streaming music ?

Not sure if this is the right forum or not, but I have Eir fiber, It has a usb port on the router and I am wondering can I plug in an external hard drive with music on it and stream it to my hifi? * I have ayamaha WXAD-10 * hooked to the hifi for streaming. Thanks
