Losing by 5 wickets flatters us really. We were never really in it. Needed another batsman to hang on in there with Balbo. Anyway, huge learning curve, lots of positives to take. We only get better by playing at this level and I've seen enough from us to justify our place on these tours.

Looking forward to the T20s. Looking forward to Tector and Little coming in. Both only 20. Genuine pace threatens on these pitches. It could be right up Little's street. Big chance for Tector too. A good series and he could take Porterfield's spot.

Had a look at the summer fixtures there and there are fúck all games down as taking place in Dublin, with the entire New Zealand ODI series taking place in Bready???? Surely not?

I know, bloody criminal. Maybe concerts or something preventing games in malahide?
Still tho, Pakistan should hopefully draw a crowd.

Next game on tomorrow. The start of the T20i series. Be interesting to see what side is put out. Josh Little and Harry Tector, both 20, called up as William Porterfield and James McCollum aren't picked for this squad

Sterling gone... went for a big shot that also would have secured the hundred but he’s instead walking... two new batsmen at the crease now, run rate might slow a good deal as they try and get in.. pity.. 200 was on the cards, 190 looking more realistic now,
