage?

    Commentator: Is he serious?

    Venis: What do you think?

Hassan: You represent all that is wrong with you infidels, non-believers. You are amoral and you anger God with your actions. I will use God's strength to convince you who the true power is!

Hassan and Venis wrestle for around five minutes.

Commentator: Wait a minute...who is that. Is it?

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTnun7--tyZi30u93mrqIae95Re6jlZnYOBsYkha1MplPdOJxTfpQ

Commentator: Yes, it's Marc Mero! Marvellous Marc Mero; we haven't seen him in the PWF before. And he's after Val Venis; TKO!!!! Why is he...oh wait a minute he's got Muhammed Hassan as well. TKO!!!!! Marc Mero standing tall. And he's holding up a copy of the bible. What the hell is going on????????

    .....................................................................

    "It's the two man band"

Commentator: Up next, is a tag team title match between the 2-man Band and The Natual Disasters. We seen last week; that success has gone to the head of the PWF Tag-Team Champions. Heath Slater refused to come out as his rider demands were not met. And it looks like we will have to wait again. Well, here comes Jinder Mahal at least.

    cc3b3pia-de-jinder-mahal.jpg

Mahal: I would like to ask for everyone here to give more money to charity, particularly to people in the third world. Now you might wonder why I don't give more money to charity myself. Well, the reason is that I just bought a big house in Florida and I can't afford to give money to other people. Plus the government keeps increasing taxes on my earnings. But you people, ordinary middle-class Canadians and Americans watching from home; you are the key.

    The crowd boos.

    Commentator: What hypocrisy.

Mahal: Now Heath has had a bit of a bad day, so I want you all to be nice to him. It's not easy being a successful rockstar, as well as a Tag-team champion, so I want you all to have a bit of empathy, as he's very sensitive.

Commentator: Well here comes Heath. And the crowd are not being very sensitive.

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRBkKywger4iNIZGz2zoJU6-xxz1zcmOZ_3qERRvcS6kQ-_Gjt6

Heath is going crazy at the crowd booing him.

Heath: Security, get those two people out of here, I don't like this sign.

Commentator: Heath must think he's Axl Rose or something.

Heath: You know what, I don't need this. I'm out of here.

    Natural Disasters music hits.

Commentator: Oh, but here's the Natural Disasters; and Earthquake and Typhoon are attacking the two-man band. Looks we will have this tag-team titles match afterall.

    .................................................................

Commentator: The Rock turned his back on the fans last week. Let's see what the PWF champion has to say for himself this week.

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSey-4wesdmvFo4kvgtujtUasdLOKrDHmTWpuI_-1xPIcFeGrYq

The Rock: Finally the Rock has come back to shut you Canadian clowns up.

    Booooooo

The Rock: You might be wondering what this is all "a-boot", or perhaps you don't get that the Rock has that....je ne sais quoi. Well shut the hell up, jabronis. This is a great time for The Rock. Not only is the Rock the PWF champion, but no longer does he have to listen to Bret Hart go on....and on...and on about how's the best there ever is, the best there was or the best there ever will be. Because one thing is for sure, Bret Hart, that roody poo candy ass, ain't coming back to annoy The Rock or the millions and millions of the The Rock's fans. If ya smeeeeeeeeeeelllllllll.......

Bret Hart's music hits and the crowd goes crazy.

Commentator: Is it? Could it be? Is Bret Hart here? Looks at The Rock's face - he's shocked!! But still no sign of the hitman. Wait a minute.....

All of a sudden The Rock starts laughing and the Montreal crowd has been fooled once again, like Shawn Michaels fooled them in 2005. The Rock starts laughing.

    Commentator: This is wrong!

The Rock: Hehe....you people are so....

All of a sudden The Rock is attacked from behind.

Commentator: Wait a minute....it's him. Bret Hart!! He's here afterall. Listen to this crowd. The Hitman is back!! Where did he come from. And...Sharpshooter...Bret has the sharpshooter on The Rock. Showing The Rock how it's supposed to be done.

    Bret_Hart_Sharpshooter.jpg

Wait a minute here comes the president Gorilla Monsoon, the man who fired Bret Hart, he's outraged. Bret is not supposed to be here. And now it's the Shield again...Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. Bret Hart finally lets go of the sharpshooter...and he's off back through the crowd. The Rock is lying flat in the middle of the ring. See you next week!!

    10 Months ago........

Rowdy Roddy Piper was the reigning defending World Heavyweight Champion. A Championship won in controversial circumstances, while the referee was knocked to the outside Pipers used a chloroform soaked towel (supplied by Paul Orndorff) to knockout his opponent and when the referee was revived he found Piper with his signature sleeper hold locked in.

The fans in attendance instantly turned on the one time fan favourite and over the next few months Piper would revel in the hate and continue to take any shortcut he could to retain his title.

GM Jesse ‘The Governing Body’ Ventura was sick of Pipers ways and the night after Hiroshi Tanahashi won the annual No 1 contenders tournament Piper and Orndorff tried to attack Tanahashi during an in ring interview only for Ventura to stop Piper in his tracks. Tired of Pipers actions he threw a major obstacle in Pipers way – he brought in a special enforcer – he brought in a man with History of upsetting Piper and Orndorff's schemes – he brought in the Greatest – Muhammad Ali.

At the High Fly Flow PPV Champion Roddy Piper would face off v Hiroshi Tanahashi w Muhammad Ali as the special referee.

The match itself was a cracker and with Ali around Orndorff's attempted involvement ended up with a quick right leaving him spread on the floor. Piper couldn’t get the 1-2-3 on Tanahashi and eventually he began to blame the greatest for a slow count. The inevitable happened when Pipers preoccupation with the ref left an opening for Tanahashi to take control of the match and deliver Sling Blade and High Fly Flow to win the World Championship.

The next night on Pipers Pit, Roddy explained that Ali is the reason he is no longer the World Champion and that he was in fact still the Greatest Wrestler that ever lived. While most people would complain and whine demanding a rematch Piper had a better plan, he would prove he is the greatest by challenging Muhammad Ali to a fight on whatever terms Ali wants but if Ali has any guts he would face him in a wrestling match! The challenge was accepted in typical Ali style and Ventura set the match for the March PPV in 2013.

    What of the New Champion?

Tanahashi became a major star as soon as he won the Championship and became a target for ICE Wrestling's top superstars. After successful title defences all over the world Tanahashi would find himself in the middle of major feud between Randy Orton and Triple H. A triple Threat Match was set for Augusts Evolution PPV but Orton had other Ideas and one week before the PPV he used his patented Punt Kick to put Tanahashi on the Shelf. Tanahashi was forced to give up his Championship at the pre PPV Press conference

    tanahashi072109.jpg

    :(

Not for the first time Orton and Triple H would find themselves battling over the title after the reigning Champion was injured.

Last week we learned that Tanahashi will be return to ICE wrestling and has demanded Orton meet him face to face in the ring.....................................

The World Heavyweight Championship was not the only title to find a new holder at the PPV.

The Alpha Athlete of Pro Wrestling and reigning Junior Heavyweight Champion of the World Jay Lethal was threatened through a series of online virals and video packages airing on TV. Governing Body Ventura informed Lethal that ICE wrestling’s owners had approved the airing of the video promos to build to the debut of a new Wrestler, a man that Lethal would have to face at the Evolution PPV.. Rumours circulated about the identity of the mystery opponent and just two weeks before the PPV a symbol appeared on the Big Screen

    OMEGA_symbol-small.jpg

Then Kenny Omega appeared on stage. Omega proclaimed that while the Alpha Athlete may believe he is the top star he will soon meet his end at the hands of the Omega.

The mind games unsettled Lethal and he would go on to lose his title to the new Superstar..

Omega’s debut and championship reign set off a chain reaction over the next few months leading to a big match at the 2013 Terror Rising PPV event, more on this later…..

    Show 1

    Part I

LWE - LizLinear Wrestling Entertainment presents

    Friday Night Ignition

The show begins will all four candidates for the GM position Dean Malenko, Stephanie McMahon, Bobby Heenan and Michelle McCool in the ring waiting for the owner's decision. All of a sudden the theme to Star Trek plays and William Shatner comes down and enters the ring. He takes a mic and goes up to each candidate and says hello. Heenan asks him what he doing there and Shatner says that the owner contacted me after his show stealing performance at the Oscars to reveal the new GM. Heenan tells him to get on with but McCool goes over and starts caressing him on his face which brings a huge smile to his face. Stephanie pulls her away and then she starts smiling at and caressing Shatner's face who has dropped the mic. Heenan picks up the mic and asks Malenko is he next to do this crap to loopy Shatner. McCool pulls Stephanie away and the two start fighting in the ring. Shatner tries to separate them and he succeeds. He gets the mic back and tells them while they are ravishing creatures they have not got the job but can come and commserate with him in the back in his dressing room. Stephanie slaps him and then McCool and leaves the ring. Shatner is going to speak with Austin Aries music hits and he stands on the ramp and says that this promotion has become a joke
that he should be running the show, he is the greatest ever and has beaten everyone there and held every title. He tells Heenan to stick to managing his family and that he wouldnt be a fair GM given how the current LWE World Heavyweight Champion Mr. Perfect
regained his title at the last ppv but that using dirty tricks is in everyone's playbook so he respects that. Aries then turns to Malenko and asks who are you again a roadie or booker or agent and laughs and that he dont deserve to even be in the same universe as him let alone same ring. Malenko has heard enough and takes the mic from Shatner and tells Aries to shut up and come down the ring as he has never beaten him despite his claims to have beaten everyone. Aries says he dont beat up old men on the brink of retiring and goes to the back. Malenko turns and aks Shatner who got the job. Aries sneakily runs down to the ring and takes down Malenko. He is beating on him outside the ring now. Shatner tells Heenan to do something but Heenan says he cant only the GM can so Shatner tells him he has the job. So the new GM is Bobby Heenan. Heenan takes the mic and tells Aries to stop or he will be fined and suspended or even fired but laughs as he cant stay serious saying that. Aries continues beating Malenko until International Airstrike aka Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel come out and make the save while Aries leaves through the crowd. They check on Malenko (who had helped the former tag team champions as a friend and mentor). Heenan tells them as they want to fight they will be in action later tonight. Heenan says he is a fair GM so Aries will be punished.

