    met.ie Regional forecast for Connacht:

Cold and frosty overnight with with icy stretches as temperatures fall to between 0 and -2 degree Celsius. Most of the night dry but some scattered showers will continue to affect western areas. Towards dawn outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow will spread southwards over the province.

    Tomorrow

    Tomorrow will be a cold day with further outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow during the morning;

Ah maybe we can squeeze a dusting out of this.

Thanks Docarch, had to go out for a few hours.

I think most of ulster & leinster will see some snow early tomorrow, but being such a similar setup to yesterday I don't think it will be cold enough to stick away from high ground.

PPN looks very light, not great to get evaporating cooling to help things accumulate.

Dublin /wicklow mountains will fair best id say for any accumulations.

Heres what it was like up at 3 Rock yesterday morning :)

Looking at the BBC forecast i wouldn't be to hopeful of much snow falling here.
Might be some frost beforehand so whatever falls may stick unlike Tuesday night.

Just watched the bbc weather forecast on their website.
It looks like the best or worst affected areas with snow will be Dublin, meath,
Kildare, Wicklow, Carlow and north wexford.
    All predicted forecast of course.

Met Eireann not really having it for Dublin airport. Light snow showers 0400-1000 with max 1mm per hour at 40%.

    6 hours x 1mm = 6mm = 6cm of snow. Yeah! :)

Are you referring to the Dublin Airport TAF?

The TAF has been updated at 5pm and gives the following (Fairly similar)

    Probability 40%
Temporary from 4am-10am, visibility 2000m with light showers snow.

    Also of note
Temporary 10am-1pm (tomorrow) light showers rain/snow (A.K.A sleet)

Knock airport has Temporary 6pm-8pm showers rain/snow, and Prob40% 1am-9am 1200m showers moderate snow.
Shannon has Temporary 6pm-9pm and 2am-9am showers rain/snow
Cork has 10am-3pm (Tomorrow) showers rain/snow.

not expecting much tbh, its March and tonight looks marginal and then there is also the question of how heavy will it be. We now have to wait till 2017 for our next proper shot unless a miracle happens over the next 2 weeks.

Yup 100%. Father mentioned more of a sleety mix over Eadestown too

Sleety rain is very much possible at 5 degrees. Have seen wet snow a few times at 3/4 degrees also.

It's all about upper temps and thickness.
I've seen snow at 7 and rain at -1
