    Hi All,
My latest OOD (object of desire) is a submariner, but i'm not drawn to any one specific brand.

    A few i like include:

    Seiko Sea Urchin
    seiko-sea-urchin-1.jpg

    STEINHART "OCEAN 1 VINTAGE red"
    1164231486O1_vinred_03.jpg

Assuming a low budget (>€300), is there any thing else other there?
I've seen people suggesting orient and invicta, but i've never seen one of those i was wild about.
I'd ideally like something with smaller hour marker "dots".

    Thanks,
    MiCr0

I don't think you'll go too far wrong with either of your options so far, but just to add something I'll go with an Ollech & Wajs M4 diver

Im sure if you look around you'll find someone in Europe selling these.

There's always this, quite a bit below your budget too.

200 quid?:eek: Sorry the cheapskate is stroooooong in me. :) That's great value though.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

One reason I like the Heuer's and Seiko sea urchin is that they come in a 38mm size.

For the older Heuer's 38mm was a Man's size, but nowdays the Seiko is called "mid size" at 38mm.

Either way, I find over that size is just too big for me.

I quite like this one; it almost has a Tudor Grantour quality to it. Does anybody have any idea what the quality of the bracelet is like. I had the older style of Vostok Amphibia before and the bracelet was absolutely appalling though fair, I suppose, for the money.

looks to be a lot better than the regular Amfibias, never seen one in real life though

Seems to have solid links rather than the folded sheet metal of the cheaper Vostoks (right)