Backstage Intercontinental ChampionWade Barrett is with his girlfriend Women's Champion Layla discussing his movie Dead Man Down and how has been approached to play the lead over Jason Statham in Guy Ritchie's new film. Barrett says that although many actresses now are falling head over feet for him he mentions Jennifer Lawerence at the Oscars, Layla is the only one for him.

Stephanie goes to the GM office to speak with Heenan and asks if she could be his assistant as she is a useful asset to have, Heenan tells her he will think about it and she leaves.

First match up is one half of the current tag team champions Davey Richards against The Pope D'Angelo Dinero which Dinero wins with his legs on the ropes.

Shatner enters the GM office and tells Heenan that the owner asked him to stay around a few weeks to drum up publicity for the upcoming WrestleMayhem PPV and he starts humming the theme tune to Boston Legal and dancing. Heenan asks for someone to please beam him up.

On New Year’s Day, 2013, a young man in Ireland struck gold. A €2 lottery ticket granted him the biggest win in his lifetime, the Euromillions paying out over €150 million. As a life long wrestling fan, there was only one thing the young man was ever going to do with the cash; open a wrestling promotion.

Dave Shadow, name legally changed following his win and decision to enter the wrestling industry, bought a small island off the coast of Ireland. Located on the island was the ruins of an old castle, with a giant courtyard right in the middle of it. With its multiple rooms, underground access passages, a dock to ferry people to and fro, it provided the perfect grounds to establish his base of operations.
    11_04_10_web.jpg

And tonight, Dave Shadow, alongside TSC Productions, presents the first episode of...
    Castle Island Wrestling

    JR_Lawler_article_1.jpg

The show opens up with Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross welcoming everyone, hyping the show and saying how pleased they and everyone is to be on the island, ready to present some astounding action. The arena sees a ring set up in the middle of the made over courtyard, and seating structures build up all around it, allowing

They cut up to a balcony overlooking the open arena. Dave Shadow stands on it. He welcomes everyone to the show, and announces that since it's the debut of the biggest show on Earth, he's decided to give everyone the biggest main event in the history of wrestling right here today. He announces that tonight, we'll get John Cena going up against Goldberg. He also talks about he's hired Chuck Norris to act as his eyes and ears backstage at the show, and that Norris will have the power to make any matches he sees fit. With that, he tells everyone to enjoy the show.
    Match One
    Monty Brown vs Brodus Clay
Brown shows absolutely no fear at the superior weight and size advantage held by Clay. He throws everything he has at the monster, with the two going back and forth through the match.

After a few minutes, Bobby Roode starts making his way down the ramp. He distracts the referee long enough for Brown to take advantage and connect with a Pounce, knocking Clay down long enough for Brown to get the win. Brown exits the ring quickly after the ref finishes the count and heads up the ramp, leaving with Roode.

    Winner: Monty Brown

    Backstage...

Chuck Norris is talking to Zack Ryder, Ryder telling Norris how awesome it is to be at Castle Island Wrestling, how cool it is. Deuce and Domino walk into shot, and ask Ryder what he'd know about "cool". Norris sees this as a challenge. He tells Ryder to find a tag partner, cause he'll be facing Deuce and Domino tonight. Ryder says he's excited; a new show means a new chance to prove himself.
    Match Two
    Hallowicked (w/Delirious) vs Killer Kowalski
    Copy_of_DeliriousTWGPN32.jpg
Hallowicked is in the ring as Killer walks out with a microphone. He gruffs about how in his day, wrestlers didn't wear Halloween costumes that looked like their mothers put them together on a low budget, and that Hallowicked doesn't look like he takes any pride in himself.

The match is short enough, with Kowalski performing the perfect clinic on Wicked. It doesn't take long for him to apply his Kowalski Claw to his opponent, forcing the tap out. He seems reluctant to let it go even after the bell rings though, and doesn't release the move until Delirious comes in and pulls him off. Kowalski leaves, having seen enough.

    Winner: Killer Kowalski.
    Backstage...

Cena is warming up for one of the biggest matches of his career when Zack Ryder walks into the dressing room. He tells Cena that he needs a partner tonight and asks Cena to help him out. Cena laughs, telling Ryder that he has other things on his mind. Ryder asks if he's serious; Ryder knows Cena could take the likes of Deuce and Domino down without much hassle, and that realistically, all Cena has to do is sit on the apron while Ryder does most of the work. Still Cena declines, but thanks Ryder for wanting to team with him.

Ryder starts to leave when a familiar face appears behind him...
    aElvWERLdF9GQ1Ux_o_santino-marella-zack-ryder-backstage-segment---raw-.jpg

Santino volunteers to be Ryder's partner tonight in the match. Ryder reluctantly accepts.
    Match Three
Santino Marella & Zack Ryder vs Deuce N' Domino
Santino starts the match off...and is at the end of it within a minute, his showboating leading to Deuce and Domino recording a quick win via the running boot to the face. Ryder looks disraught, having never even got to participate in the match, as DnD get the clean win. The commentators play up the fact that even in Castle Island Wrestling, Zack Ryder still cannot catch a break.

    Winners: Deuce and Domino
    Match Four
    Bobby Roode vs Zema Ion

The match never even gets underway. Roode is first down to the ring but as Zema Ion makes his entrance, Brown appears out of nowhere and delievers the shouldertackle to his back, blindsiding Ion. He throws Ion into the ring and the two start to beat him down.

Brodus Clay, still sore from his earlier screwing at the hands of these two, runs down to the ring to help. However the numbers rebalance when a masked man jumps from the crowd and helps Roode and Brown. When he delievers the Stroke to Clay, it becomes obvious who he is; he pulls off the mask to reveal...
    Jeff-Jarrett-tna-superstar-7.jpg

JR screams that Roode, Brown and Jeff Jarett are all in cahoots, and the three men celebrate together in the middle of the ring. Lawler notes that these three men used to be part of a group called "Planet Jarrett" years ago in another promotion, and that now they seem to have realigned themselves together once again.

A promo video airs for Akebono, showing clips of his time as a Sumo Wrestler, as an MMA fighter and as a professional wrestler working in Japan. It warns that he'll be on the show next week to reap destruction on any who stands in his path.
    Match Five: Main Event
    John Cena vs Goldberg
The crowd are on their feet as a dream match starts, the two going rough from the get go, trading punches, kicks and holds, throwing everything they've got at each other from the offset. The two muscle heads throw devestating shots at each other, rattling each other. Their fight spills out of the ring and the two bounce each other off the stairs, the ring post and the announces table. Anything they can run the other into, they can.

However, neither man wants to show weakness and they try their best to show no sign of damage, no selling everything that the other throws at them.

After going back and forth for 15 minutes, Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment and the crowd go nuts, but Goldberg kicks out at 2. Goldberg goes for a Jackhammer, but as he lifts Cena up, Cena shifts his weight, pushing himself downwards ontop of Goldberg who falls down, allowing Cena to apply the STF-U. It looks like he might be in serious trouble when suddenly...
    deucendominointro3_crop_340x234.jpg?1307011092
Deuce and Domino drive out in their classic car and start moving towards the ring. Goldberg powers out of the STF-U admist the distract and moves into position for a spear. Cena dodges it as Deuce and Domino get to the ring. They climb onto the apron and Cena attacks them, knocking them down, not letting them get a hit on him. Goldberg sees an opening though and nails Cena with the spear. Goldberg gets the three count as Deuce and Domino quickly run away.

    Winner: Goldberg

Although he doesn't look overly happy with how it went down, Goldberg still celebrates a massive win over a big star like Cena. Cena, on the other hand, rolls to the outside with a bemused expression on his face, wondering why the hell Deuce and Domino of all people decided to interfere in his match up.

The show ends with JR and Cole biging-up Goldberg and asking the question....Who Next?

    Welcome to BWA Raw Re-Cap

Introducing BWA Chairman Bounty Hunter... (can count as my CAW)

The Result of last years BWA draft war hit the BWA and it's chairman hard. Monday Night Grappling was voted the clear winners, The WECWF went under as a result of it's extreme non PG nature and the BWA has really struggled to come to terms with it since in particular the man in control of the promotion Bounty Hunter who has made a number of big gambles in order to restore his federation to their rightful place at the top of the PW boards world.

These changes included a wholesale gutting of the 2012 BWA roster whom he blamed for last years loss and the arrival of some real high profile names in their place including Stone Cold Steve Austin and the man many claim is responsible for WECWF's problems, their champion Jake The Snake Roberts. It was in fact both of these mens arrivals that would result in the chairman instigating a ruling which meant nobody would get a BWA world title shot until they showed themselves to be of a certain high moral character first. It was a new world after WECWF was shut down and to survive you had to be able project a PG image in this modern PW era.

After the urging of BWA regular and fan favourite Kenta Kobashi, One man Bounty Hunter decide to bring back to the BWA that he thought could show these qualities was former BWA star and Kobashi's former partner Mitsuharu Misawa

    Introducing Mitsuharu Misawa
    misawa.jpg

Re-signing the former BWA star allowed the BWA chairman get one back on MNG promotions by pillaging one of their top stars and former champion just like he had done with Jake from his now defunct WECWF rivals. The chairman made such a big deal of his return that BWA world champion Bryan Danielson (see last years BWA draft, will write out now) actually demanded to face him and in doing so prove he was still the top dog in the BWA. This was a big mistake.

With Kobashi in his Corner, a more serious (than he was last portrayed in the BWA atleast) Misawa delivered a masterclass in wrestling against as he described him "the Indy starlet" and eventually forced him to tap out to a crossface after dropping him on his shoulder with a loud thud from the 2nd rope with a Tiger Driver.

The following night on Raw as the BWA chairman rejoiced in the result (Danielson had been stalling on signing a new contract after last years boards draft disappointment and was now put on the shelf injured and dropped the belt) Misawa made his way to the ring and cut a celebratory yet scathing promo which saw his crowd approval turn to mega heat.

