Is it safe to dye your hair in first trimester? Have an appointment to get my colour done this weekend and I'm 6weeks. Have any of you guys got your colour done? any issues?

Most hair colours are now amonia free so its perfectly safe

Old wives tales. I got my highlights done all the way through my pregnancy with no issues. Pity I can't find the time to do so now with a two year old

Hi,
I got my hair dye during my first no problems apart from towards the end of my pregnancy due to hormones the colour didn't take the same, ended up a shade lighter but not bad. I'm completely grey so no hair dye during pregnancy would have freaked me out.
