CLOSED - Win a Philips 32" LED TV from richersounds in the Boards Birthday Bonanza!

Thanks for all of the competition entries and stories so far and helping us celebrate our birthday month. This is our last competition in the series but competitions will remain open until their selected closing dates and winners will continue to be posted in the threads. Check out the rest of the competitions listed here.

=========================================

RicherSounds.ie have very generously given us this television to give away to one lucky boardsie!

What they say about this television:

Quote:
Enjoy compact TV excellence from a big brand performer, with the Philips 32PHT4504.

Pixel Plus HD for sharp images
At the heart of this impressive TV is a Direct LED backlit screen with HD resolution. You also get the benefit of a unique Philips technology; Pixel Plus HD. Artefacts and noise from any source are detected and reduced. This creates super-sharp definition and ultra-low noise images for a more realistic and lifelike picture.

Smooth motion
For an even better picture quality, this Philips 32 inch TV features 200 PPI (Picture Performance Index). This gives enhanced sharpness and clarity with fast moving images and is perfect for both sports events and action movies.

Flexible connections, including twin HDMI sockets
Twin HDMI sockets make this TV ideal for connecting a TV set-top box and Blu-ray player or games console. Socket 1 also features ARC (Audio Return Channel) which is ideal for hooking up to a soundbar or base. Alternatively, connect to your soundbar or AV system via the optical digital input, for a similar upgrade in sound. For private listening, a headphone socket is also included.

USB with PVR recording function
The USB interface is ideal for connecting media devices and playing back your stored photos, music and movies. Use a compatible device and you can also use the output to record live TV. Working with the programme guide, PVR (Personal Video Recorder) function lets you store your favourite programmes on a memory stick – to be played back at the time and place of your choosing.

Get the most from the screen, with Freeview HD
Freeview HD is a huge step-up on regular Freeview TV and the perfect match for this HD screen. If you're not using Sky, Virgin, BT or another digital TV provider, Freeview HD is the way to go for free-to-access digital TV through your existing aerial. Compared to standard Freeview, images are far crisper, with rich colour and greater realism.

I'm loving "The Outsider" at the moment. Based off a Stephen King book. Well worth a watch

I was on an IQ test on RTE years ago. Family member on some Irish dating show years ago presented by Twonk.
My arm was on an add run on RTE during the Rugby world cup.

I got spotted at a football match on TV when I was meant to be some where else. The situation was compounded the next day when I called in sick as I was tired and emotional from the night before!