He said that what he did last night was the same thing he had been doing for years prior in the BWA but that it took him leaving the company and going to MNG for the people in the back and the crowd to realise how good he was. He talked about the lenghts he went to to always put on the best match on the card but would always be overlooked in the past, about how he mastered the English language to connect with the fans but got nothing in return and no matter how many inferior wrestlers he beat in the past he never got title shots. It took him leaving the promotion last year and going to a rival promotion and winning their heavyweight championship before anyone in the BWA even realised what they had and had let go in him.

He didn't return however to gain the fans approval, he had moved on from that particular goal but he did want to show the world that given the opportunity he could have won the BWA world title. That was as he said the only reason he responded when the BWA chairman reached out to him to return, he doesn't care about the fans, he's just the best and back to prove it.

    re-introducing Kenta Kobashi
    zkm6kobashi.jpg

Kobashi has been with the BWA longer than any wrestler has been with any promotion in Boards Draft history. Perhaps this is why his word has so much sway backstage these days and why BWA chairman Bounty Hunter took such notice of his suggestions to get his former partner (Misawa) back to the BWA. This would also explain why Misawa's reaction (distain towards the BWA fans etc) after returning and winning the BWA World title hit Kobashi hard. He didnt seem himself for a number of weeks afterwards before cutting a promo talking about how he was struggling to get the same enjoyment from this industry anymore and was considering retirement. In the weeks following he has had a number of opponunts cut promos on how they would make his decision for him and end his career early etc but each time he has defeated and silenced them including the former Intercontinental champion Jeff Jarrett who know ply's his trade in another promotion. Despite now being IC champion the questions with regards his future still linger.

    Introducing Jake "The Snake" Roberts
    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQaWYP1u1176NQLNte_QdKgkKffM9I-YBdf8Ylxj59Jso52gy0Isw

It's been almost one year since the culmination of the boards Monday night wars and the battle for supremacy between the BWA, Monday Night Grappling & WECWF, the latter of which headlined it's PPV with the meeting of the straight edge saviour CM Punk and Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Roberts surprised many with an incredible display that night he won the big gold belt and then uttered these now infamous words
    JAKE ROBERTS
Tonight is the Greatest day of My life, tonight is the night I've dreamt about my entire life, CM Punk i just want you to know.. Im going back to my hotel room to do an 8 ball of coke.. But I'll do it as the WECWF World Heavyweight Champion..

3 weeks later and Roberts once again addressed the WECWF faithfull but in part due to his words and actions those 3 weeks hence this was to be potentially the last ever broadcast of the WECWF. It seems the antics of the extreme element of his promotion lead by Jake had cost WalterSobchek dear and that after tonight court orderd sanctions would see WECWF forced to close it's doors. He said he was sorry to see the show have to go to hiatus and was sorry if his honesty on PPV was what sparked the investigation into the backstage dealings in the WECWF which lead to Waltersobcheks promotion licence being revoked (subject to review on a yearly basis of course).

However he said he wasn't sorry for who he was or what he did but that meerly he was sorry for how people chose to react to his words and that that meant he would not be able to wrestle in the WECWF as it's champion. He did however assure the fans he would represent the promotion wherever he went.

Only one week later and Jake made a shock appearance on BWA Raw and cut the now infamous "year of the snake" promo. This was when he referenced that in the Chinese calendar this is considerd the year of the Snake and there is no way he was going to not compete in a top promotion this year but instead that he believed he was destined to make a major impact in one before the year was out . This was also when he talked about his reasons for coming to the BWA despite almost embodying one of their main rivals until recent times. He was still carrying the big gold WECWF belt with him and referring to himself as a world champion however and this instantly irked a lot of people within his new home especially as he never defended this belt in the BWA.

Former BWA champion HHH (on my last roster) was one such person who took exception to it and he was Jake's first big feud upon arriving
in the BWA. Surprisingly Hunter put Jake over strong (on his way out) and Jake got a big win before arguably going a step over the line and setting Damian on a downed and out Hunter in the ring who got bit numerous times (he gets written out here).

It's shortly after this point when BWA chairman Bounty Hunter had to remind Jake of the strict conditions and behaviour he agreed to in order to wrestle here (Jake would later Joke that it was his arrival in the BWA that forced it to go PG) and that if he could not improve his behaviour he would never get a world title shot, which at the time was what Jake was talking about wanting, a chance as he called it to become an undisputed world champion.

    Introducing Stone Cold Steve Austin
    stone_cold_steve_austin.jpg

Stone Cold had signed a deal with the BWA quite a while before debuting but it seems to his bad luck in the time between the industry and the BWA took a more PG turn. It would seem nobody told Austin however and in a rather awkward turn BWA chairman had to tell Austin on his first night, a night that had been promoted in advance as featuring SCSA who would open the show, that he was too drunk to compete and send him back to the lockeroom area. His match was rescheduled to be the main event that night and he was given time to sober up but by now "The Rattlesnake" was pis*ed in more ways than 1 and when it came to main event time (where Bounty Hunter came out as an outside enforcer of sorts) he unleashed his annoyance on everyone involved leaving his opponent, the referee and even The BWA chairman lying after Stone Cold Stunners after he had flipped them all off. The show went off the air with him celebrating with a trademark SCSA beer bath but this would not be the last he would hear of this.

He and we all knew that he of all people should have known better but laying hands on the boss does not ingratiate yourself with a new company. In fact it was this action that actually lead to the debut of Rocky Marciano the following week after Austin cut an incredible promo where he was actually able to belittle the crowd for ruining potentially great promo's over the past decade using his "What!" Schtick while still keeping the audience pro Austin cos he was simply so funny in his delivery.

    Introducing Rocky Marciano
    Rocky-Marciano.jpg

The Boss (Bounty Hunter) had been putting himself in harms way too often recently against stars such as Jake "The Snake" Roberts or Stone Cold Steve Austin and needed someone to have his back. Marciano is the only champion to hold the heavyweight title in boxing and go untied and undefeated throughout his career, so who better for the BWA Chairman to get in as his "Enforcer". Thankfully Since Marciano's arrival nobody has laid a finger on the chairman, would someone really be silly enough as to cross the champ?

We got a chance to find out when he debuted squaring up to the Rattlesnake SCSA but Austin much to the crowd approval said he had too much respect to throw down with the legendary fighter

    Introducing Dos Caras
    Dos-caras.jpg

The Introduction of the Mexican legend Dos Caras was an unexpected move by BWA chairman Bounty Hunter but one that seemed to pay immediate dividends for his promotion as he saw a big spike in viewership when the debut was made and again even bigger when they were able to promote the following week on BWA Raw where Dos Caras had announced he would shed his mask and that now in America he would allow his true identity to be known.

On that show none other than Ricardo Rodriguez came up to the ring to act as the personal ring announcer for Dos Caras
and what a job he did, you would have been forgiven for thinking the King of all of Mexico was about to make his way to the ring when Dos Caras emerged. He made his way down to the ring where after some more bilingual bigging up from Ricardo he stuck to his word and removed his mask before taking the Mic and saying "My Name is Alberto Del Rio, but of course you should have already known that!". later the commentators emphasized it's Alberto Del Rio Senior, not to be mistaking with the man they now realize is his son who wrestles in a Rival promotion but it isn't long before Dos Caras makes that point clear himself.

He talks about how he looks down on the pitiful rival promotion that his son has tarnished the good name Del Rio by participating in and has come to the BWA to prove there is true quality in the name Del Rio (thus he had to drop the mask). He says that all you have seen from his son was his, he payed Ricardo's salary, he owned the fancy cars and he taught him every move in his sons Arsenal but that his son was nothing but a mere imitation of "Daddy Del Rio".

Despite a clear showing or arrogance Del Rio Sr truly made an impact upon his arrival in the BWA and the owner & BWA chairman Bounty Hunter was so impressed with him especially given his words and actions (taking Ricardo away from his son) with regards his rivals in MNG that he actually allowed him invest part of his considerable fortune in the BWA and become a minor shareholder (well everyone was minor compared to Bounty Hunters shares). Del Rio therefore spent a lot of time outside of the ring in his early days but slowly started competing in ring at first defeating a string of jobbers easily yet impressively.

    Introducing Jado & Gedo
    jadogedotitles.jpg

These two were apparently given a trial by the BWA chairman after being highly recommended to him by Mitsuharu Misawa before he became BWA champion. They were extremely impressive in a bout against The Eliminators and earned themselves contracts with the promotion however it is yet to be seen if they are really "The World Class Tag Team" they say they are or if their association with Misawa will affect them negatively after he turned on the BWA fans either way these two seem worth keeping an eye on.

    Introducing Bob Sapp
    Bob+Sapp.jpg

The Chairman of the board Bounty Hunter had been talking for a number of weeks about not only wanting to recruit the biggest names around right now, like Stone Cold, or WECWF champion Jake "The Snake" Roberts or The Mexican aristocrat Dos Caras but how he also wanted to sign up the next major star in Pro Wrestling. Therefore when the last of those big names mentioned above approached him suggesting a potential new recruit to the roster he was all ears.

Daddy Del Rio was heard to say to him
So you want someone new not everyone knows about but that can make a big impact, you want your own Django unchained, Your Next big thing, a new animal, well how about I give the man known as "The Beast Unleashed"

This moniker intrigued the chairman who had honestly never heard of this man so he told Del Rio sr to make it so. However Alberto Sr refused to do so unless Bounty Hunter gave him an option to buy more BWA stock from him. As he pointed out this vexed the Boss but he relented and allowed The Mexican to pump more money into the company and up his share to 25% of the company. Therefore the following week Bob "The Beast Unleashed" Sapp made his debut to a great reaction. He well and truly lived up to his billing as a beast and tore apart any opponents put in front of him.

It wasn't long before he distanced himself from Del Rio however with the Mexican describing him as uncontrollable while the big man who now began talking more and more described himself as a leader and not a follower.

