    Ms

That was exciting qualifying. Rosberg really ain,t looking like he can challange Lewis. Great to see the Ferrari,s in the mix and the Williams and Force India,s are not doing to bad either. Sad to see Jenson did not get out at all. Alonso done great do getting the car to 9th in Q2. A pity. Maybe at the next race Mclaren might get a car into Q3.
Hopefully it will be a good race tomorrow now. Looking forward to it.

May be it was just the car didnt suit him last year after all, as opposed to Ricciardo just being a better driver. His body language last year suggested he had lost hope, but he looks rejuvenated this year. Maybe an arm around the shoulder from Ferrari is what he needed. He seems to have an edge pace-wise on Raikkonen, who is a good yard-stick to be measured against.

Button not going to start the race :(

Some sort of glitch with the energy recovery system that might make it unsafe or likely to fail

Wonder are the problems Buttons been having this weekend are any way related to the crash Alonso had in testing

Button out of the race. Issue with the hybrid system spotted when they fired the car. McLaren say they won't send him into the race with the issue still present.

    EDIT: Beaten to it

Unlucky that Jenson won't start. Wonder is Alonso's position a genuine car improvement or slightly lucky

Poor old Pastor. He didnt even crash yesterday and a bit still fell off his car.

    Kimis back!!!

Raikkonen ahead of Rosberg. That is gonna suit Vettel down to the ground.

That was a fantastic overtake by Kimi

So weird seeing that amount of sparks coming from the rear of the cars again!

I wonder if Rosberg will complain that the Ferraris aren't driving fast enough, so he can't overtake...

I'm loving that new Ferrari team principal. :)

Judging from that onboard the McLaren doesn't sound anywhere near as rough as it did a few races ago

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,831 ✭✭✭Peanut Butter Jelly

I'm guessing that Vettel made a mistake because Rosberg has closed by a second.

It looks like Rosberg ate his spinach this morning!

Rosberg finally gets his finger out and is told he needs to manage tyres. Modern F1 at it's finest.

That's just unbelievable,. Adjusting his brake balance at about 200MPH going into a corner against Vettel...and pulls it off.

I'm loving that new Ferrari team principal. :)

He was hilarious in the team principal press conference too when asked about the current contract regarding how funds are distributed, I'll find the quote from the transcript later!

    Some nice racing so far

Hopefully DRS could help Rosberg attack Hamilton
