Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I checked already. There's no oil on the gearbox anyway.

Seriously, I recommend Galway Hooker, it's a very tasty beer if you're fan of something a good bit better than Heineken.

Heineken is well overrated. Much better beers to be had around Europe especially in Germany. German Beer ftw!

I'm not much of a drinker but my favourite beer is Hoegaarden.

Did you not have a 318is, not a 318ci? That got run into the back of on the N7?

You're right - good catch there.

Anyway - do rental cars count in this thread? Currently in the states for work and driving a Chevy Cruize from Hertz. It's such a flipping tin can - so light. The automatic gear box sucks, but on the plus side it does have cruise control and is pretty comfortable inside

    Thanks for the comments!

Yeah I'm not looking forward to the possible wait to get a somewhat good price for it. The fact that its a 1.8 petrol is off putting for some people, not sure why really, its fairly handy on the juice.

Between €1500 and €4000 seems to be the price range for them depending on condition and mileage (just went 94k), its colour is unusual so that helps and its much much tidier than when I bought it a year ago (also have a set of 17" wheels going with it) so would be happy with 3k (not sure if that'll be optimism though!)

I'll have to wait and see! :p

That was very reasonable. Shur you will do most of that work yourself..

hmm.... Normally would, but I will get Chris in Sandyford to do it for me.

I want to focus on the 8er this year and if I get bogged down with the E39, I'll get nothing done.

Will definitely spend a good while on the paintwork etc though. It's in good shape but I want to have it Boraesque.

The 159 alloys are a bit different and bigger too, the spokes don't have the curve in them,

It's the 1.8 twin spark, cost €3700 with 60k miles and a fairly patchy service history :pac: but so far its been worth every penny, it puts a smile on my face every time I sit in:D