In the weeks and months that followed this statement was proven true with superstars almost gravitating towards him including some surprising names

introducing New Jack & Mustafa Seed aka The New Gangstas
    gangstas.jpg

two of the wrestlers who seemed to almost hang on every word from "The Beast Unleashed" were New Jack & Mustafa Seed. They didn't say much but where intimidating to f*ck especially New Jack whom it was clear had a real nasty streak. For some reason these two began acting as Sapp's muscle. not that he didn't have enough himself, carrying out orders for him on the drop of a hat. It was an example of this which really solidified the image of The New Gangsters when New Jack actually went as far as pulling a knife out on backstage interviewer Todd Grisham after he came off as having been sarcastic when interviewing Sapp.

Nobody in the BWA seems to want any part of this tag team be it in or outside the ring.

Introducing Mr & Ms Bobby Lashley
    wwewrestlers.png

When BWA chairman Bounty Hunter was looking for his next big thing and before Alberto Del Rio brought forward The Beast Unleashed Bob Sapp he had kept coming back to one name. That name was a man he described as one that everyone had always expected to be the next big thing in PW but someone who it just hadn't happened for yet, someone who he thought in the right conditions could still flourish. With ratings and profits up after the introduction of stars such as Austin, Dos Caras & Misawa the chairman thought he could gamble and bring in this man and as an added bonus he got his beautiful wife too as Bobby & Kristal Lashley joined up for the BWA.

The chairman did have one concern though, how would Bob Sapp react to Lashley's arrival? The two had quite a storied past together and the chairman was not the only one expecting a potential collision in the BWA, however this was not exactley what we saw. In fact when the two finally came face to face in a tag match Bobby Lashley actually refused to tag in saying he didn't want to face Sapp. In an interview after the match he actually said "I owe that man too much" in an attempt to explain his actions but this left the BWA universe with even more questions to pose.

introducing Alex Shelly & Chris Sabin aka The Motor City Machine Guns
    motor_city_machine_guns_by_straightedgefan783-d374y1j.jpg

Often considerd the pretty boys of the BWA lockeroom Sabin & Shelly have proved everything but in the ring and quickly rose up the ranks in the tag team division to become the BWA tag team champions a position they have now held for several months. The most recent big news related to this duo is how MTV have apparently been in contact with them recently about producing a follow up to their 2008 appearance in the show "Made" where they taught a school boy the basics of Professional wrestling.

This is something they have been bragging about backstage and recently it has really been starting to annoy many of the lockeroom especially those who perhaps think they are more suited to training someone how to wrestle.

Introducing Perry Saturn & John Kronos aka The Eliminators
    l.jpg

Rounding out the BWA tag team division for 2013 are the former ECW tag champs the Eliminators. This team comprises of John Kronos who was usually described as meerly a good worker and the man who added a real X factor to the team, Perry Saturn. Saturn was a real maverick and you never knew which Saturn you would get. Would it be the world class athlete that Killer Kowalski used to often hold up as an example to others calling him his best pupil or the half mad nonsense speaking mop lover who had been loving homeless until recently. When Saturn was on his game the Eliminators were near impossible to beat but those days seemed to be less and less regular these days.

In an unusual twist to this story Saturn was often to be found in the company of The New Gangsta's and Bob Sapp, some speculated the reason behind his involvement with them and when a direct correlation was pointed out between the days he is seen in their company and the days when he seems more disheveled and unable to bring his A game in the ring this speculation started to become a lot more clear.

There will be another 1 or 2 shows looking back at the year long build from last years BWA Wrestlemania to this years and I hope you join us as we build to the biggest show of the year featuring some of the biggest feuds we have ever had in the BWA.
    BWA Roster 2013:

    1. Mitsuharu Misawa
    2. Kenta Kobashi
    3. Stone Cold Steve Austin
    4. Jake "The Snake" Roberts
    5. Alex Shelley

    7. Bob Sapp
    8. Bobby Lashley
    9. Kristal Lashley
    10. Perry Saturn
    11. John Kronus
    12. Dos Caras
    13. Ricardo Rodrigeuz
    14. Bruno Sammartino
    15. Rocky Marciano
    16. Jado

Out of the ashes of a company’s darkest hour comes its new dawn…

    Previously on Monday Night Grappling…
"This is the end ladies and gentlemen. Shawn Michaels has won the Heavyweight Championship and is leaving the company…"

In 2012 the world did end for Monday Night Grappling. In its main event the new champion departed the company and took with him the heavyweight championship. It was to prove a bittersweet year for the promotion. While the company achieved record breaking profits and unprecedented ratings, the loss of the championship belt meant a loss of prestige and many of its performers departed the company.

The owner has been silent as rumours circulated as recently as a week ago that he was preparing to wind up the promotion. There is no World Champion. No GM on the show. No sense of direction at all. The question on MNG fans’s lips is…what will become of the company now? What will happen in this new season? Will there even be a company to support?

Welcome to the brand new season of...
    Monday Night Grappling

    300px-Apocalypse_vasnetsov.jpg
The show opens from Charlotte, North Carolina as the commentators thank the fans for their loyalty and support the past year.

Alberto Del Rio appears to the fans who give him a standing ovation.

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRXdGpcY9mc9Bduv2lsgE6YsC0UIQ_g9kN44AXVmuwgo4rwF-j6bQ

Alberto says he suspects the fans are aware of how much of his own fortune he has put into Monday Night Grappling to try and keep it alive. (Fans chant ‘Thank you Al’ as Alberto has tears in his eyes).

Alberto says he has put his heart and soul into trying to keep this place alive and the rumours are true that he is on the brink of bankruptcy. He says money is so tight that he had to advise his best friend Ricardo and even his own father to go get a better deal in the scoundrel organisation known as the BWA. Del Rio says it’s been the hardest year of his life and only his relationship with Rosa Mendes has kept him going (fans boo her name).

Del Rio says the owner of the company is absent (fans boo the mention of him too) and says it is true there is only one title in the company – Trish’s Women’s Title which she has won back since last year’s show. Alberto admits the company lacks star power but that he has assembled as much as he can with his money and tonight he will unveil this: he holds up a bag. Del Rio says in here is the new Monday Night Grappling championship and all the male wrestlers will have a chance tonight to win it in an over the top rope battle royal. The wrestlers competing will be:

The British Invasion (boo)...Rush (boo)...Fit Finlay (cheer)...Magnum TA (bigger cheer)...the Fabulous Freebirds (bigger cheer) and…myself Alberto Del Rio (biggest cheer). The fans chant his name and Del Rio says it’s time to kick things off and since the other wrestlers were happy for him to take charge tonight, he has made a huge women's tag match right now...

Match 1 – Trish Stratus & Lita vs Beth Phoenix and Nattie Neidhart

Trish – the Women’s champ – who Alberto has convinced to stay with the company hugs Del Rio (as does Lita). The 'Divas of Doom' refuse to do so to large boos.

In a great back and forth contest where the Divas of Doom impress with their strong tandem offence, the finish sees Trish knocked to the outside and claim to have a sore wrist. As Lita reaches for the tag Trish is holding her wrist and Beth and Nattie team up to finish her off for the win.

    Winners: Divas of Doom

    220px-Natalya_2.jpg

After the match Lita asks Trish what that was about. Trish shoves her and storms off and blames her on the loss. Beth and Nattie grab a mic and say if that’s all the competition there is in this place then they will dominate. As we cut to backstage we see Aja Kong looking on at the monitor and she is NOT happy. An interviewer asks her to comment on what the Divas of Doom just said but she just smirks and walks away.
*There is a commercial shown for a new DVD – how MNG won the Monday Night War last year vs BWA and WECWF– there is a special half-price deal due to the company’s financial situation.*
*backstage segment* - Michael Hayes is talking backstage with Del Rio and he thanks him for all the sacrifices he has made and for pumping money into the company. Hayes says he and Gordy are also grateful for the opportunity later but warns he will go all out to win the new title. Del Rio nods but a lackey runs in and says to come quick: Gordy has been taken out. As we rush down the halls we see Gordy is unconscious and is a bloody mess. What happened?
Monday Night Grappling: Irish Boot Camp

    300px-Flag_of_Ireland.svg.png

This year in a new twist the company’s Irish branch has nominated three superstars for the chance to earn a contract with the company, but only one can be considered 'tough enough'. We meet the contestants:

Foxy Rock – This 25 year old blonde describes herself as a Daddy’s girl and says she is from the rich and trendy part of Dublin, Ireland. She says she enjoys putting fake tan on herself and watching Leinster’s rugby team for all the fit boys. ‘I’m loike sooooo super excited to earn lots of money and go on A LOT of shopping sprees. Vote for me, kay?’

‘The Scangster’ Mickey Fitt – Decked out in a leather trenchcoat that covers all but his white runners and baseball cap, Mickey claims he is from the mean streets of Dublin and says his three favourites things in life are ‘getting pissed, pissing off the Guards and bateing the heads off of anyone who gets in his way. Says his hero in life is Spiral from Big Brother. ‘Watch out for my finisher ‘Scangster’s paradise’.

Fibber Mac and his handler ‘Old Donal’ – A white-haired old man with a tin whistle called ‘Old Donal’ introduces us to a big 6 foot seven, 350 pound grizzled looking beast who sits silently rocking back and forth – he is Fibber. Old Donal says he doesn’t know his real name or where he comes from but he found him outside the pub Fibber Magees and decided to call him that. He says Fibber grew up eating sheep raw and hates the name Fibber as it reminds him of how he’s an unwanted bastard. Fibber begins slapping himself on the head and smashes the camera with his fist. Old Donal plays The Minstrel Boy on his tin whistle and the beast calms down and sucks his thumb.

Which one of these three characters will get the contract? Watch them try to earn your support and find out the winner at the end of the season.
    *backstage segment*

    200px-Rosa-Mendes-2011.jpg

Rosa runs up to Alberto and asks him if he likes her new fur coat. Alberto says money is tight and she should be watching what she spends. Rosa says a woman like her needs to be treated like royalty. Alberto says a lot of her financial moves have been questionable lately such as her decision to invest in Anglo Irish and to avoid investing in the cloning company like Alberto had wanted. Rosa says cloning isn’t going to be as big as he thinks. She asks if he will watch her match next with Aja Kong but Del Rio says he is not sure he can as he needs to check on Terry Gordy.

