    Couple of questions.

Would met eireann have limited equipment?

    Should there be more investment?

I recall reading somewhere that they rely on a lot of input from amateur weather stations as well as a limited number of not so modern weather stations dotted in a couple of places around the country?

Do they need more weather stations and technology? If so and if you were able to kit Met.ie out with state of the art tech - what would you buy and set up and where?

    Cheers!
