Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Saw these jellyfish along Dun Laoghaire pier today and was wondering what type they were? :)

    Just heard on the radio that Sandycove beach has been closed down because of infestation as they called it of lions mane ( severe pain ) and Portuguese man of war ( sting often results in death ) .

    Southerly winds recently, the float acts as a sail. There are a few sightings nearly every year, usually towards the end of August when the sea temperatures are highest. They are a warm water species and cannot survive for long in our waters. (Portuguese man of war)