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ7WMNwehwLy7uZslEoURatPDoRuKgz_R5DlyAMF7J_zJ7lkfiz

Rush comes along having been listening behind the corner and says if he was with Rosa he would treat her a lot better. He invites her to become his manager and says maybe they can learn to mix business with pleasure. He says he will win the title tonight and become the hottest young star in the industry as Rosa looks on flattered. He asks if she wants him to go to ringside with her but she declines.
*a promo airs with Magnum TA talking about his battle back to the ring and how winning the title tonight would mean everything to him.*

*Finlay in the same piece says of everything he has done in his career he has never won the big one – a World Title - and he would love to do it tonight*

Match 2 – Rosa Mendes vs Aja Kong

Kong is not in a good mood and disposes of Rosa without breaking a sweat.

    Winner: Aja Kong

    220px-Aja_Kong.JPG

After the match, Aja runs into Nattie who says she doesn’t think Aja is all that. From behind, Beth clatters her with a steel chair and they beat her down. They say they are the dominant divas in the company so get used to it.
    *backstage interview* -

    220px-Nick_Aldis.jpg

Magnus and Doug Wiliams say the Irish have done very few things of note but Finlay is one of their better exports, unlike Enya and that muck Guinness. They say they respect Finlay but will take him out tonight and begin to bicker about which one of them will win the title.
    *backstage segment*
Del Rio is interviewed backstage and says Gordy won’t be able to compete tonight when Rosa interrupts and demands to know where he was. Del Rio says he had to check on his friend Gordy but Rosa says Del Rio cares more about his friends than her. He doesn’t love her or respect her. Says maybe she should find someone who will. She storms off but before Del Rio can follow her another lackey runs along and says Michael Hayes has been attacked.

They run along the corridor to find Hayes beaten unconscious just like Gordy was. Who has taken out the Fabulous Freebirds? Del Rio finds a note stuffed down Hayes’s bloody shirt. The interviewer asks what it says. Del Rio reveals it says ‘Welcome to the Apocalypse.’ What does this mean? Del Rio says he can’t take much more stress.

Main Event Match: 8 man - now 6 man – over the rope Battle Royal for the vacant MNG World Title : Alberto Del Rio vs Magnus vs Doug Williams vs Finlay vs Rush vs Magnum T.A.

Rush went after Del Rio immediately. Magnus and Doug went after Finlay but Magnum T.A. evened up the score.

The first elimination saw Doug Williams holding Finlay for Magnus to eliminate him but Finlay ducked and Magnus accidentally eliminated Williams.

    Doug Williams has been eliminated.

As Magnus looked on shocked at what had happened, Finlay turned Magnus over the ropes as well.

    Magnus has been eliminated.

The two British Invasion members argue at first but then Magnus smiles back at Finlay and applauds him. Finlay looks back unimpressed. Finlay turns around at Magnum T.A. and the two men share a handshake and then begin striking at one another. Finlay hits the Celtic Cross but turns around into a DDT from Rush who turns around into a Del Rio takedown and armbar -Rush taps out but that doesn’t count in this match. We cut backstage to Rosa looking on from a monitor whilst chewing her nails. Del Rio sits up but Magnum T.A. clotheslines him over the ropes – but he hangs on. Magnum then hits a belly to belly suplex on Finlay and eliminates the Irishman.

    Finlay has been eliminated

Rush meanwhile has since recovered and from behind hits a dropkick to eliminate Magnum T.A to big boos.

    Magnum T.A. has been eliminated

Now we are down to Rush and Del Rio and the younger Mexican prepares to hit a super kick on Del Rio who is still clinging to the ropes. As he goes for it Del Rio dodges, hits an enzuigiri and then tosses the young man over the rope to win the match.

    Rush has been eliminated

Winner of the match and the new MNG World–

    The lights shut down.
Commentators: What the hell is this? What’s happened?

The crowd in Charlotte go bananas as the Horsemen theme hits. Out struts Barry Windham and Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. All three men are carrying gold.
Commentators: My goodness! Unless my eyes deceive me, Barry Windham is holding the MNG Legends Title and Anderson and Blanchard are holding the MNG Tag Titles. What is going on here?
Barry Windham: Congratulations Mr Del Rio on your hard-earned victory. Unfortunately for you…it has all been for nothing. You have carried this company well through its difficulties. But WE will take things from here.

He passes the mic to Blanchard. The commentators notice all their hands are bloody.

Tully Blanchard: You’ll have to excuse the blood on our hands. I and my friends are normally impeccably well dressed but tonight we gentlemen had to settle an old score backstage with some long-haired hippies. A small sign of things to come.

He passes the mic to Arn Anderson as the fans cheer.

Arn Anderson: Like the note you found earlier said Del Rio - ‘Welcome to the Apocalypse'. And what do you associate with the Apocalypse. Why…the Four Horsemen of course!

(The fans cheer and do the Horsemen sign)

Anderson: But I feel like I’m forgetting somebody here…

    (Fans begin to woo)

Anderson: My God! I almost forgot the fourth Horseman, Ric Flair get on down here!

(The fans pop huge as the Nature Boy struts out to his theme wearing an absurdly expensive suit and wooing and hugging his friends. He is holding a briefcase. Del Rio looks on with eyes glaring)

    Ric Flair: My, my, my…

    *woo chants fill the arena*

How I love to be home!

    *more woos*

And Alberto, like I always say, when you come home having been away a long time you should always bring with you a souvenir. He lifts open the briefcase to reveal…
Commentators: My goodness! That’s the MNG World Title! How the hell does he have that?!

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQfJ6Cs7R2WTyR1rzvituZs9PQoa7mAISo8ogGGTb4E6T_-XkRj
Ric Flair: You know…some people think the world didn’t end in 2012. Some people think the Mayans got it wrong. But for Monday Night Grappling the world did end. This belt right here is the greatest, most prestigious world championship belt in the world today. It was taken from this organisation by a man I know VERY well.

    *woo chants again*

Flair: The owner of this company knew he needed to do something radical. Needed to somehow find a way to bring the company back from the brink. And the owner of this company came to me and said…NATURE BOY!...Slick Ric…I’m gonna make the price right, my friend! Your credentials are unlimited. If anybody can bring that title home to where it belongs…brother, it’s YOU.

    *woos*

Flair: And there are a lot of rumours going around…did I defeat HBK for this title belt. Or did I wheel and deal like a son of a gun and buy it off him! Or…did Shawn Michaels at his most disrespectful worst…still have enough respect inside for one man…one man who he respects the most in the world…did he simply in the end hand it over to me? Well, due to that performer no longer being contracted here I am sworn to secrecy. As the girls know the Nature Boy doesn’t kiss and tell! All you need to know is that the Horsemen now have all the gold.

Arn and Tully…are the World tag team champions. Barry Windham is the MNG Legends Champion and we've agreed Barry is also going to represent the company as the new General Manager…and yours truly the Nature Boy Ric Flair…is officially the World’s Heavyweight wrestling Champion…Woooo!

As for you Alberto…it seems you’ve wasted even more of your money with whatever is in that bag up there…because brother you are NOT the world champion of this company. As the entire world knows…TO BE THE MAN…YOU GOTTA BEAT THE MAN and this belt right here makes me the man! Woooo!

The show goes off the air with the Horsemen seemingly in complete control of the company as Del Rio in the ring looks on, holding a bag with a belt that has now been made worthless.

    The credits roll.

Backstage Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett is with his girlfriend Women's Champion Layla discussing his movie Dead Man Down and how has been approached to play the lead over Jason Statham in Guy Ritchie's new film.

Heenan asks for someone to please beam him up.

    tbc......................................................................

    Part II

Mr. Perfect who is the current LWE World Heavyweight Champion enters Heenan's GM office and tells Shatner to beat it, Shatner asks beat what and Perfect tells him to get out which he does. Heenan and Perfect hug and Perfect congraluates him on the GM role. Perefect says he dont have any opponent yet for the WrestleMayhem PPV and that there really isnt anyone on his level or worthy of a match with him on the roster as he has beaten everyone more than once so maybe he can the that night off and enjoy the show with Heenan in the VIP box. Heenan tells him that would be good but that he will be defending his title that night and that despite their relationship he cant play favourites. Drew McIntyre knocks and enters Heenan's office (Drew is dressed in a kilt) and he too congraluates Heenan on his new role and says that he thinks it is his time for a shot at the big one. He looks at Perfect and his title and says it would be a huge honour for him to challenge Mr. Perfect for the title who he greatly respects. He puts his hand out as a gesture to shake hands but Perfect turns and tells Heenan before he leaves the office to send this Piper wannabe back to Scotland. Heenan tells Drew he will have to proof himself and to start tonight with a match against Derrick Bateman which is up next. Drew picks up the win with a DDT.

Scott Hall sees Layla stretching backstage and approaches her and asks her on a date again. They flirt a little until Wade Barrett arrives and Layla leaves with him.

Next match up is one half of the current tag team champions Eddie Edwards against Austin Aries which ends in DQ as Malenko comes and chases after Aries through the crowd.

IC Wade Barrett beat Derrick Bateman who was distracted by Layla as ringside in an non title match.

Tonight's main event match is International Airstrike aka Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel against LWE WHC champion Mr. Perfect and Scott Hall. Drew McIntyre comes out to watch the match from the top of the ramp which distracts Perfect leading to a shock win for Kidd with a quick roll up pin. Hall and Perfect argue in the ring over their loss as the show ends.

2 and a half Hour Special; Live from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts - with 18,328 ICW fans in attendance.

The Announcers introduce the show - we are on the highway to Grandslam! In honour of his longevity as SuperFly champion, Taka Michinoku will not need to defend his championship at Turmoil! in 4 weeks time, but instead the final of an 8-man tournament to determine a #1 contender will take place inside a double steel cage*. The announcers also confirm the rumours that a major new talent will be debuting tonight, and that Michael Cole has commissioned a special main even match for tonight.

