Sony soundbar to pc.

Hi, I was given a sony soundbar. I would like to connect it to my pc. It has a usb connection. Is it possible to connect both together using a usb cable with two male connections. I dont want to try it in case I do damage. Thanks

There's nothing to damage.
As long as the PC recognises it as a speaker, you are good to go. Same as plugging in USB headphones.

You might want to check the system spec sheets from Sony Support, that USB may only be a service port for system upgrades rather than an input port or it might just be for playing content from a usb stick.

The USB cable didn't work. I had to get an analog to digital converter. USB port is only for memory stick. Thanks anyway.
