Bi-weekly FGC Podcast Dec

Been thinking of having these gregarious podcasts set aside once every 2 weeks to discuss topics surrounding big FGC news and it's relation to the Irish scene.

E.g would be 3-4 people,30-45mins long via Skype with set topics like:

Introductory news (Whats big atm)
Topic (Makes a great player?, whats a tier list and is it important)
Special guest Players, scene, current state of community bodies (Local rivalries)
Upcoming events

All timed resonably for each.

Get players on to discuss set topics from the beginning, maybe indulge mercurial discussion also

I'll need proponents alongside myself who can hold great attention during debate while maintaining a fecetious, laid back style for the podcast.

Plan to record it and iron out kinks and upload to RS.ie or an Irish FG channel.

Now ofc, it's coming up to a important season and we're all very busy (big assignment due on my BD :C) so I may record ONE early side this month 10th- 20th and leave it till mid Jan, see how it goes.

Bi-weekly is twice a week. From the Latin 'bis', meaning 'twice'.

I'll happily take part. I like the idea. I don't really enjoy American podcasts and I need something to listen to at work so I hope it becomes a thing.

Although I'm not very active in our own offline scene very much, (no idea if this excludes me from being a potential candidate) I'd still be interested in doing this

sounds like fun idea for the community though,
if you could somehow turn lar around to the idea of going on it be toooooo good, either that or just record our bull**** conversation from xgc, the world needs to hear the larisms only we get to hear.

Podcast with no name #1 has been recorded

I've learned plenty from the first recording
I'm very thankful for Brian and Niall's presence, humble and great conversationalists.

The experience has undoubtedly help future recordings 3 fold

All audio issues have been delt with.

I really enjoyed the podcast. I wasn't planning on listening it to the whole thing last night, I just wanted to hear to the beginning to know how it sounded, but I ended up going for the full hour.

The lads discussed their points well, everyone seemed well prepared, Nutrient moderated and kept time well. I have nothing negative to say.

All you need now is some of that no-licence music Doom was talking about as a 5 second intro/outro to lend that extra air of legitimacy.

Looking into RSS, I haven't found a site that'll RSS as well as house the podcast free of charge

where I'm placing the audio versions atm, You can make an account and follow me to get e-mails of next podcasts, can also be Downloaded, shared, embed via a Href so if someone with access to RS.IE wishs to embed this podcast on the site they're very welcome.

Twitter, YT are probably the best ways I know as of now.