*Double Steel Cage is a structure unique to ICW: A standard steel cage is turned horizontally at an angle, so that it does not match the turnbuckles, and sits on top of another steel cage that is aligned to the turnbuckles and surrounds the ring. The gaps between the cage walls are filled in to prevent escape and make ledges. This is the signature match of the SuperFly division though it hasn’t been seen in a while.

These two clearly don't like each other, though Zbyszko is trying to be nice with the rumour of a spare main event spot going tonight. Cole tells him he's just got off the phone with the council of commissioners and can confirm that a major new signing will debut tonight in the main event against Daniels. In fact, the only reason he invited Zbyszko to the office was to hand him a restraining order filed with a friendly judge here in Boston following last week's altercation on the ramp. Zbyszko is taken aback - literally - by officers of the Boston Police Department who enter the office to remove Zbyszko. As he's going Cole shouts down the corridor that him and Yokozuna have a match tonight. Just then we hear Cole's own music hitting from the arena. Cole picks up his title and heads out to the ring.

    In-Ring
Before the match starts Cole tells us all that Zbyszko'a actions last week have convinced him of the need to re-assert his authority in the company, and therefore build up Monday Night Games so that it can compete with the other Monday Night promotions. As part of that build, new talent will take place in the #1 Contenders Match tonight and Michael Cole is proud to confirm that AJ Styles will take part in tonight’s main event.
    aj-styles-20090903034342009.jpg
Styles' music hits and he comes down to the ring soaking in the massive pop from the crowd. He signs a contract in the ring and then asks for the microphone – but is interrupted by Cole who tells him he will get an interview backstage later. Styles goes backstage perplexed. The crowd are annoyed too.

Cole then reveals that he’s big plan to re-assert himself includes defending the Monday Night Championship tonight against the next wrestler to enter the ring. ICW American Champion D'Lo Brown's music hits and the face announcer goes crazy - this is clearly a set-up! The bell rings...
Match 3: Michael Cole v. D'Lo Brown (Monday Night Championship)
The match is a complete farce, with Brown falling in feigned agony at punches and holds that Cole doesn't even land. Cole is loudly shouting out instructions to Brown, who is over-selling everything – kayfabe within kayfabe! Eventually Cole is about to put us out of our misery and go for the pin when Billy Graham comes running down the ramp and drags Brown out of the ring and strikes him to the ground. The ref rings the bell and the match ends in a no contest - despite Cole technically deserving to lose by DQ.
No Contest - Cole retains Championship

    Post-Match
Graham enters the ring, his rosy sunglasses on, championship around his waist, and main event contract in a briefcase. He whips Cole through the ropes and out of the ring before calling for a microphone. Cole is incensed, but wise enough not to re-enter the ring. Graham addresses the crowd - apologising that they've paid good money to come watch 2 idiots pretend to fight in order to massage Michael Cole's ego. Graham says he looks forward to the maine event tonight and to fighting and defeating whoever wins that match at Turmoil!. Graham also warns Cole that his position wasn't given to him by the council of commissioners just so he could pretend to be a top wrestler, and that he Graham will not allow his own title to be diminished in importance by letting Cole flush the company down the toilet. Graham says that if Cole wants to find a face for the company look no further: for the first time in ICW history someone has a main event contract AND the heavyweight championship around their belt, and never in the history of any promotion as a superstar been able to elicit the cheers and the boos from sellout crowds like he can. Cole wisely exits with Brown, but if looks could kill Graham would need a closed casket ceremony.
Ad Break and promo for Turmoil! in 4 weeks time. Promo shows clips of ICW’s tag teams at their most harmonious and lovey.
Match 4: Samoan Swat Team v. The League (Regal and Tajiri)
The announcers promote the Tag-Team Turmoil match in 4 weeks time in which several tag-teams will battle it out for the International Tag-Team Championships.
    MasterRegal.jpg
Rikishi and Samu are dominating Tajiri as Regal looks on and on several occasions attempts to interfere. At one point Rikishi tagging in Samu is missed by the referee (who's attention is on Regal), and the confusion allows Regal to feign a tag to get into the match. The referee is again distracted - now by Samu's complaints - when Regal pulls out the knuckledusters and in one punch knocks Rikishi out cold and pins for the win. Rikishi is incensed and gives the typical angry stare from the ring as the victors head up the ramp.
The League (Regal & Tajiri) win by pinfall

    Backstage Interview
Kaientai are interviewed, Taka saying he is prepared to face anyone at Grandslam but in particular thinks that Funaki deserves a shot at some success, which is met with an enthusiastic Indeed! from Funaki.
Match 5: Larry Zbyszko and Yokozuna v. 1-2-3 Sparks
1-2-3 Sparks come out first and tell the crowd that they will retain the championships at Turmoil! just like they will walk all over Zbyszko and “Yoko” tonight.
The match begins and eventually Zbyszko gives his team the upper hand with some mat wrestling before tagging in Yokozuna, who he then instructs from the ropes. Yokozuna is trying out his technical skills on poor X-Pac but is getting very confused and can’t seem to get the more complicated holds to stick – the crowd laugh as the huge wrestler attempts the moves of a much smaller technician. In the end X-Pac escapes and tags in Holly. After some initial jockeying for technical advantage, Yokozuna gives up and lifts Holly into the air, delivers a harsh body slam before sitting on him for the pin – only for the referee to call a rope break (Holly’s ankle is under the ropes). Yokozuna gives a disappointed Larry a shrug and tags him in.
As Larry gets in Cole’s music hits again, and Cole comes out surrounded by Boston Policemen. As Cole approaches the ring they order Zbyszko out and he leaves by the crowd behind the announcer’s table. The crowd are particularly angry at this ending.
The winners, by order of the Boston Police Department: 1-2-3 Sparks!

Ad Break: When trying piledrivers at home, cover the floor in your mum’s best sofa cushions to avoid injuring your younger syblings’ necks.

    In-Ring
We come back from adverts to see Michael Cole and William Regal in the ring. William pledges the loyalty of the League to Cole and they shake hands to thunderous booing from the audience.
Cole then gets worked up talking about the injustices that have befallen him in his short-time as Chairman of the Council of Commissioners. Though he welcomes the League’s pledge of loyalty, he says he has also taken another step towards re-asserting his authority and making the Monday Night Games the hottest show in town. Cole has decided to strip Billy Graham of the International Heavyweight Championship for his actions earlier tonight and upgrade the main event tonight to a championship match!

Graham’s music hits and he appears on the ramp – but the dastardly Boston Police Department surround him and lead him away! One of them comes back to the ring with the Big Gold Belt in hand. The crowd are furious and Michael Cole has a demonic expression on his face.
    Vignette
    The Darkness will Rise...
The chill, that aches your bones, and haunts your dreams, will Spread…

    Backstage Interview
Styles is being interviewed backstage. He says he is delighted to have signed a deal with ICW to appear on Monday Night Games, though he is a little surprised to be fighting for the championship so soon – not that he doesn’t deserve to, of course! He gives a rather damning account of Chris Daniels, who he has wrestled before, “Let’s just say I hear more about him than I see – and I always hear it from him.”

    Pre-Match
Daniels’ music hits and he enters the arena for the main event. A lengthy promo ensues in which he bigs up his own talent and claims that this is the 2nd week of his domination of the company and he will mark that by becoming the International Heavyweight Champion, Internationally, again. He doesn’t consider himself to have lost the title anyway, given that Billy Graham never pinned him.

Main Event: Christopher Daniels v. AJ Styles
    (International Heavyweight Championship)

    Christopher-Daniels-defeated-AJ-Styles-5.jpg

This is exactly the match you’d expect from these two: athletic, technical, highly competitive - and sometimes Daniels is just making fun of AJ. The action is mostly in the ring though Daniels does moonsault onto Styles and through the announcer's table - almost causing a double count-out in the process. Both use a rope break to get out of the others' signature submission move (in AJ's case the reverse STF), and both manage to power out of it as well. Add to this a lot of high flying moves and hard hitting holds and its a pretty intense matchup from these two. Twenty minutes in and several near falls/signature moves later, Daniels lands the Angel Wings and goes for the pin once again, only for the lights to go out...

He’s got the championship belt! Daniels and Styles are flat out in the middle of the ring, with a bloodied steel chair lying beside them. The scene is one of carnage! What the hell is going on??
Graham puts the belt around his waist once more and picks up another steel chair before walking up the ramp...

D’Lo Brown comes running out... WHACK... he’s down.
William Regal comes running out, dodges the chair once, but WHACK... not twice, he’s down too!
Michael Cole and some police come out next and Graham ditches the chair and jumps into the crowd, exiting the show with the title belt! The crowd are split down the middle on this, with chants of “Let’s Go Graham, Graham Sucks!” breaking out. The show closes in anarchy!

The show starts with a promo recapping the previous weeks T.F.I.F.F show on MTV, where the Legendary Stan Hansen went on a scaving tirade against the current “ills” he sees about the wrestling world today and especially the 2VL world heavyweight champion TAFKA Goldust. During the rant, the rugged Texan went on to call his adversary in the company an embarrassment to pro wrestling and a cancer that will be the death of a once great art. The promo’s vitriol is amplified as Hansen lists off the characteristics Goldust lacks to make a modern day great. With every word, we get pictures and clips of TAFKA Goldust which hit home like a dagger in the chest.

