HTC Desire screen repair, do I need a digitizer

Just ordered a phone and the fecking eejit only wrapped it in tissue before sending it. Arrived with screen broken. I'm not sure if I need a digitizer or full replacement. The screen behind the cracks looks fine, and touch functions work except on the cracked part. Here's a photo:

The Digitizer is the screen, what you dont need is the LCD.

You just need the digitizer, should be about 30-40 bills on ebay.

So do I need to get a particular type of digitizer or can I just get any one that says HTC Desire?

I've found one for much less that 30-40 euros.

Not sure if the 'Bravo' is any different to yours it might be a local carrier name for the model/ But yes it is just that section you need, You desire should have a model designation on the rear on its white IMEI label. use that model designation when looking on ebay.

I'd message the seller and complain! At the very least they should pay for the full repair of the phone!

I think Bravo is the American name of it? ... anyway Bravo / Desire are the same thing.

To clarify, the Bravo is HTC's internal codename for the Desire. The same way "Endeavor" is the internal codename for the One X.

So good you bought two? Or did you figure if you put one finger on each screen then you can 'multitouch' properly?

I bought this one for my friend but he obviously can't use it until it's fixed.
