Only had a small EW bet on Lucky Spin, got him at 14/1 earlier though. My main bet was Indian Maiden.

    LINGFIELD 3:50

Lingfield is getting some slightly better racing than it's been used to lately today and I'm gonna have a pop at a few contenders.

A couple of days ago the favourite, san antonio would look to have the form to win this race but several of the horses that he has finished ahead of recently have not franked the form particularly well this week...notably presumptive and Polar Magic. That's not to say that san antonio can't win this....However, in Katiypour he has found a rival that has stand up form in this field. 2 lengths second to the sparkling form horse accomb from a poor draw and has already decisively beaten horses in this race like Buy on the Road and Quantum Leap. ALSO, Katiypour is taking advantage of a lower handicap rating on turf then he has on the AW....the favourite is giving him ten pounds and this has to be the day where he takes advantage of a winning mark.

    More to follow

    Well done man

    Great, thanks MasterK.

Heres one for today: Lady Algarhoud - 4.40 Wolverhampton

Something of a course specialist, never been beaten at Wolver. Outstanding value at the 11/4 available with Sporting Odds and Stan James.

Won at 2/1, good man CiaranC!

sorry - was getting bet on first. got in as first reserve - opened up at 7/4 - got it on BF at 3/1. back on its preferred good ground since its two previous runs.

    1st 13 Parlessence (IRE) 16-1
    2nd 16 Greek Revival (USA) 20-1
    3rd 2 Coolnaharan (IRE) 5-1
    4th 17 Robbie Mac (IRE) 15-8 F

ran ok - needed the extra half mile I reckon. It was maybe shorter than it should have been because Ruby was on it. ah well.

But, to hopefully rectify things there is a horse called Tauranga running in the 7:30 at Wexford tonight, it really caught my eye a couple of weeks ago on it's debut. It ran very green early on but eventually got the message and stayed on really well to finish 3rd. It runs over an extra 4 furlongs tonight, which should suit. It's trained by Willie Mullins which makes me think it's a future hurdler meaning the 1M 5F tonight should be within it's reach.

It's forecast at 7/2, however both Oxx and Weld have horses in the race so I'd say it will drift as punters usually latch on to the bigger yards in these type of races.

Just won, only returned 2/1. I took it 7/2 so I'm happy.

Sorry lads, I went to the pub yesterday at 5 and never got near boards.ie

I did a lucky 15 which consisted of Golden Acer, Mullaad, fantasy defender and tauranga, all of them won except for fantasy defender, a return of 67.

On thursday I was in the bookies and an old man in there tipped me a 40/1 winner, yesterday he tipped me a 9/2 winner in the 8.50 at cork (gunnison) which I txt'd to fade who didn't get around to doing it

Today however, my father's friend has tipped me with Another Bottle in the 3.55 at York, the last time he gave me this horse it won at 16/1 in May. Do it each way.

    Best of luck today lads.

What was your unit stake in the L15 to only get a return of 67 with 3 winners?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,230 ✭✭✭scojones

1 euro lucky 15, so it cost me 15 in total. They were very low prices, golden acer was 1/3, there was a 2/1 and a 9/2 as well.

Still, getting paid at around 5/2 for picking three winning horses is terrible. As soon as one selection in those multiple bets loses you get robbed.

It's why lucky 15's are a waste of money :)

sjones hows 20/1 odds for Another Bottle in that 3.55?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,230 ✭✭✭scojones

Sorry chump? I don't follow you...

    Do it e/w.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,807 ✭✭✭chump

    :)

I mean he's trading at 20's ... get on now or is he likely to be available at better odds later?

A long shot that you'll know but just curious as to what you expect he'll go off at...