“You lack Respect!!!” ~Goldust passed out in a strip club with the title resting on his shoulder~
“ You lack Class!!!” ~Goldust spiting in an opponent’s face~
    “You lack Credibility!!!” ~Goldust conducting a chat-show interview dressed as a baby~
“You lack Heart!!!”~Goldust refusing to defend his title and sending Luna to fight his match~
“You lack any regard for your working professionals!!!” Goldust striking foes with his Brass Knucks
“YOU LACK A MAN WHO ISN’T AFRAID TO ENTER CIRCUS OF VIOLENCE AND DEBAUCHRY. NO LONGER BOY NO NO LONGER. I’M GOING TO WIN BACK THE TITLE WHICH MEANT SO MUCH TO SO MANY AND IN THE PROCESS I WILL DESTROY YOU AND YOUR LUNICY YOU HAVEBROUGHT HERE TO 2VL”~Footage of Stan Hansen Kicking some serious ass~

The clips continue, chronicling the past the duo share. It recalls the history of Goldust’s most recent feud with Hansen’s closest friend Bruiser Brody which ended in controversial circumstances. A feud riddled with minds games and dirty tactics from the Fabulous Mass. One which ended with Brody having to leave to company to a chorus of jeers and laughs from TAFKA Goldust. Hansen aggressively explained the heartbreak, grief and utter humiliation he felt that moment caused. A difficult time fuelled by TAFKA Goldust’s obnoxious actions and void of remorse. The Promos continues and shows that Hansen is correct and is next in line for a title shot. An opportunity he will no doubt savor. In the closing moments of our opening promo we see more footage from same T.F.I.F.F show earlier in the week. Stan Hansen, with foaming mouth and gritted teeth, holds up a Texas which reads “Texas’ Shame, Pro Wrestling’s Shame and a Rhodes family shame.

We cut to the live arena. The commentators run down what is in store for this weeks show and rundown the aftermath of the latest PPV Brawl at the Alamo. They comment on the continued downfall of John Laurinaitis and his wrestling fraternity “The University”. We see footage of Mr Laurinaitis smashing up his executive dressing road at the PPV as he sees his right hand man Shane Douglas being “schooled” by Kerry Von Erich as he wins the US Heavywight Title. The final title that The University held in 2VL wrestling going, to Laurinaitis’ dismay. As the clip finishes the commentary team inform the viewers with excitement and joy that tonight is the night The British Bulldogs, Davy Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid, debut in 2VL. The Bulldogs will be taking part in a tag team with fan-favourites David and Kevin Von Erich. With that done we cut backstage to see Laurinaitis addressing his troops Chris Nowinski and David Otunga. He is flustered and seems to be quite stressed. Clearly John is not oblivious to the terrible spell his brood are going through.

Laurinaitis: “Chris, I have spoken to the powers that be, and I’ve got you a match with Kerry Von Erich. This will be a title match. You saw as clearly as I did Shane’s abysmal display in losing the title. I need you to do the job. We need to retain some gold hear in 2VL. Our union is becoming a joke. Men with such intelligence and skill shouldn’t be allowing a pack of dumb hicks get the better of us. As I said you guys have the smarts and the skills. How hard can it be? I want that belt off Von Erich. I want that belt back in the fraternity. Get. The. Job. Done.” He adjusts his tie and walks off".

The "Ten Thousand Men of Harvard" rings from the speakers as a surpisingly cock-sure pair of Nowinski and Otunga walk to ring. Otunga beckons to the corner and has a word in his ear. The lawyer sharing his proposed tactics and knowledge on how to fight Von Erich. The Harvard graduates part with a gentlemanly handshake and Otunga takes his place at ringside as Nowinski stares at the ramp whilst doing some stretches. Kerry’s music hits and the crowd go bananas for their new US Champion. The Texas Tornado storms to the ring and gets jumped by Nowinski as he enters the squared circle.

    Match 1

Kerry Von Erich(Us Champ) Vs Christoper Nowinski w/David Otunga

The match starts with Nowinski getting the upper hand as Otunga applauses outside. A cheap thumb to the eye and low blow gains Nowinski an even better position. Nowinski stalks a bewildered Von Erich and hits chop-block after chop block. He wisely listens to Otunga’s calls to work the legs. He hits a large knee-breaker on Kerry. The cameras cut backstage to a quite impressed John Laurinaitis stroking his chin. Nowinski drops a powerful elbow precisely to the knee of the fallen Kerry. He nips-up and points to his blonde cranium making sure the crowd see how smart he is focusing on the knee. The tall letterman enjoying his performance begins to showboat. He strikes Von Erich with a clothesline and locks on a figure four. The crowd start chants of “KERRY, KERRY, KERRY”. Urged on by the fan Von Erich turns over the figure four and locks in a sharpshooter. Nowinski screams in pain as he edges towards to ropes. But he is too far away. Seeing this Otunga abruptly grabs his friend hand and pulls him to the ropes. The ref warns Otunga of his rule-breaking antics. Nowinski pushes Von Erich out. Otunga beats on Kerry as Nowinski distracts the ref. He rolls Tornado inside and chokes him on the second rope. As Kerry hangs on the rope Otunga takes a large slurp of coffee. As he goes to spit it at Kerry the Texan ducks the coffee hits the returning Nowinski in the face. He loudly screams again, as he holds his eyes. Von Erich rolls him up for the 1..2..3.

    Winner: Kerry Von Erich.

The University members argue in the ring as the victorious Kerry limps up the ramp and shows off his gold to the stooges left in the ring. Cut to backstage where Laurinaitis is seen pulling his hair out.

We now go to a promo with Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine as they tour the country in their laughably decorated red, white and blue star and stripes car. The cherry on top is the disgustingly big eagle emblazoned on the front. We see the tag champs driving from town to town as if on a presidential campaign. Windows down, wind in hair, ray bans on looking uber “cool”. Honky Tonk throws a thumbs up to the camera reminiscent of David Brent. Greg Valentine poses uncomfortably with a baby that he almost drops as he hands it to Honky Tonk. Valentine with a hilarious cooking apron places a nice warm apple pie in front of the delighted Honky Tonk. Footage of the boys being overrun with grannies looking a kiss as they enter an arena. Beatle mania has nothing on these guys. These really are true Americans. Someone the fans can all be proud of. Honky shoots a target with a bow and arrow turning to wink at the camera. He fires again and misses the target hitting a young passerby in the buttocks. He instantly drops the bow and runs. Finally the promo continues with Honky returning to his roots playing the guitar with Valentine to a bunch of boy scouts. One kid has hands held over his ears. More than a few bum notes being played. Again, the car passes the camera as we see the caption.

In the ring we are blessed with the presence of 2VL’s newest members, The Queens finest…The British Bulldogs. Davy Boy grabs a microphone and tells the crowd how much he cringes when he thinks of the current 2VL tag champs. As he explains the sour taste such personalities leave in his mouth Dynamite nods in agreement.

    04.jpg

Davy Boy Smith: “These guys are doing their tour of the states. America’s number one sons? You shouldn’t be proud of them and they shouldn’t be proud of you. We’ve been here long enough to know what American truly is. It is a culture-less vat of overweight obnoxious idiots. *Putting on an ‘merican accent* And the $2 Elvis tribute act cousin Honky Tonk and the blonde tub of goo Valentine are the embodiment of you and your stupid country. We embody our nation Great Britain. GREAT Britain. We are the greatest tag team of all time. Dynamite is the purist technician of the game to ever lace boots and with over forty years’ experience yours truly is a wrestling machine of muscle and power. If you hicks need to find a team to be proud of look past the cartoons that HTN and Valentine and follow The British Bulldogs. The best of the best in tag team wrestling. Call the fat lady, tell her she is on in five. Give us our first victims

    Match 2

The British Bulldogs Vs David and Kevin Von Erich

The two team face off with Davy and David going at it first. Von Erich shows he is more than capable of keeping up with the self-proclaimed technical powerhouse. Smith gets the upper hand and conducts some beautiful double team moves with his partner Dynamite. Dynamite corners the weakened David and strikes him with a plethora of vicious knife hand strikes. The red chested david falls to the grown as Dynamite kicks him in the head. Easeing off on the attack Dynamite orders David to tag in his brother Kevin. The kid cracks his knuckles and neck as Kevin enters. He delivers and Irish whip to Kevin and follows him to the ropes with a knee to the gut. Capitalising on his attacks he hits a snap suplex on Von Erich. He tags in his partner Davy who jits the running powerslam and instantly re tags Dynamite who flies from the top rope with a piercing diving headbutt to Kevins crown. As Davy runs to stop David as Dynamite hooks the leg from the pin fall victory.

    Winners: The British Bulldogs
Match 3: Brutus “The Barber”Beefcake Vs Shane Douglas

Next up we have Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake against The Dean Shane Douglas. Much like our opening contest we see John Laurinaitis reading Douglas the riot act in the gorilla position to “Get.The.Job.Done”. Brutus comes out to a huge pop cuttin’ and a struttin’. As he stand in the ring flexing his sheers for all the audience, Douglas’ music signifies his imminent arrival. Douglas comes through the certain and looks focused. He immediately takes the fight to Beefcake. Beefcake quickly whips Douglas into the corner and whollops The Deans head into the turnbuckle allowing the crowd to count to 10. Douglas stumbles across the ring and Beefcake comically stamps on Shane’s fingers following it up with an elbow right between the eyes. The Dean rolls out of the ring in an effort to compose himself. He snaps at a number of fans that are berating him at ringside. Brutus runs towards the apron with a baseball slide aimd at Shane. Douglas side steps and grabs Beefcake smashing his back into the barricade. As the ref shouts towards 10 he grabs Beefcake and smacks his head against the steel steps. Dragging him into the ring he drops Brutus with a perfect DDT. Ordering the crowd to “Shut up” he climbs the turnbuckle and signals for a double axehandle. Brutus rises and the jumping Dean is greeted with a knee and a reverse atomic drop. Holding his balls, Douglas is then caught with a sleeper dead centre of the ring. Douglas falls after a few minutes and the ref drops the arm one….two….three.

    Winner: Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake.

After the match the Barber grabs his tools and goes to snip Douglas’ hair. Otunga instantly runs to the ring and from the apron warns Beefcake not to do it. His warnings seem to fall on deaf ears as Beefcake continues to tease the shaving. Otunga again yells for Beefcake “You don’t want to do that Brutus”. Otunga has no sooner finished his sentence then with a shrug of his shoudlers begins to shave a large patch of hair on the sleepy Douglas. Otunga leaps into the ring as Brutus rolls to the outside laughing at the big chunk of hair he has shaved out of Douglas’ head.

    adonis_display_image.jpg?1298454539

As we return we are greeted by the University members walking towards John Laurinaitis’ office. Nowinski pads his coffeed face as Douglas taps his head looking for the bald patch Brutus has just left him. As Otunga opens the doors theyare greeted by a bull-like Laurinaitis. He grabs Mr Jennifer Hudson by the bow tie and it is him he goes looking for answers.

