I could see Manor getting a point today, lot of cars out so early.

"What it means is both Lotus and McLarens are out and Alonso running around at the back"

    Give me strength

Hamilton over cooked that a bit

Williams being smart telling drivers not to race?

    Looks like they are racing

Crazy calls from Williams. If they stop Bottas overtaking Massa they are going to back the up into the Mercs.

Agreed, Bottas in Massa's slipstream the whole time isn't going to do them any favours.

DRS does help Bottas, would he have more pace once passed though

  • Registered Users Posts: 147 ✭✭Thidp

Well, Williams said that he could go with a clean move, but it's not that easy.

Massa is doing a good job.

    Bottas looking closer now

  • Registered Users Posts: 30,090 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

One of the Mercs should go for undercut now, stretch a one stop

Yea, you know those bank of computers you see the teams looking at throughout the race...they are looking at Boards.ie :)

    Good call though.

Williams could have pitted Bottas first but maybe they were watching were Perez was or maybe gave Massa first choice of pitting

In fairness to Williams, I wouldn't want to be the engineer telling massa 'valterri is faster than you'

  • Registered Users Posts: 147 ✭✭Thidp

Williams said he could go... if he was told that two laps earlier, the situation would be the same. Massa would not let him.

Now, if you are saying that Williams should have said "Massa, please, let him go" that's another story and it goes against every "we want racing" thing that all the fans are complaining about these days.

Once the Mercedes pit crew moved, Williams should have been ready to counter that. Rookies.

    Anyway, here comes some rain!

Lewis always seems to use a little less fuel than the rest, I wonder why?

Bit if rain and this will have turned out to be one of the most exciting races the last season or so

I'm not saying they should have let him go. But I do think it would have been the only shot at victory as bottas probably had the pace to beat Hamilton out of pit
