They obviously feel that not doing it in any way is a really, really bad thing. :o  :D;)

No word yet on who the host(s) will be, though Simon Delaney has said he'd be more than happy to continue in this role.

We actually have a pretty decent Film and Television industry, and certainly punch WAY above our weight internationally – why shouldn’t we reward and celebrate those responsible?

Don't believe everything you read in the Sindo. Conor McGregor is probably the only Irish person punching above his weight right now.

I have been flicking through the EPG the last few days and I keep seeing "National Television Awards" appear on TV3.

I though it was the IFTAs but alas it was the British "National" awards

They have had a full week to edit it together, can't be any worse than last years car crash RTÉ did live.

Louise Duffy and Eoghan Doherty hosting it...

Seems like the IFTAs have taken into account everybody's previous criticisms of show being too long, and are compressing the whole thing in to 15 minutes...

Two IFTAs for Sarah Greene... I'd say you'll see her down at her local recycling centre in the morning...

Cant believe John Connors (Traveller in LOVE/HATE) was nominated for an IFTA...