John Laurinaitis: “WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? All you had to do was beat Kerry Von Erich. But you two fools couldn’t organise a piss-up in a brewery. ~Nowinski tries to pipe up with a few excuses but is cut off~ But…….But…..But…But nothing you sell yourselves as men of honor. There is no honor bringing our once dominant stable into the gutter. You see This?(He points towards the new TV title) I was given this by management to give to a deserving roster member. You have been a laughing stock. Soo I want you to find me someone that can beat Von Erich. You do that and I’ll give you this TV title. The Man in the Moon? Micky Mouse? I don’t care. Put you Harvard heads together and bring me someone that can save this sinking ship. (He then looks at Douglas) You are one of my dearest friends. Get your sh*t together. Now get out". (He points to the door)

The trio leave and as they leave the office bump into Vampiro. He just stops and stares at Shane Douglas and begins to laugh creepily. Douglas slaps him and asks him “What are you looking at you freak? Get out of my way”. Vampiro holds his jaw as the University make their way.
Match 4: Stan Hansen Vs Vampiro

    vlcsnap2011112803h34m38.png

Vampiro makes his way down to the ring holding his jaw. He looks angry. His opponent looks equally angry as he storms towards the ring. The pair face off and share an old-school handshake highlighting the tradition in the company. A tradition which he believes is being eradicated by TAFKA Goldust. As the match kicks off Goldust’s music blares form the PA system. The fabulous Mess and his gruesome valet Luna make their way to ringside. Both dress in ludicrous outfits. Waltzing to the ring he stumbles in his five inch high heels. Hansen leans through the ropes shouting at Goldust. The Bizarre one replies to the abuse by simply blowing kisses at the Cowboy. He grabs the mike and proclaims he will be conducting commentary. He joins the booth and orders Luna to “help” his best friend Stan. As the match picks up Goldust talks about the reasons him and Luna were late. Crudely making many sexual innuendos. In the ring Vampiro delievers and impressive hip toss to Hansen landing him near the ropes. Luna takes this opportunity to rake Hansen’s eyes. Hansen is infuriated by this and chases Luna as Goldust “Woops and Hollers” on commentary with the excitement. Stopping at the booth Hansen grabs TAFKA Goldust by the neck. Goldust quickly strikes Hansen with one of the monitors Bloodying the legendary grapple. Unfazed by the blood Hansen nearly cut Goldust in two with a Lariat. Goldust shocked by the retort grabs Luna and heads to the entrance way with his tail between his legs. The ill tempered Hansen, having been pushed over the edge makes little work of Vampiro. He hits to devastating Lariats to the ghoul. Leaning his knee on Vampiro’s face to get the pin he points at TAFKA Goldust as the credits roll.

El Generico is especially impressive in this match up and he was first person to gain a pin on Jerry Sags to eliminate him, next out was Stevens who get elimanted by Kevin Steen who was pulling on his tight the ref Brad Maddox did not see this.
This bring's the Sheik in who grabs Steen puts him in a corner are starts to chop on him he then climbs on turnbuckle and starts to bring down elbows but Brad Maddox then DQ'd him when he refused to stop after 10..
Bockwinel comes in and Steen quickly tags in Brody and with a big boot knocks out Bockwinkel..Generico is the last man left he beats Brian Knobs but it is still 2 on 1 he then get's a pin on Steen but Brody runs in for the save, both men start to beat on him when suddenly the Great Sasuke runs down for the save Generico and Sasuke face each other next week but shake hand here tonight.

Bockwinkel:Yes Sheik and I hear Terry is now stinking up another federation.
Sheik: As you know I have to face the piece of crap that is Kevin Steen at Revolution but I have not seen who you will face yet.
Bockwinkel: Well tonight Sheik I am here to issue a open challenge since the CWA has run out of so called stars for me to beat then maybe someone from another fed will come here and face me at Revolution for the Legends Title
Sheik:The Sheik likes this idea the Sheik does not like that you think you are bigger Legend then me, I made Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan and even the great Koko B Ware all humble so this interview is now over before I make you humble.../QUOTE]

Rampage Jackson is outside the ring shouting at Ryback to work the body when all the sudden Kazushi Sakuraba comes from the crowd and attacks Jackson they battle it out all the way up the ramp.
Back in the ring Ryback is getting the better of Lesnar and manages to get him up in his shoulders

    ROSTER

    WTF Heavyweight Champion
    Kurt Angle

The current WTF Heavyweight Champion having won the belt off Bret Hart, 8 months previous. Angle is looking unstoppable in WTF, dispossessing whoever gets in his way. Undefeated in close to a year, Angle has gradually become more and more arrogant in each of his victories showing disrespect to anyone who crosses him, much to the dismay of the fans who once loved him.

    Bret Hart
Having dropped the belt to Angle, Bret Hart has yet to evoke his rematch clause due to a serious injury suffered only days after losing the title. The much loved Canadian is set to make his long awaited comeback in the first of WTF's TV show, Monday Night Mayhem.

    Owen Hart
Since the injury to his brother Bret, Owen Hart has come into his own over the last few months. The once promising starlet is finally beginning to show his potential as he makes the move from midcard wrestler to the main event. Having recently won a Number 1 Contender's match for the WTF Heavyweight Championship, Owen is looking to take on Kurt Angle at the next PPV.

    Batista
Over the last few months Batista has changed. Some might say for the worse, while others argue that they've never seen this side to the former WTF Heavyweight Champion. Before Batista was full of respect for his peers, now it seems that Batista is tired of showing respect and rather wants to respect to be shown to him.

    Vader
Having recently lost the chance to become the Number 1 Contender, Vader is back to the drawing board once again. The veteran wrestler is mulling his future over. Stay, or go back to Japan.

    Bob Backlund
Backlund has just finished up a feud with Kurt Angle, were he came within inches of reclaiming gold once again. Backlund is a living legend in WTF, and a true fans favourite. However time is not on his side, with some saying his matches against Angle will be the last time he ever gets a shot at becoming Champion once again. The end may very well be in sight for Bob Backlund.

    Intercontinental Champion
    Jack Brisco

Brisco is the current Intercontinental Champion having been awarded the belt by current General Manager, Jonathan Coachman, in recognition to the work and dedication Brisco has done for this company, or more importantly the ass kissing he has done for the GM. Brisco has proved age is only a number, as he winds back the clock as one the best technical wrestlers in the world.

    Randy "The Ram" Robinson
Health concerns have plagued the career of "The Ram" for several years now, but that hasn't stopped Robinson's love for the business. A megastar in the 80's, Robinson still hasn't given up hope of once again reaching those heights.

    The Ayatollah
Hailing from Iran, The Ayatollah is probably the most hated man in all of WTF. Although not seen as powerful and athletic as he once was The Ayatollah is still as dangerous and manipulative as he always was.

    Hardcore Champion
    Bam Bam Bigelow

The much loved, Bam Bam Bigelow continues to dominate the Hardcore Division. Bigelow is not only a hardcore legend in WTF, but remains as one of the most incredibly talented big-men in wrestling today.

    Takeshi Morishima
A recent arrival in WTF. Vignette have been playing, counting down to the debut of Morishima. It remains to be seen who will be the first target of the Japanese big man.

    Cruiserweight Champion
    Ultimo Dragon

The well travelled Cruiserweight Champion continues to entertain WTF fans week in, week out, with his high flying, tantalizing arsenal of moves. Ultimo Dragon is capable of transforming the quietest crowd, onto on their feet, captivated by the art which is The Ultimo Dragon.

    Carlito
The cocky Puerto-Rican is a new addition to WTF's ranks. Yet in his short time here Carlito has been extremely impressive, and has shown his desire to win at all costs.

    World Tag Team Champions
The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane)

The exciting duo of Eaton and Lane has lit up the tag division is recent months. The high-flying, fast paced tag team are considered by some as one of the greatest Tag Team's of all time.

Strike Force (Tito Santana & Rick Martel)
Eyebrows were raised when Tito Santana decided to partner up with Rick Martel. Santana was such a well loved and respected wrestler of WTF, while Martel was arrogant and as vain as they come. However there was no doubting the ability of these two men as they have risen to the top of the tag division with only The Midnight Express standing in their way.

    General Manager
    Jonathan Coachman

Known by most as just "Coach", Jonathan Coachman has worked his way up from interviewer to commentator to General Manager in WTF. Coachman is known as an ass kissing yes man. Thankfully Coachman keeps firmly in the safety of his office at nearly all times, and he's not one of those GM's who take up too much of the spotlight.

    swflogo.jpg

It’s been a turbulent 6 months for Spongey Wrestling Entertainment. In the aftermath of Spongemania II after Wade Barrett won the SWE Heavyweight Championship, the passionate SWE fans caused a riot in the Spongezone and dismantled every seat in the arena along with the ring and all were left beyond repair. The repurcussions of these actions were felt for a long time afterwards. As a result of the arena being destroyed there was no shows put on. With no shows on there was no income from the television company and no income from ticket sales. With no income Mr Spongey, the owner of the SWE, was unable to pay its wrestling superstars. All of the 2012 roster, through legal action, voided their contracts with the SWE and were deemed free to sign with whatever wrestling promotion they wanted to. This has left the SWE with no arena and no wrestlers and indeed an uncertain future.

Despite these turbulent times Mr Spongey remains a passionate supporter of wrestling entertainment and remains convinced he can create a product to bring the fans and television audience back to the SWE. To this end Mr Spongey sought out a wealthy investor to help him get the hugely popular promotion back on its feet. In came US millionaire Ted Dibiase. His promises of sufficient investment to get the arena back up to shape and to attract some major wrestling superstars did come with demands of his own. Mr Spongey also appointed Jim Cornette as his General Manager to look after the day to day operations of the SWE.

Mr Spongey has added a roster full of top level talent, a roster that he is sure will thrill the SWE audience. The SWE has its roster in place to go ahead with its weekly TV shows that will culminate in the grand showpiece itself Spongemania III. There will be a full review of the action from these TV shows later but now we are proud to reveal the full card for Spongemania III
