    Ive decided to make a list of all the official websites for phone manufactures so people can refer to there for any FAQ, or mms settings or phone reviews etc. I think maybe that it should be made a sticky. Hope this helps people.

    Right ive decided to make yet another sticky, well I hope that its going to be a sticky to help people again, this time the subject is voicemail .

    I hope people find this helpful and this should again answer a lot of questions for people and avoid pointless posts been made on the forum. If I can help anyone further please feel free to pm and ill answer whatever questions I can answer.

    Ok then first up the standard question.

    What is Voicemail?

    Your personal 24 hour mobile answering service that makes sure you never miss a call it also unable the user to forward on these voicemails to another number for a charge.

    Every network offers voicemail to all their customer .To access you voicemail from your mobile is simple all you have to do is dial 171. If you require to access you voicemail from a landline its just as easy, here is what you do you dial your 08 prefix whatever that might be followed by 5 then the rest of your number.

    Example below
    From a landline (087) 51234567notice the 5 before your number.

    When you have done that you will hear your personalise greeting or the automated one, either way you interrupt that by pressing # followed by your password, which is defaulted to 0000.Simpe as that.

    Below is a simple table for you guys to change you voicemail. With meteor it’s a wee bit different you have to text the word mail to 50102

    Divert To Activate To Cancel
    Unanswered calls **61* 08x5xxxxxxx # ##61#
    When your phone is switched off **62* 08x5xxxxxxx # ##62#
    When you are already on a call **67* 08x5xxxxxxx # ##67#
    All calls **21* 08x5xxxxxxx # ##21#


    So now that you know how to set up your voicemail, how about we change the greeting. Its simple to change your greeting just dial 172 and follow the appropriate instructions.
