    And it will work for Irish HD DTT but not for UK HD DTT

    This assertion "this media-player hard drive boasts a digital tuner for instant access to high definition TV channels. " is wrong and therefore false advertising in the UK where it only supports SD but is correct in Ireland and France :D

    well the TNT HD logo is for France.... pixmania.... not country specific (only when it comes down to payment!)

    Does use of the Freeview logo mean that it must have MHEG5 middleware? I see no mention of MHEG5.

    Hmmm good point. Freeview wont be happy about that. I doubt it does MHEG5 byte. I am surprised it does TNT HD!

    There were loads of these type media centres out before but they were the Divx MPEG4 profile rather than H264 Pt10. This one actually has the TNT HD logo and in the spec. It actually says you can record in HD (in TS container).

    Pixmania use the freeview logo fairly loosely. Would very much doubt it has MHEG5. Good find STB...could be a nice option for many.
