Export payments without smart meter

Hi, A friend has a new build property, he's installed solar. He's got a 29 kVA connection to the grid, but smart meters are not available for that size connection Anybody know how exports will work in this case? Thanks

Official one is buried in the cru document in the appendices, but for easy reference here's the calculation . It is on the export mec not the mic,
How much solar do they have in?

It's gonna be a 5kW inverter connected to 6 kWp of panels

He should really get a bigger inverter, and the NC7, as deemed export on a 29kVa connection with a 10-15kW inverter would be more!
