expected more from checo after FP1. There is still time would like to see him in the top 4 at least.

    End qualifying right now!

Lando Norris of course is certainly in the conversation.

Aye could be a wet Q3 potentially? That would throw the cat among the pigeons alright!

He may struggle to get in the top 6 with Ferrari and Norris looking very quick.

Lewis isn’t getting the merc to click. Now they could be sandbagging but from a reading of this thread it seems the Ferrari’s have been quick all weekend.

I swear if Hamilton gets pole here after Q1 & Q2 ill scream, he's nowhere near it so far. Danny Rics quali about the same as his weekend, just can't get the hang of it.

I'm just bracing myself for Hamilton pulling a pole lap out of nowhere.

2019 Qualifying was the fastest ever lap around Monaco, with Hamilton putting in a 1:10.166, which is well over 1 second faster than the fastest lap we have seen so far this weekend!

4 tenths off now. Considering the "10%" loss of downforce from last season it's not bad. :pac:

Only reason we may not see a new fastest lap is the limited engine modes nonsense. It's certainly worked to tighten up the field in qualifying.

Shocked to see Dani Ric out. Historically been a very good track for him.

Have to wonder if Ferrari have managed to come up with some kind of suspension innovation. They've been great at low speed this season and especially this weekend so far.

If Max can put his Red Bull on Pole he can recoup a bunch of points this weekend, the Ferrari's are faster than the Merc it seems, hopefully Checo can put a good run together, and Norris seems like he could get in front of Hamilton potentially as well. Lewis could be 7th or worse on the grid here unless he really pulls something out of the bag!

Ferrari or Norris on pole, be a nice change.

Lewis is P5 after his first run and it’s not clicking.

Perez is at nothing again. I hope he can improve.

Norris like silk through the last couple of corners

That's a nasty tactic by Charles :pac:

    Leclerc in the barriers.

    Leclerc pulling a Schumacher. :pac:

One of the Ferrari lads cheering. Hahah

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,842 ✭✭✭✭PopePalpatine

Was that in the Ferrari Master Plan? :pac:

Leclerc going into barriers saves his pole :D

Really looking forward to today, be interesting to see in Ferrari can keep their pace! Is it too much to ask for a Charles and Max front row tomorrow?

    Get in! :D

Ferrari should be happy with the performance but that's a costly mistake from Leclerc. What damage to the car now, gearbox and that'll be a penalty

That's a pity for Sainz more than anyone.

That wasn't exactly subtle from Leclerc...

Worst grand prix of the season , i wont even watch it.
    No overtaking.
was suitable in the 1960 `s when cars were able to pass each other, all glitz and glamour but rarely a decent race.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,932 ✭✭✭✭titan18

Doubt that'll be a gearbox replacement but will suck for him if it does.

So was I the only one to think of Singapore and Renault ? I mean he was a mile off making the corner.
