Jazz Janewattananond with a hole in one. Serious name. Surname like a word search puzzle.

Wow, shocking from mcilroy after that drive

    Speith again. Jaysus.

Hopefully he has somebody to mark his card after this.

    Wedges are deplorable

Mcillroy sinking putts 5-10 feet for par all day. Gets an attempt at that distance for birdie so duly misses

Lovely round by Westwood. Gonna qualify for Ryde Cup on merit at this rate

Looking forward to this Rory and Hovland group tonight. Have a feeling it will be a partnership come September time at whistling straits

Well that didn’t go well!! Very disappointing from both and surprised with Hovland given his form. Rory clearly struggling to trust his swing but that’s not an excuse for his atrocious wedge play.

Twice missed a green from 80 yards!! Don’t think 10 handicappers would do that.

Looks like conditions are really tough for the morning starters so far.

Wind is up so could lead to tough scoring and a tightening leaderboard

The last 9 times a player has had a 1 shot 54 hole lead on the PGA Tour they have failed to win. As much as I would enjoy a Westwood win later, I fear he will make it 10 in a row in that stat.

The main question though of course...

    Is the 6th downwind?

    :D

Yeah supposed to be stronger wind than yesterday. I’d love if even Rory would have a go for the laughs really.

Unlucky he didn’t birdie the first

The field at Bay Hill is currently +150 today, and counting.

    -81 in round three.

    Bring on more carnage

Did you see Bryson not so subtley try to move the boundary fence with his body?!

    Bryson testing the boundaries again

It's very tough today, gotta fancy it'll be one of DeChambeau, Spieth, Bezuidenhout or McIlroy. They've all won on tough courses before.

the course is made for Westwood....surprised he has never won there before

His putting will let him down IMO. Would have liked to see one of those 2 putts drop. That was a majorly ropey tee shot off the 3rd as well, which is very unlike him.

    Rory's tin cupping it!

He be fine for rest of round now pressure of winning is gone .

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,300 ✭✭✭✭fullstop

    That’s insane!

He might have had the distance if he hit it towards the green.

Commentator earlier when Westwood was standing over a 6 footer:

"He's made a few of these in his career"

    I was thinking the opposite

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,976 ✭✭✭waynescales1

Not much social distancing being observed there on the 6th. Barely 2cm between patrons.

    Haha, Westwood.

He’s missed 3 from inside 10 feet in the first 5 holes. That’s not gonna get it done.

Is he in a greenside bunker or 100m out, ridiculous either ways

He’s 80 yards out. Probably only 50 from front of the green.

Typical Westwood on a Sunday really, although I'd love to see him win.

Harrington tees off on the final hole of the weekend on a respectable -2, T19. Makes triple bogie for +1.
