Bus Eireann Inter-City Weekly/Monthly Ticket

Is it possible to get a weekly/monthly ticket for someone who is commuting from Limerick/Dublin on a regular basis over the next little while? Can find nothing on the website.

10 journey (a journey being defined as one trip between Limerick and Dublin or vice versa) tickets are valid for one week (ie worth 5 day returns). In some cases even if you're only doing four return journeys a week it's still cheaper to buy a 10-journey ticket than to buy an individual return ticket on four each day. You can get them in both adult and student varients.

Hmmm, wonder why that is. Must be only available from towns with in commuting distance, I wasn't aware of that up until now. Although it doesn't specifically mention any restrictions on the info for the tickets here:

I see a day return from Limerick to Dublin is €22. It's possible one of these "Open-Road pass" tickets (aimed at tourists) might be good value for some one making a few trips over the course of a week or two.
